I would like to commend My 1st Years…

I would like to commend My 1st Years for their outstanding customer service.

I recently made a mistake when placing an order and entered incorrect details for a personalised product. Although the error was entirely my own, the team at My 1st Years went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. They replaced the item without hesitation, even though they were under no obligation to do so.

A special mention must go to Dorota, who provided one of the best customer service experiences I have ever received. Dorota was professional, understanding, and incredibly helpful throughout the process, making what could have been a stressful situation very easy to resolve.

It is rare to find a company that places such a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. My 1st Years exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Your order was placed using our standard delivery service. We understand that you later contacted us requesting for the order to be shipped as soon as possible, however once an order has been placed we are unfortunately unable to change the delivery service selected at checkout.
To try and help, we offered the option to cancel the order so that a new order could be placed using the next day delivery service instead.

I got a backpack in selfridges and the…

I got a backpack in selfridges and the personalisation has overlapped slightly. Upon sending pictures via email the customer service was quick and efficient. Ewelina instantly sent me a shipping label to send the backpack back to them and sent me a new one in a timely manner. A shame it wasn’t quite right to begin with (unlike the company as I already have three personalised items from them) but the customer service made it super quick and easy to resolve. Thank you for your help

Customer service poor

So I ordered a sheep and robe personalised. On the sheep the name was moving around and the sheep actually had a mark on it.

The gift box itself was as damaged.

Contacting customer services was poor.

The only thing they would offer me was £5 STORE CREDIT. Which is no use to someone if they have received poor customer service and will not be returning as a customer.

They eventually sent me another gift box out which again was damaged on arrival. To which there response was we can’t refund anything as our gift boxes are a goodwill gesture.

So does this mean that if you revive a gift box because you spent over £60 and got one free that it should be damaged.

They also suggested I return the entire order. Now that’s great if there’s not a new baby you are meeting and don’t want to arrive without a gift.

Very poor compensation attitude and just all round not as good as they use to be.

Save to say I won’t be ordering from them again!

We would like to clarify that we did offer both a return and a replacement for the personalised soft toy, however this was not accepted. In addition, we replaced the complimentary gift box twice and also offered £5 store credit as a gesture of goodwill.
As the gift box is a complimentary item and not a paid product, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund for this item. However, we completely understand your frustration regarding the condition it arrived in and we are very sorry that the replacements did not meet expectations.

Beautiful Gifts & Excellent Service

We purchased some birthday gifts for a little girl turning 2 and were genuinely so impressed with My 1st Years. The delivery was very fast, everything was packaged beautifully, and the luxury gift box was excellent quality. The items themselves were lovely and felt really special. Can’t fault the service at all - a fantastic experience from start to finish.

The product is great quality. I made a mistake with my order. Customer services were fantastic. They rectified the issue immediately. They had no need to do this given that error was mine in the first place. I would order from this company again and recommit to others. Thank you.

Great customer support

I emailed the company before ordering to check whether they could support personalisation in a foreign language script. They said they could, but unfortunately when I received the product, the script was completely incorrect, somehow backwards from what I provided. This was disappointing; however, the customer service team were absolutely amazing about getting a corrected replacement sent out on express delivery. The replacement looks wonderful and I'm really grateful to the team for working so quickly and helpfully to sort things.

Shipping to Australia

Wanted to place an order with 1st Years but wasnt sure if they shipped to Australia, so i contacted them on WhatsApp. Aleksandra promptly responded to my enquiries and advised 1st Years do ship to Auz but not larger items....so not the personalised chair I wanted :( This may change in the future, so always check with the WhatsApp team. Aleksandra was very helpful, polite and speedy *****

I have used my first years many times…

I have used my first years many times now for various gifts for my own children and others. Particular thanks to Krisha from customer services recently who emailed to say my gift had been delivered to the wrong address but that they were offering to replace the gift as a gesture of goodwill. From the email I actually managed to track down the address and was able to get the original gift back. But, I really appreciate the effort from the team helping me out! Thank you, great customer service.

Horrible Customer Service - avoid

I ordered a gift for a friend who had a newborn. The gift did need to ship internationally to Canada. The business was incapable of doing this despite saying they do international shipping.
What is worse is that on both occasions of them trying to ship WEEKS went by and only when I chased them did they revert saying the items were on the way back to them. Presumably, had I not emailed, the would have silently pocketed my money.

Great product and great customer service

Ordered a wooden activity cube for a family member's 1st birthday. It got lost/stuck with the delivery company, and when I contacted My 1st Years they responded within an hour and had a replacement sent out immediately. I have now received the replacement 2 days after that email interaction.
Top notch customer service and the activity cube itself is absolutely beautiful and will be a well loved gift.
