good laptop at a good price
I did have some initial problems with the purchase as a poor quality laptop was sent to me. I was eventually sent a replacement that was in great condition and is working perfectly. Very happy with my purchase.

It's been around 4 months since I bought my Mac from Maple UK, and I have to say it's been a great bet. After researching on Amazon and eBay, I came across a lot of fake reviews for most second hand Mac laptop sellers on them, so I decided to go for Maple UK. The laptop I bought has been working perfectly, and all the extras (RAM and SSD) were installed as required. I would buy again, and cannot do anything else but recommend this company.
It's a second hand machine, so you would expect it to come with some external minor scratches, but the hardware and software are working as if it were a brand new laptop. But just half the price!
The only drawback was the time it took to be delivered (between 2 and 3 weeks in my case, which I guess doesn't mean it will take this amount of time every time), although Charles kept me in the loop whenever I emailed him asking for an estimated time of delivery.
Experts
I contacted Maple to get a replacement Mac when my 2011 Macbook Pro had been assessed as having a non-repairable logic board/GPU fail. Charles at Maple advised that they may be able to fix it. They did - and in the process saved me £100's and kept a decent machine going for hopefully several more years. If you're told your machine is beyond repair, seek a second opinion. Thoroughly impressed with Maple's service and expertise (and for keeping viable electronics out of the waste cycle!)

Maple UK were extremely helpful, knowledge and professional throughout the whole process. They advised me of the best Macbook for my needs at the outset and have been extremely helpful in getting me setup and using the laptop. I would recommend them to anyone unsure of what they need as they talked me through everything in language I understood.
Replacement laptops took a while, but very happy with the replacement and service
Sent a laptop back for repair under warranty - kept chasing on email to try to find out how it was getting on and didn't get a response for days. Eventually, after emailing every single contact email, I got a response saying that they'd sent a replacement laptop. A replacement arrived and 1 USB port doesn't work and the trackpad is awful whenever anything is plugged into the 1 remaining working USB port.
Quickly organised a 2nd replacement (and upgrade as means of an apology) to be delivered and faulty laptop collected - 2nd replacement is really good, running well and in great condition. Happy eventually!
Rapid friendly warranty service
When the plug on the power supply for the Mac I bought for my son for Christmas broke, I contact Maple to see if it was covered under the warranty. I was delighted that they agreed to cover it and, not only that, the replacement was in the post that afternoon and delivered directly to my son at a time convenient for him. He is now able to charge his Mac again. A good service provided by both supplier and delivery. Thanks.

I ordered a refurbished Macbook Pro, one arrived within the delivery timescale, but was the wrong grade and specification. I tried to call Maple but the number given for them doesn't 'connect'. I made contact by email and had a pretty rapid follow up call from Charles who apologized for the error and offered a replacement at the correct grade and spec, or a full refund.
I opted for a refund, a return label was emailed in a couple of hours and the laptop dispatched. It's arrival back at Maple was confirmed by email and the funds credited to my account a couple of days later.
So, from my experience the returns process works. They do need a functioning phone line though.
Fantastic customer service
Ordered a MacBook Pro grade A for under £500 (great price) from their website, it was delivered and packaged very professionally upon inspection there a few marks I was unhappy about, so emailed their customer support about the issues after around 30mins I recived a response (super quick imo try emailing Amazon) their agent was very professional and within a hour of emailing them a delivery date was arranged to collect the old one and a replacement was dispatched!
The customer service I have recived was excellent and one of the best I have had when dealing with a tech company, I will definitely be returning customer and would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.
I also recived the replacement today and I can't fault it, its clean and works flawlessly.

