I bought my macbook from maple and I'm very happy with what I've received. exactly as described and will use again.

Could do better - have promised to do better
I originally wrote a review complaining about the failure to respond to my emails requesting an update on my order. Following that review Maple immediately got in touch, apologised profusely and agreed to refund my purchase. This was done promptly and [name] was in regular contact, which was in contrast to the lack of response I had experienced before posting the review. [name] has stated that the initial failure to respond was due to a temporary blip and has indicated that plans are in place to prevent future customers from experiencing the frustration of having enquiries going unanswered. I really hope that is the case as I had noted some previous reviewers had also experienced similar issues. however the positive reviews on trustpilot had outweighed the negative reviews. I do hope the problems are addressed and look forward to reading positive reviews in the future.
Macbook Pro
I ordered a refurbished MacBook Pro from Maple UK and have found the experience very good. The laptop turned up in a timely fashion and although there was an error on the hard drive upgrade, Maple Customer services made a rapid response to my initial email and resolved the issue on the same day (Sunday). Very happy with them and will look at using them in the future for my next purchase.
Contact/ Delivery issues- overall good result
Laptop had a few issues getting to me, and had issues with the charger (not maples fault, it was an apple charger). And also some small issues with the laptop but this was sorted free of charge under the warrantee agreement with a replacement.
Some slow delivery due to the time of year and reasons beyond maples control.
Great Service and excellent follow-up support for customers
Not only great customer service, but I also found Maple UK gave timely and helpful replies to my customer queries regarding the MacBook Pro that I purchased from them - even though the issues raised were more than 6 months after I purchased the computer, and were 'user mistake' problems in both cases rather than technical failure.

Had issues but a satisfactory solution
Bought an iMac that had a hard drive failure 2 months down the line. Chased Maple about collection & repair and was promised a repair but then after chasing them over couple of weeks, my emails were not responded to. Assuming that this will not be dealt with I was very disappointed and took the computer to get it repaired at an Apple store, where they also discovered that the extra RAM I paid for was not added. Of course, was not happy with having to pay even more money to get it sorted. However, later in the month, Maple contacted me about the collection. As I had already taken it to the technician, they offered a refund for the money I paid for the repair as well as the upgraded RAM and apologised. So, all in all while I had some problems with them initially it has all been sorted now and I am pleased that it all worked out in the end.
Great Customer Service & Quality Products
Fantastic customer service, the team at Maple UK went out of their way to deliver my Macbook Pro in time for a business trip despite the tight time scales. The Mac we purchased is great value for money and a quality product. It is exactly as described, a few minor cosmetic blemishes but in full working order. Thank you for your help Maple.

There were some glitches with deliveries - which affected a lot of people
over holiday period. It was a bad time.
And it probably unfair to knock off a star.
When I am dealing with a different company I do get anxious. Like a lot of people I have been in the habit of dealing with the name we know and that has to change.
Maple UK did get the problem sorted out so I will confident buying from them again,
I am delighted with the laptop.

Excellent company to deal with
They were great. I bought a refurb 17" MPB from them. It turned out to have a faulty keyboard. So I emailed them and they called me back pretty well straight away.
Over a few emails, they sorted out a replacement– no quibbles – arranged a swap-over with their excellent courier and here I am with a machine that is, in fact, better suited to my needs than the original. Brilliant.
couldn't give better customer service.
got a macbook from them and it worked fine, but the hinge was a little lose, nothing wrong with it, just i was picky, so i wrote to them making if they would be able to tighten it, probably 15 minutes later was given a reply saying, would you like to swap the macbook in 2 days via a courier. I am now writing from this new macbook and the hinge is tighter as i asked for. Honestly speechless, just gives me a smile to think that there is a business that can operate like this. Our lovely Mac book pro lap top was delivered towards the end of the stated delivery period, accompanied by a ticked off pre-delivery check sheet. It looks new & was easy to set up. The DPD delivery arrived at the exact time stated.

The wait for my MacBook was totally worth it. It's in a great condition (especially considering the price) and works well. I received very immediate and successful customer service, and would use this company again. Really pleased with this buy!
Quick delivery, quality product, fast email response
they helped advice me with some queries I had, replied within minutes via Facebook. Quality product, fast secure delivery and also kept me upto date via email with the delivery process inc a time slot on the delivery day. Bob on! Defo use again!
AMAZING!
When I Initially ordered my mac book, I placed the wrong order as I had ordered another model which I didn't want. I emailed in and got an immediate response which was great!
I managed to order the correct laptop after a few days and I was impressed with the service that was provided to me.
My laptop didn't however come on the delivery date set, but I was emailed and sent a text about the delay and it came the next morning!
Overall, I am completely happy with the service I have recieved from mapleuk and Charles who assisted me with my queries regarding my order.
Being a student is difficult in itself, and being able to purchase a MacBook for the prices advertised was a bargain!! I have told all of my friends and family about maple uk and I will definately be purchasing something else in the near future!

Excellent in every way, price, delivery and communication
Maple Computers reinstates your belief in internet purchases... I was looking for a 'previously enjoyed' ibook and looked at Apple. I couldn't get a better deal, particularly with the 3 year warranty.
I have been dealing with Charles and, even though I usually prefer a telephone number, his speed of communication has been excellent.
My ibook was received ahead of schedule, to within the hour expected, and had much more on it than I expected.
I would not hesitate to recommend Maple to my friends, particularly those with children.

Goods not as described / Wrong machine dispatched.
Item was not as described due to the wrong machine being delivered. However, MapleUK did their very best to offer me a replacement or refund. Due to personal reasons I have chosen a refund.
Resolution and a happier customer.
I recently purchased a "Grade A" macbook pro from Maple as my employment requires me to be mobile very often. The laptop arrived with a couple of dents here and there and the battery was only lasting a maximum of 1 hour. This was no good for me so I got in touch with Maple. It did take a couple of emails to get a response and a lot of to-ing and fro-ing but they sent a replacement - which wasn't up to standard either. Back to the drawing board with communication back and forth but today I am happy to say we have reached a resolution that suits both of us. It has been difficult because I have since moved to France to undertake a renovation project. Charles (the business owner) called me personally today and was very helpful in putting a final resolution to this complaint. Yes i will admit it has taken a while and we didn't get off on the right foot but I have discussed things with Charles and feel it necessary to amend my review from 1 star to 3 stars - My first review was written before any response to the 3 emails I sent had been received. So, Thanks Charles for sorting this nightmare out.
A good alternative to the price of new, but a young business still developing!
I did not want to pay the price of a new Macbook and a friend had previously bought two from Maple without a hitch, so I thought I would give them the opportunity. Had a rocky start, placed order and delivery date was a week later. On reflection I suspect I was one of many parents with a similar intention for offspring starting at uni so Maple were inundated with orders. On receipt the Macbook would only work from mains. Solving this took longer than necessary, waiting on the tech services dept to perform a remote analysis and they only work Mon to Fri was probably the low point. However as soon as they confirmed a local fix was not possible a replacement was swiftly arranged. On receipt we had a good condition machine with some additional complementary software (of great use, not sales rubbish!) that has since performed like new. I think we were one of the unfortunate few that got a the occasional bad egg. Charles did try hard to fix, I do think the tech support could have happened sooner but that is a lesson for Maple. On the whole I would recommend and may even treat myself in coming months to a Macbook. I expect they will continue to provide good quality low price used Macbooks, a benefit to us all.
