I’ve made a number of purchases from Lincs Pond plants to start a new pond. Generally the quality of plants supplied was good. A dwarf lily does not look healthy but I will give it time. My main concern is that I ordered water soldiers and because of a catalogue error they sent water chestnuts. I’ve raised with customer services who have just fobbed me off albeit politely. The error was due to their catalogue numbers being incorrect and whilst they have promised to correct it I have still not got the plants I ordered. On another issue I was charged £121 for a plant which was £2.60. They did give me a refund but they need to resolve issues with their computer systems not matching what is on offer.

I purchased 8 marginal plants from this company, I received a delivery that only had 3 plants in the box and was only big enough for the 3 plants, however they sent me an email to say my whole order had been delivered, fortunately the courier took a photo of the box so there is proof that the box was only big enough for the 3 plants.
I have emailed the company 3 times, spoken to them twice and have received no responses from them, the customer service is appalling.
I now want a complete refund and a return note to return the 3 plants I received.
However I’m expecting to have to escalate my case through PayPal as I don’t think lincsplants will do anything to resolve my issues.

Finally got my missing plants after persevering at my attempt to get to speak with someone, however unfortunately I will not be a repeat customer.

Absolutely amazing quality of an aquarium plants, was in shock when I saw how perfectly green they have arrived .

And the customer service, well you couldn't ask for more helpful people. Asked today about help to introduce the plants to my shrimp tank and was giving an advice of what to do to make sure they are 100% save for my shrimp.

Thank you Lincs plants i will be coming back for more plants !!

All my plants arrived healthy and happy and everything was a great price. I love the option to have them potted or not which is great for me because I like to do everything myself and save money. I emailed to find out when my order would arrive and they instantly refunded me money off what I paid for delivery as it was going to be a day late which was really nice. Great communication 👍 will definitely use them again ⭐️

I bought a lobelia vedrariensis plant from Lincolnshire Pond Plants eBay store which arrived tipped half out of its pot and with the majority of stems bent or completely snapped off
when I contacted them sending a photograph of the damage I was merely told to ‘ plant it 10cm deep and it will flourish ‘
well it hasn’t flourished but has basically died - by far the worst quality plant that I have ever bought online
I also paid a premium for 24 hour delivery which wasn’t actioned - it arrived 3 days after my purchase
what a waste of almost £25
unfortunately I can’t recommend and I would definitely never use them again - a very poor experience

Purchased a dwarf water lily on 24/8/23 potted up but never grown. Just asked for return of my £14.99

Very disappointing.
Order delivered missing 3 plants. Remainder of plants very poor quality. Complained via email, missing plants delivered but nothing done to rectify/compensate for poor quality plants. Will NOT be purchasing from then again.

Sold unsuitable plants. Non-existent customer service - do not buy pond plants from this company online. For a small pond, a "medium starter pack" included two plants, the labels of which stated that they were suitable only for a lake or were not suitable for small ponds. For 3 months, while I requested a refund, this company has fobbed me off (initially asking me to return the plants, for which P&P would have cost more than any refund). They've finally told me that they will not refund me. No interest whatsoever in customer service.

My plants arrived with two live LEECHES IN THE BAG!

I have used this company for pond plants for many many years and always been very pleased,
HOWEVER,
I placed two orders recently and have been very disappointed with the quality, the Frogbit I received was almost dead with no leaves on it at all, one had several leaves crushed and the water soldiers I received were is a sad looking state.
To my horror I was also supplied two LIVE LEECHES with the plants. I contacted the company and the reply was, they won’t harm your pond and you will have them already!!!! I was disgusted.
These were for a new set up which does NOT already have leeches in it and the only thing in it is plants from this company. I have had ponds for many many years and never had leeches either I. Them or supplied with plants!!!!! I am now going to have to quarantine it and throw all of it away and start again.
No offer of a refund and completely dismissed.

