Battery as good as OEM
The battery I ordered was the exact model I needed, with the right capacity. Seems to work great, after replacing the old one it can hold a charge for as long as the original used to. The delivery was quick, it came with some tools like screwdrivers and those things you use to pry open electronics, like a guitar pick and a bar. I used them, even, they do the job fine. For 30 or 35 quids I gave my laptop a new lease on life.

Bought an BTY-M55 for my MSI katana gf66 11ue to upgrade the old BIF0_9 one after seeing a post on reddit, nearly doubled the capacity to 90wh. Fits perfectly and reports perfect health. Crap. Works not better than my used battery I wanted to replace. Original battery easily worked up to 4 hours when it was new. with this I cannot r each one hour at the most energy saving and just idle laptop.

Complete con! I purchased a while back now granted, in July 2024 but since purchase it has never kept charge and my laptop wont work unless its connected with the charger. It gets stupid hot I mean to the point I don't even think its safe and not just when being used for gaming or browsing, when its simply idle with nothing open. All I suggest is to buy parts like this from the manufacturer.
(update) After being contacted by the company they asked me to delete my review and do a series of tests and provide them with further details under the promise of either a refund or replacement battery for my faulty product. I proceeded to do all that was asked of me and was offered a 50% refund for the awful product they sent me. I said a replacement battery would be ok to which they didn't give me an answer and asked me to remove my review before I got anything. Avoid this scam company at all costs.

TWO WEEK OLD BATTERY NO LONGER CHARGES
Ordered a Battery on 18th November. Today is the 5th December so by the day i had gotten the battery to today it no longer charges at all. Have taken pictures showing battery at 0% with charger in and not charging and with old battery in and charging. Have sent message to Msibatteryshop and waiting for an answer as battery didn't even last two weeks.
Today 10th an UPDATE from my review above on 5th Dec....
So they got back to me offering me a refund or replacement which i replied straight away and said i would rather have a replacement as the battery did work ok till the day it just stopped charging. This is what they replied with today that basically say's their batteries are rubbish, well it does to me.
Email reply from Msibatteryshop.....
As we could not confirm whether a new replacement would solve the problem or not, we do not suggest a re-shipment.
All i can conclude is their customer services is very slow to respond and half their emails are auto generated. I'll wait for a refund and if that takes long i'll take up a case with Paypal to sort it out as the evidence is here along with the emails back and forth to Msibatteryshop.
I think this company are hit & miss, you may get a good battery but after mine stopped i did find quite a lot of other reviews that stated the same thing as mine with it not charging after a short while of having it. But i will add their customer services are terrible so be warned before buying if you do see this review.
Battery may be cheaper than elsewhere but i guess as the old saying goes 'You get what you pay for'.

Terrible service, terrible customer service, terrible delivery.
I ordered a battery on 06.11.24, set to arrive at the latest by 14.11.24. It's now the 18th and no battery and no one has contacted me to tell me when to expect it. They use Evri and it has to be the worst delivery company I've ever dealt with. Despite many attempts, I can't contact them and they still haven't called me. I spoke through the online chat on msi and asked for a refund as I had to buy another one and they said no. I have to wait until it arrives, whenever the hell that will be and send it back. So I have to fix their problem. Don't bother with this company, I'm looking elsewhere for anything I need for my MSI laptop in the future and I've told all my colleagues to do the same. Terrible service, terrible customer service, terrible delivery and they let me down on my first purchase from them.
**The below reply is just typical of a company who doesn't care. They've told me to 'wait patiently' when it's now 5 days late having already 'waited patiently' since the 6th of this month Never again.
