Super disappointed
I recently purchased 'a perfect world' moisturizer and found that it has been reformulated beyond recognition. It doesn't feel the same, wear the same, not even smell the same. I should have known because they did up the spf. It was once a great moisturizer, now it's sticky, heavy goo. I'm very disappointed in origins. I'm willing to pay more for a product from a company that provides a consistent reliable product. I understand that ingredients need to be updated sometimes, but there are chemists whose job it it to make the adjustments hardly noticable. It's like they didn't even try. I tried to write a bad review and the website kept reloading when I tried to submit. Not only are their products unreliable but they hide negative reviews.

I had a gift card and returned just one item on a 100 dollar order . I have made 4 attempts with the same answer . It has been three months since I returned the 28 dollar item and no refund. I will never ever order from them again. I got bots for three attempts and they all said I would receive by November 1st then it went on and on like this, then I called and a guy said he saw the return but didn’t why it wasn’t put back on the gift card but that it would be in 10 days. Three weeks later and nothing! I have used origins for years but this experience will change …. Trying to save money on customer service to have no customer service will not work for me..

Disappointed, but service improved after this post
More of the same as a number of other reviews posted here. I ordered a number of items for a Black Friday sale. Everything that did come was great, but one item was missing. I have now committed with four different people (bots?) only one didn’t just disappear from the text chain. That one rep that stayed with me said that a confirmation email would be sent that the item was being replaced, but no email arrived, even after 3 days. I can’t spend more time on this. I’m so frustrated and now remember why I stopped ordering from origins a few years ago.
UPDATE: After emailing the company with “Trustpilot” in the subject line, the response was quick and professional. I appreciate the responsiveness through email. For those of us who cannot call in for customer service, I definitely recommend email (if you can find the address!) over the texting option.

Niet bestellen hier!
Ik baal ervan dat ik hier heb besteld. Ik wilde het bedrag behalen van 69 eu zodat ik een 10 delig minipakket zou ontvangen. 3 verschillende crèmes besteld. Bestelling afgerekend inclusief de gratis black friday cadeaupakket die stond op de bon.
Bij levering zaten er 2 vd betaalde producten in. Er stond in mijn account dat de andere product en giftset in behandeling waren.
Ineens was er geld op mijn rekening bijgeschreven. Geen mail gehad dat de rest blijkbaar was gecancelled! Ook geen gratis minipakket! Ik vind dat echt slecht.
Via whatsapp contact proberen te leggen. 1ste keer om 13.00 geappt en om 16.10 een reactie in het engels. Waarop na 7 minuten de app was afgesloten omdat ik niet op tijd reageerde.
De 2de keer weer geappt en nog steeds geen reactie.
Ik vind het erg slecht wat ze doen. Reclame maken om gratis product te krijgen. Om vervolgens niet te leveren. Hebben ze ooit gehoord van voorraad online bijhouden?
Ik zal hier niet meer bestellen.

Black Friday Trap - missing items in boxset
Ordered their Black Friday set and delivered in 4 days, which is quick. But when i open package, the boxset looks nice but when look into the box there are two major items missing! Aren't they supposing to check the boxset content before dispatching it to customers? Have sent email to them(as no one I can get hold of in their webchat nor phone), but auto replies say within 72 hours for their customer services team to reply which is not so helpful... I seriously disappointed with this brand and their services, they might got a good deal for Black Friday but that have trapped me and now as customer I need to spend more time to deal with their mess.

Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. It is literally impossible to get the people on the online chat to take care of an issue. They leave you hanging and take several minutes for each response, asking you again and again to repeat the same information. Then, after all that, they don’t even do what you’re asking!!!! Unreal. I will NEVER shop with this company again, especially considering there are far better (and more natural) products out there that don’t screw up your skin!!

Think I've been scammed
Ordered a special offer for the plantscription and eye cream. There were two other products in the pack, so thought I had a good deal. However I received my package with no eye cream which normally costs £24 so I have been majorly ripped off by this company. I've sent an email and will be happy to update this review if the response is positive, but right now, I feel like I've been scammed. Such a shame because I love the products, but if this doesn't get sorted they will lose my custom and not get another penny from me.

Helaas ook ik heb slechte ervaringen met dit bedrijf. Deel van bestelling is geannuleerd zonder reden of bericht. Als je belt wordt de verbinding altijd verbroken na een stom verhaal van een bandje. Maakt niet uit welke optie je probeert. Mailen ook geprobeerd, krijg niet eens een reactie. Nu nogmaals hetzelfde product besteld en weer zonder bericht een deel vd bestelling geannuleerd.
Super slechte service en nog slechter bereikbaar. Dan zie je maar dat als het beleid van een bedrijf slecht is dat je hele bedrijf kan verzieken. Triest!

