Absolutely appalling company. Advertising pot grown plants but I received dead, dying and non existent (lumps of compost), bare root plants. Some were stinking, slimy and rotten, others broken or moul... Ver mais

It's the first time I have used Lincolnshire pond plants and I am well impressed. The plants for my 55gallon tropical fish tank arrived in the time frame given. In excellent condition and well package... Ver mais
Good if you can buy in person. Bad if you need stuff delivered
Lincspondplants was the only company I found offering a complete kit for growing dwarf lilies, which was great for me, being a novice, so I ordered one. Intended for a present, I ordered a week ahead and the lily kit arrived in good time, delivered by Amazon Shipping. Sadly it was inadequately packaged, with no handle with care, or fragile labels, and on opening I found the root basket was split fully down one side, and the plastic barrel also split, so leaked water profusely. The plants seemed OK though.
I emailed Lincs, and got an immediate apologetic response, promising a replacement on 24hr delivery, which was great customer service. But that's when Amazon Shipping really demonstrated their incompetence. An email from Amazon told me delivery would be the next day, but their online tracking system told me there would be a delay. Then 4 days later I received an email saying I'm now subscribed to Amazon Shipping ( there was no visibility on my ordinary Amazon account). So on logging in, it said sorry the item can't be found. Then two days later an email told me it was undeliverable, and the tracking system told me this was due to damage, and to contact Lincs, which I did, asking for them to send a another replacement by a different courier. The replacement turned up quickly by Royal Mail, still without any handle with care / fragile labels, and again only cardboard wrapped, not boxed, but fair enough, no delicate plants inside this time. So this all came good, but not until 8 days after the deadline for the present.
So in summary, Lincs customer services are top class, but perhaps overworked by the effects of a poor quality packaging department, severly compounded by using a grossly incompetent courier company. A nice choice of lilies, but ideally you need to live close enough to be able to collect in person.
Avoid
If giving zero stars was an option I would. I purchased 2 x 3 ltr pots of potted sweet flag and 2 x 3ltr hollandia water lilly kits. Cost £54.
I received four measly tufts of yellow nutrient deprived reed that were not even rooted (2 in each pot) and two peices of root wrapped in a plastic bag, one with a single water lilly leaf attached. i would recommed that anyone thinking of buying pond plant should go elsewhere.
I bought five pond plants from them on…
I bought five pond plants from them on ebay which cost £40 - they substituted blue flag Iris for purple Loosestrife which was very annoying & like others have said the plants sent were very tiny although to be fair I think they are slowly improving but in contrast I went to World of water today in Hailsham & bought five pond plants for £38.99 in fantastic condition - four in 1 litre pots & one in a 3 litre pot - all ready to go straight into the pond & all big & healthy . I'm sure there are better online shops - like Joel Ashtons Wild your garden website but you can't beat physically walking round & viewing the pond plants & getting to take them home there & then .

I ordered £80 worth of pond plants and well what a shocking state they arrived in!!! From snapped plants to quashed plants! Missing plants and dead looking ones! I have emailed them and had a £3.49 refund for the Iris which is only 50% of what I paid! Sent pictures to them and a got a reply back to say the plants go like that!!! This is the worst customer service I have had in a while especial as I contacted them for advice on the plants best suited for my pond!!!! I'm thinking of taking this to trading standards!!!
small plants- several died
small plants. several died within a few weeks - as despite being native they were not frost hardy - and should have said keep in a greenhouse - which they didnt.
AVOID
AVOID! AVOID! Please save your money and avoid these scammers. The plants were expensive and so tiny that an order costing hundreds of pounds fit in a box small enough to fit a watch. The plants were also close to dying and looked like I have been charge for 1 leaf and 1 root exactly. Worst place that sells plants, there are other better ones. Just avoid please!!!
Stay away from that shop!!
Website says "daily dispatch" it's a lie, my 3 orders almost took a week to get dispatched, they create the "label" fast but don't actually dispatch. ordered 3 orders for over £110 , last one was missing 10 stems... complained, customers service been arguing for a few days back and forth to say i'm wrong, they dont value or respect customers, told them to delete my account and "have a good life" lost a good customer for a £4.00 mistake they refuse to admit.
Pray you get good plants as the customer service is poor
Plants were mostly good except the winter Hornwort oxygenator was very measly and not as much as shown on the website. The stems were half the size and half the amount, even taking into conservation that it was winter stock. I complained, but was told I was wrong and to get refund if not happy. Not really good service considering it was my first order and a newbie at pond planting. Needless to say I won’t be ordering from Lincs Plants again.

