CRIMINAL MIS-SELLING AND FINANCIAL SCAM – DO NOT TOUCH MOMENTUM WARRANTIES
If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is engaging in what I can only describe as fraudulent mis-selling.
I purchased what was CLEARLY explained to me as a comprehensive breakdown and warranty package. I paid my hard-earned money in good faith. However, when my vehicle broke down and I called them for the emergency assistance I had paid for, they hit me with a convenient "get out of jail free" card.
They claimed that the service had to be "activated" within 7 days of purchase. They stated that because I missed this arbitrary, hidden deadline (which was never pointed out during the sales pitch), my policy was void, and they could do absolutely nothing to help me.
Let me be clear: This "7-day activation" clause is a trap. It is a deliberate loophole designed to take your money and provide absolutely ZERO service in return. They sell you a product, take your cash, and then hide behind bureaucratic small print the moment you actually need them.
When I asked for a refund or any form of goodwill, they were robotic, dismissive, and refused to take any responsibility for their lack of transparency at the point of sale. They are happy to take your money but will run for the hills when it’s time to honor their side of the bargain.
To anyone reading this: Do not be fooled by the low prices or the slick sales talk. Momentum Warranties are not here to protect you; they are here to separate you from your money. They are preying on people who need security for their vehicles, only to leave them stranded.
If you are considering buying from them, please save your money and buy from a reputable provider. This company is a financial trap, and I will be reporting them to Trading Standards for fraudulent mis-selling. They should be shut down.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my claim has been handled.
It has been at least four months, and I have still not received any meaningful update regarding my claim. The person assigned to my case has stopped responding to both my phone calls and emails.
I informed him that I had been to both the High Court and the Magistrate's Court regarding this matter. He initially made some effort to assist, but then all communication stopped, and I have heard nothing for a very long time.
If he is unable to handle my claim, I expect to be informed so that someone else can take over. If Momentum is not proceeding with my claim, then I want my car returned to me, as it was allegedly declared a write-off.
After four months, I believe I am entitled to clear answers and an update on the status of my claim. This level of communication and service is unacceptable.
I would appreciate your urgent response and a resolution to this matter without any further delay.

Bought a van
Bought a van , advised I was secured with a warranty which gives you the false security of cover. Absolute nightmare from the get go , and after so much fighting with them to cover from the garage , they only paid for some parts. They would not cover the diagnostic, not the oil that was lost due to having to remove the item ( because they asked the garage to do so " with my authorization as if they didn't cover they would not pay) and also they would only pay for some of the labour time ... so lucky enough after so much stress to get it covered but its not covered , its only partly , surley if they claim its covered but they won't pay for all the things needed for the full repair .. AVOID AT ALL COST !!! Garage stated they have delta with them on many occasions and there always a nightmare ! I read here someone said people refusing to take cars in because there covered by momentum,, I can totally see why ,, this took its tool on me and the garage. And let's just say they had no sympathy that I had just had cancer surgery and going through chemo ,, disgusting company , uncompationate scammers !
Also they took 8 days to deal with the claim leaving me with no van and really ran the garage round bend , I felt utterly sorry for the garage having to deal with them also.
