I dealt yesterday with BEE at namesco and throughout our conversation I found everything to be very easy to understand.

You can never get to speak with anyone in support & you are kept hanging on the phone forever. Absolutely dreadful customer service. I will be cancelling my subscription at renewal!

HOW DO YOU DELETE A WEBSITE AND EMAIL THAT HAVE BEEN PAID FOR AND GIVE NO NOTIFICATION AS TO THERE BEING A PROBLEM?! Ultimately, they don't care and legally need to be heavily fined for the loss of earnings, funding and sponsorships opportunities they've impacted at such a crucial stage our business!

Well, this is what names.co.uk / NAMESCO did yesterday without any justification, as every reason they gave after practically a day of waiting for a response, part of which, had to be done from a ceremony (!!!) could not be quantified and yet, with a bank holiday weekend approaching and active promotions campaigns set for the holiday period nothing was done to assist with restoration without the suggestion of paying more money and now a restoration fee for services already paid for!

Furthermore, during the week another email account could not be accessed with no proper explanation given as to why, and the one given was very quickly proved to be incorrect!

I have been with this company for more than a decade and to say I'm appalled by my repeated experiences in 2026 is an understatement!!!

Even having upgraded to their e-Commerce package proved to be problematic and remains the same, but to suddenly delete a company website and email with no warning, in turn impacting numerous other businesses and doing nothing to resolve the matter deserves some serious compensation and I'd say this level publicity and broader - - - time for some press I'd say!

HOW ABOUT THE STAFF MEMBER/S WHO DID THIS LOSING THEIR JOB, OR BEING MADE TO FEEL IT IN THE POCKET - AS THEY'VE JUST DONE TO ME AND NUMEROUS OTHER BUSINESSES!!!

Trustpilot, I've never given a negative review! However, with this level of experience there needs to a be a facility for a ZERO RATING!

The account code on our invoice didn't work and I was given a different one by telephone. The email address was for the wrong person and when I was sent a link to set up a password for the correct account code and email address it wouldn't work. I await a link from the original sender when she works out what's gone weong.

Names.co support line are always very helpful. I'm not tech savvy and they always go the extra mile to explain why things do or don't happen.

I think 1 star is too much for this company.
This is a typical up north dishonest company.
over priced, very bad customer service they offer the bare minimum and charge the most. Stay away there are better alternatives I moved to fasthost for less.

The support person I spoke with was polite, easy to understand and helpful despite me being somewhat vague. A problem with my emails that hopefully is solved with the one phone call.

Patience towards the price range, very swift in customer service and could improvise on future web development in good timing as a prospect partner.

This is a review of Roland Esik not Namesco's Helpdesk I have mixed experiences with the Helpdesk. Roland was excellent his response to my service call was empathetic, helpful and he resolved my issue promptly, Whilst my calls to Namesco helpdesk are not always acceptable Roland was excellent - Nameco give him a pay rise Andy W

Questions answered clearly. Challenge was that services required a few years back were still being charged despite not being required to technology advancements.
My advice is to review your services and charges more frequently.

Namesco have excellent customer service.

Have used them for years and very good service.

Prompt response to my difficulties in a language which a mere mortal can understand!

Namesco charge £10 + VAT just to unlock your domain so you can transfer it to another registrar. This is on top of their already overpriced renewal fees. There is no technical reason for this charge — it's a pure exit penalty designed to trap customers. Avoid if you ever want the freedom to move your domain elsewhere.

I've always come back to names for domain reg and web hosting because it's reliable, reasonably priced, and surprisingly human when things are stuck. Good service and an intuitive dashboard.

Support has always been excellent from Names. On the few occasions I have contacted them, my issues were resolved same day - I do not even get this from my support team!