best company for a used mac
Bought a 2010 imac there for a really good price (below 500 quid). Usually this is where people then make bad experiences with the customer service thats being provided. Not here. The customer service there is excellent, they even agreed to send me a wired mouse from apple (the iMac would not recognise the bluetooth keyboard and to add a device manually you would have to go through the initial setup first) This is a known issue with iMacs and the fact that they realised this instantly says a lot about how experienced they are with troubleshooting mac devices. I would also feel comfy buying a more expensive product with them one day. I know that i can rely on their customer service. I would not be 100 percent sure if I could rely that much on the actual apple customer service. Best used apple device website in the UK. thats for sure
Category A MacBook Pro.
Initially I had a few problems with a refurbished Apple MacBook Pro that I bought. I dealt with Charles at Maple who was extremely helpful. It was picked up within 2 days by courier who also delivered a refurbished and higher spec 15 inch MacBook Pro. It is immaculate,looks brand new and my daughter is delighted. However, what seperates Maple is their customer care which I cannot speak highly enough of. I would undoubtedly use them again and would recommend them to everyone.
Great aftercare service
Original delivery was slow (would have liked to know this when ordering for a 14yr old who expects everything the next day).
Product arrived well packed and very good condition. Two screws worked loose and lost. But very quick replacement by post (eight screws supplied problem solved. Great value for money.

Great Service and Quick Delivery
My trusty late 2008 15" Macbook Pro finally gave up the ghost after seven years of sterling service. I had no need for a new 15" Macbook at £2000 so went in search of a refurbished older model. I quickly found Maple and they had the exact model I was looking for - a late 2011 15" Macbook Pro Grade A with 8GB RAM. The order process was quick and easy, and although it stated there may be a longer delivery time than usual due to high demand the device was on my doorstep exactly a week later - not bad considering I live in a remote Scottish island! The device was well packaged and came with a brand new MagSafe power adapter. I would not hesitate in recommending Maple Computers for a refurbished Macbook Pro, and I'm sure their other products will be of similar quality. Great work Maple!
Fantastic service
I started looking for a mac book pro on Monday morning for my daughter who is at uni using macs and finding her pc lap top was sometimes causing problems. We decided a second hand Mac would be the best thing and found Maple through Google. There were a few to choose from for sale and we emailed the company several times asking various questions. Each time they responded very quickly and efficiently. We chose the one we wanted and it arrived by courier today (wed). It was packed up as if new and I would describe the condition as excellent. My daughter is now using it.
Would thoroughly recommend maple for their service, you couldn't fault it.

Outstanding Customer Service
Once again I feel compelled to share the love after another pain free and pleasant purchasing experience at Maple UK. Two years ago our eldest daughter bought a reconditioned Macbook Pro which is in constant use at university, it has proved invaluable to her and has never let her down and the customer service at Maple was excellent. Am glad to report that a second Macbook Pro purchase this week reaffirmed our first experience, in fact their customer service has even improved since our first purchase. So congratulations to all at Maple, you should all be very proud of yourselves, we'll be back for a third Macbook Pro I can guarantee!!
Maple UK service
I recently ordered a 2nd hand HP laptop from Maple UK.
Only small criticism was that the delivery was 4 working days late which I think was because the courier company lost the package and a replacement had to be sent. I guess this was not actually the fault of Maple and it was resolved quickly.
When this arrived I had a query over the set up and I emailed Maple a question.
I received a very prompt reply from Charles by email. He then followed this with a phone call which I asked for. He was very patient and helpful in solving my issue and I now have the drivers installed which I need to use the WIFI.
You do not find this level of service often enough in my opinion! Thanks.

17" MacBook Pro
I'd seen several refurbished Apple products on shopping telly and had seen that Apple even sell their own refurbished goods. I've always wanted to find out what the fuss is about Mac... so I took the risk and bought a 17" MacBook Pro from MapleUK. It was better than half the price of a brand new one. The machine looks like new, fully loaded with programs I didn't expect to get and the experience was "as new". I opened an iCloud account and have not looked back. In fact, I'm now considering getting a MacPro to replace my desktop... and I'll definitely get it from MapleUK.

Top quality
I was at first a little sceptical to order a refurbished Mac but I read some review on maple and decided to go with them as they seemed the best.
The Mac arrived within the time they said and all was running well. But after a week or so the battery came up with a warning sign saying it needed to be replaced.
I emailed maple and they instantly replied I explained the situation and they sent out a new battery including the tool required to open the Mac up. ( I said I wanted to do it myself rather than send it off)
Couldn't be happier with maple. 5 stars
