I promised an update after 2 year's experience. That promise was made in 2014, so this review is a little late, but on the other hand you have the benefit of 9 years experience with the product! I'm pleased to report that the fruit-cage generally performed well, though there were the occasional niggle. These niggles were principally a poorly fitting door, the central poles coming apart, and the netting eventually developing holes. All in all, though, I am pleased with the product.

Purchased an allotment polytunnel. Quick delivery. Easy assemble after watching some YouTube tutorials. Would definitely recommend.

Five year review here- In the Alps with snowfall of 60cm/2ft at a time most winters, and the polytunnel (30*14ft) has remained impeccable. Even the original plastic is still in a decent state! I'm getting an extra 10 weeks growing season on tomatoes etc. Buy quality, and it pays you back!

Very quick delivery and a great product. The self adhesive polly tunnel guttering. So pleased with it.

Just finished erecting a 8'x10' Hobby Plus "Easy Build" Polytunnel. The Polytunnel design, sturdiness and practicality is worth 5 stars. My reduction to 4 stars is due to the guides for building (booklet & video) which are vague, assumptive, incomplete and in several cases contradictory. I lost hours of my life working out what needed to be done and watching the video frame by frame. Oh how I wished they would provide Ikea-style diagrams. "Easy Build" it ain't!

We bought a 4m x 6m field shelter, which we have found to be robust and well manufactured. Had some help to put it up only to find that some parts were missing - this was sorted out by Northern Polytunnels after a little to and fro-ing. Unfortunately, I then had to employ someone to put up the tunnel but figured it'll be worth it. Unfortunately, once up, it became clear that the cover had deteriorated down the fold line and there were some small holes in it. A further call / email to NP resulted in them deciding the damage had happened in transit. The cover has been replaced without a quibble which is fabulous, but I now have to pay someone to take down the original and put this one up! So overall, good product, disappointing quality control and customer service equivocal. Take home message, don't start assembling until you've checked you've got everything and it's all in one piece!

We are still in the process of putting up our allotment polytunnel. It’s a very exciting project but we have been surprised by lack of instructions.

I recently bought a 36' x 12' Easybuild Polytunnel from Northern Polytunnels. The product itself is of excellent quality - a very high standard of manufacture and looks to be more robust than a previous one that I had bought from another company.
The instructions to erect it are clear and the process itself is straightforward for anyone with reasonable DIY skills. The process rewards care and attention to detail, so it took me three days all in, working largely on my own - it would certainly be quicker with two people.
The company are extremely helpful and supportive on the phone and dispatch from the company was just 2 working days after I placed the order.
So why only 4 stars? Sadly NP were badly let down by the delivery company (DX). Despite everything leaving the factory together, DX decided to split up the consignment. So I received 9/10 packages in three deliveries spread over 2 days. And the tenth package? Well, it takes a special type of carelessness to lose a pack of five 11' long steel tubes weighing 20Kg - DX not only rose to the challenge but also refused to admit that they had lost them. NP had to send out new ones and in the end, the final package of the consignment arrived 1 week after the first.
Overall, I would highly recommend Northern Polytunnels, but don't plan your weekend's work until you have all the materials in your possession!

Buying the poly tunnel was straightforward with good advice by email and phone. Delivery was prompt. However, the instructions for the construction of the door frame were unclear and it was not covered at all on the video. Also, the polythene was absolutely massive - at least 4 if not 6 metres longer than needed. Building a poly tunnel on an allotment with hedges and bushes and not on an acre of flat lawn was more challenging than the video suggested, particularly with so much waste polythene.
That said, we are pleased with the end result.

I'm very happy with the service I received when requested advice regarding the construction of the tunnel. Jack was very helpful in answering my queries.
All parts were present in the delivery and the quality of the tunnel is great. I have a commercial all aluminium tunnel. The negative was the instructions. They could have been improved. Construction videos would have been helpful. Labelling of the parts would make things easier. Overall I would recommend Northern polytunnel.

Good standard of design and build. Gate screw holes are difficult to drill.