Ordered plants on 29th Jan,told 3 days dispatch. 5 days and no sign of my plants, and zero communication from the seller. Won't be bothering with this company again, should have read reviews as they do appear to be poor at everything.
Appalling lack of customer service
I placed an order from Lincolnshire Pond Plants via Amazon. They messed up my order and sent me the wrong item. They promised me they would send the item that I had actually ordered once I sent the wrong item back. This I did but instead of sending me the right item they sent me a refund which was less than the cost to reorder so I am out of pocket. When I pointed out the iniquity of this they were not in the slightest bit interested even though it was their mistake. The best judge of a business is always how they react when things go wrong hence the 1 star, they actually deserve 0 stars.
Healthy bare root plants delivered on time
Bought the 8 bare root Frog collection. Arrived on the specified day and the plants are very good - healthy roots and foliage. Each plant individually packed in a wet plastic bag with planting label, posted via Royal Mail in a strong cardboard box.
No hesitation in using this company again .
Cannot use aquatic plants but still expected to cover return postage!

Do not waste your money...
After viewing the catalogue and a friendly chat with a lady on the phone, my husband ordered a package which included a water lily and a selection of plants. He chose the waterlily and asked the lady on the phone to use her discretion to choose the other plants. He waited in anticipation of a range of less common plants. When they arrived, we were seriously disappointed. The plants were commonly available and very poor specimens. They proceeded to die (what there was of them). After numerous phone messages, texts and emails, he finally was told, 'I've spoken to the manager and there is nothing we can do.' My husband is a professional gardener and is in a position to recommend good quality suppliers. He will not be doing so in this case, quite the opposite. We feel the customer service has been appalling. We did keep the waterlily in the vague hope that it might show some life, but it is a stump with no roots so we have given up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. B.Bartlett
very poor quality plants by mail
very poor quality plants by mail , website description and images nothing like i received, trying to resolve with them , would not recommend purchases online from this company as based on my own experience so far they do not appear interested in resolving issues and providing good customer service and it seems keeping the money i spent with them is more important
Average service

Bought some pond plants based on their ‘what you’ll receive’ photographs. Asked for a deferred posting date as I was away which they acknowledged. They then ignored it, sent the plants too early and when I got back, not only were the plants much much smaller than advertised, some were so far deteriorated I couldn’t tell what they’d sent me. I emailed them twice and they haven’t replied at all. I don’t seem to be the only disappointed shopper
Baught a Canna black Knight plant of…
Baught a Canna black Knight plant of them said it woz dormant because of time of year still not growing even though I've got 10 Canna plants 5 different types . baught it of a well known selling site messed me about now for 2 months won't replace it wished I would have looked at there reviews there's a lot of people saying got dead plants do not buy of this business rubbish
All the negative reviews are true
All the negative reviews are true, the positive ones must have been written by their friends. Don't buy online from these guys, they are charlatans and their customer service is non existent. I ordered some lilies from them. I waited a month to see if they would grow but only about half did. When I contacted them for replacements, as is my right under consumer law, they just said they didn't do that. Crap product, carp company, shouldn't be trading.
Arguably the worst aquarium plants I’ve…
Arguably the worst aquarium plants I’ve ever come across. In my defence, I thought I was ordering them directly from Amazon...it wasn’t until I received the confirmation email, that I realised I had purchased from a third-party seller.
Spent £30 on 6 different bunches, 1 didn’t even arrive...and the ones that did were in atrocious condition. Basically sent me 5 bags of slime for £30! There were more dead plants in the delivery than actual alive ones. The few that were barely alive, disintegrated within minutes of going in my tank.
Took pictures and sent them, seller took over 48 hours to reply...and when he did, he was unhelpful, awkward and obstructive. I asked for a refund 5 times, but he refused to until I had sent photos of EVERYTHING! How do you take pictures of a plant that’s dissolved in your tank? Or gone in the bin and has 2 days of rubbish on top of it?
I said OK just refund me for the few plants I did send photos of...and the bunch that didn’t arrive. He refused and persisted to claim he couldn’t refund until he had received photos of everything. What a bizarre rule.
Anyway, in the end I got fed up of his nonsense and reported him to Amazon, who after only 1 day of investigating, agreed with me and issued me a full refund.
I’ve since looked for reviews online...and my god! Had I known who I was buying from, I wouldn’t of bothered. Their eBay feedback section is full of people all saying the same thing.
To avoid the seller replying to this, trying to claim he has no record of me, or my purchase, my Amazon order number is #205-6788178-7025133...and I have no problem forwarding the confirmation email from Amazon, or their own email confirmation to Trustpilot.
If they only had a handful of negative reviews, you could put it down to bad luck...but look at them...just look at them!