Terrible experience but received a reasonable solution later
Updated: after a long conversation with customer escalate team, I got a refund. The escalate team is more helpful regarding responding a complaint and providing a solution. Thank you for that
Origins is very unprofessional and kind of fraud. I ordered a super save set including 7 items. The parcel was received 7 working days later. However, I just received 4 and 3 paper ingredient lists instead of 3 actual things. I called, contacted via chat, email. They promised to sent another replacement set. But after 5 days, I still haven't received it and so contacted them again. And they let me know that it's not dispatched at all yet until I contacted. If I did not ask for tracking information, they would completely forgot and I would never get the replacement. By purchase money from customer and not sending product to them, Origins just steal money from customer. It's completely a fraud and deceitful act. Really unprofessional and unacceptable

Tinted Moisturizer is like WET PAINT on your face ALL DAY
I tried their tinted moisturizer.
Coverage= NONE
Absorption to skin= NONE
Customer service = NONE
What’s humiliating is that it never absorbed into my skin. As a result, when I hugged my husband AFTEr 8 HOURS of wear it smeared all over his suit.
When I took my clothes off at the end of the night, it got all over my dress too.
My dry cleaner doesn’t think she can get it out as my dress and his shirt are white!
I may as well have been walking around with wet paint on my face all day!
Customer service is a bot that tries to get you to order more of this garbage.
If you plan to replace your wardrobe weekly, then I guess this product is for you!

Karen in the Westfarms (Farmington, CT) store is very knowledgeable and helpful. She makes sure that I know when my favorite products are on special and spends time with me to explain new products. I can't believe she was able to recognize me wearing a mask and a year after our last visit. Store is beautiful as well.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Needed to cancel order. No way to do it online. Had to call customer service. Started at 8am. 1st rep said he’d take care of it. Had to call 4 times. Each rep told me they would cancel it and didn’t understand why the last one didn’t. Horrible service. Horrible online ordering. Beware of giving them your money.

Ook ik heb hele slechte ervaringen met Origins (Estee Lauder Companies). Ik heb maar een deel van mijn bestelling geleverd gekregen. Wanneer ik probeer te bellen wordt het gesprek automatisch beëindigd na een
informatie verhaaltje. De klantenservice is niet te pakken te krijgen. Wanneer ik een e-mail stuur, krijg ik een automatisch antwoord met een excuses voor het late antwoord, maar verder niet.
Ik wil mijn producten. Ik ben dol op deze producten, maar zal ze in het vervolg bij Douglas bestellen.

Had one delivery with a damaged bottle, I’ve sent more than one email explaining about the damaged goods but never had a response. It’s nearly 2 months ago now so I can safely say I am not going to get any type of support regarding the broken bottle. If you are reading this you know the cost of these products, too much money to throw down the drain which I feel I have 😡

Ordered 4 items from the Origins’ website for my wife’s birthday. Order went through ok and received the order about a week later. All good.
Opened the box and only 1 of the 4 items was in the box. Phoned up the helpline and the person, albeit polite, was absolutely no help. She said ‘yeh sometimes the website and the stock levels don’t match up!’, and I should have received an email. That was the only explanation! Checked my email and nothing......
She said I would get refunded within 14 days! 14 days? I used PayPal! Are they sending me a check? If money can go out immediately, why can’t it come back immediately?
Anyway, I received the money back in my account, but it was only for 1 of the items. Money for 2 other items which they didn’t deliver (she said they were out of stock) hasn’t been refunded. Luckily I checked!
So, I went to call them at 17:30 on a Monday. Their helpline is closed, with a message saying their helpline closed at 18:00? It was 17:30.
So, I need to call them during the working day but before 17:30, when I should be working!
Just Terrible!!!
On a more positive note, I ordered the missing item, that my wife really wanted from Next and it arrived the next day!
Conclusion - be more like Next and less like Origins....sheesh!

I have been using Origins for more than 20 years. I love their products. I hate their online store and customer service. Do not order from them directly.
My last 3 orders directly from Origins has been worse than bad. The last order placed on 12/22/2020 still has not arrived. I just checked again, and UPS said they received an empty box to ship to me, and contacted Origins. Did I hear from them? No. It is 1/17/2021. I love their products but do not order from them directly. They have the worst customer service!!!!

Shockingly bad. I ordered item on 24th Dec. It still not appeared rang up it's out of stock and it's mid January. They have kept my money all this time. Asked for refund told will take 5 days. Don't use incompetent. They should have refunded me when out if stock. They said they would refund me spoke 15th Jan. Now 28th having to pursue via PayPal. Seriously bad customer service. I am annoyed. Another phone call refund still not processed. Said will process today. Update I got my refund
