A good service but prices are high by the time you've paid for various certificates. My site cost me over £600 for the year.

Have used this company for nearly 10 years now and never had an issue. If I need to know something, I just call customer services and the answer is always right there. Their customer services staff is quick and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Quick quid oppitunists at best
Well, what can I say.
- Domain renewal prices HIGHLY inflated above the market value (.uk/.co.uk) (Most providers £10-12 per year, these is nearly £20 a year inc VAT)
- Free to transfer in like every other provider BUT if you want to transfer out, £10 +VAT per domain. I had 7 domains, every other provider allows free .uk domain transfers in and out, Nominet only impose fees when you require them to do this, they do not charge fees to do this to providers since it is an automated process
I have seen on other reviews that they complained and had been offered "free" transfer out of their domain, why charge in the first place unless its a cash grab on people who do not know any better.
When you raise a ticket, generally it takes 48 hours for a reply, so the extra income is not going on 24/7 staffing costs by the looks of it either.
I went though nominet and moved all my domains for £24 in total instead of the £84 these would have demanded.

Initial AI generated email easy to understand but didn't solve but then got a human being on the phone quickly. Helpful but still didn't solve but follow-up email received in less than 24 hours did. Good service

Buy your domain names elsewhere
Buy your domain names elsewhere. What an absolute farce. Website was hosted for a few days, then they start their nonsense about verification of emails. I did not receive these emails. Yet, now they want ID and everything to prove my identity. Absolutely not. It's a small non-offensive, WEDDING website for crying out loud. I am not providing personal details of ID, passports etc. to some support staff.
Now they are holding my domain hostage, and their customer service are useless. I have tried everything in their emails, I am getting NOWHERE.
Just go elsewhere, this company is the worst.
In reply to their response - they cannot tell me why I am not receiving the verification emails, but I receive all their other emails? Clearly something broken in the chain, yet they want ID to "prove I am human". Seriously, that's ridiculous.

To clarify, the verification requirements are mandated by domain registry rules designed to prevent fraud and unauthorised activity. These checks apply to all customers equally, regardless of whether a website is commercial, personal, or for a wedding.
We offered a free transfer away so you could move your domain to another provider; however, we cannot remove the verification lock, as it is a registry-mandated requirement that applies to all registrants and providers.
The restrictions on the domain are the result of these mandatory registry requirements, not a discretionary decision by our support team.