The Good: If you live within driving distance of Lincolnshire Pond Plants, I would say it's definitely the place to go for your pond plants as they have a excellent range to choose from.
The Bad: Their delivery service is shockingly bad. You will get notification that your order is complete within 48 hours, however this does not mean it has been posted. The tracking number is with Amazon, which gave me hope that the plants would be delivered in a couple of days. However Amazon pass the delivery on to Royal Mail, which added another couple of days delay to the delivery. From the order is complete notification, to delivery, took 6 days, and the packaging of the plants was a disgrace. 2 of the lilies had fallen out of their pots completely. 3 out of the 5 water soldiers have died completely. The 5 pieces of Hornwort only 1 survived. 10 pieces of Frog-bit only 2 survived. All the potted plants are not supported in any way inside the basic cardboard boxes they get posted in, so the moisture from said plants just softens the boxes. I ordered from this companies own website rather than Shopify, but based on other reviews on here I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering from them. Never again.

There was a shortage on my order, I contacted them by email to be told I needed to send a photo of what I had received, which of course doesn't prove that there was a shortage, I was told their policy is they must have a photo before they replace or refund, I don't want a replacement or a refund I want what I ordered, I have asked them to send me proof that they had dispatched the goods, which I doubt I will receive, their customer service is the worst and they need to have a system in place to be able to check what has been dispatched.

I have bought many plants from this company over the years, expensive but reliable. Recently quality has declined to almost zero. I ordered a plant of Mimulus ringens on Ebay and was sent a bag of mud with a shrivelled tiny leaf. Postage was very expensive and had been delayed twice, and the plant was supposed to be 9cm long. I contacted the company who wrote back asking for more information which I supplied but received no letter back.I should have read recent reviews, but my advice is avoid these people at all costs.

I ordered 30 litres of pond compost as part of a combined order, I only received approximately 9l in 3 x 3l bags. I took photos to prove this and contacted Lincsplants who said they would send the remaining amount. The 2nd order arrived but only contained approx 14l. Again I took photos and contacted Lincsplants - Their response was we have sent you the right the amount and you are not getting anymore - if you are going to use this supplier check carefully what you get and don't be surprised if you don't get what you paid for.

Ordered 50 plants for tropical tank arrived in a little thin box all only abot 5 inch long would not even decorate a a small tank within 1 day leaves all falling off thought it was saving money now need to spend money at a decent shop

I ordered various plants for our pond from this company. Paid straight away online and as it was a bank holiday we expected a delay in dispatch. However on the bank holiday Monday I got a message saying our order had been dispatched and would arrive on Wednesday same week. I thought that was excellent. Delivery company was to be Amazon shipping. So I clicked the tracker which came through via text and I could see the package was on route. On the Tuesday morning I thought I would check the tracker to see how far up north my package had got only to see a message saying my parcel was being returned to sender as it was undeliverable and that for further details I was to contact lincsplants which I then did. I sent them a polite email asking if they could contact the delivery company and find out what had happened to my order. That’s when everything took a drastic turn for worse. I then received an extremely curt email informing me that my order was apparently on its way back to then because I had rejected it!!! Obviously I replied saying that I had never had the item delivered as the tracker stated it hadn’t even got past Leeds and I live nowhere near Leeds. So basically after spending the last two days emailing this company and receiving what I can only say were the most unhelpful and down right rude replies. My plants arrived as if by magic. No idea what went wrong but I will never use this company again as their attitude is absolutely disgusting

Bought a dwarf water lily for mums pond from Amazon, excellent service came within 2 days . With all the instructions how to plant.
Will definitely use again for more plants .

Quality of plants currently being supplied by this company is very poor. Ordered a pre-potted water lily in June - received a lily in a 3l basket with two small rotten leaves which fell off as soon as I unpackaged it. Over one month later I’m still waiting for leaves to appear.
I also ordered 10 Frogbit plants in early July. Received 10 tiny plants, most of which had rotten leaves and looked very sad. Contrast that with an identical order I made with a seller on Ebay for less money - 10 decently-sized healthy plants which dwarfed those supplied by Lincolnshire Pond Plants.
Avoid.

My experience was good. I ordered some oxygenating plants and a small waterlily. Delivery was given as one week so I was surprised that they arrived together within 48 hours. They were well packed in strong cardboard which i was able to recycle.

The quality of their plant is awful, no sign of life. When you complain to them they spend weeks wasting your time asking for photos, etc. After you provide them with the photos they turn around with oh, it's too late now!! So I am warning all potential buyers to steer clear of them as you will be dropping your money in a pond 😜. I dropped my tenner and got nothing in return! In sum they sell plants which have no chance of survival, dead roots of lilies for example.
