I purchased an outwell dreamboat double mattress, when I was approaching an age when I was done with thin mattresses and just wanted a decent night sleep went camping.
This was a significant investment. It’s about a third of the cost of our main double mattress which came with a 10 year guarantee (and gets slept on every single night).
Despite being very comfortable, it only ever lasted a handful of camping trips before it developed a leak. It sat in the garage until the day finally came when I tried to repair it. Well out of warranty by now, I discovered that the leak came from one of the AFC valves. These valves are completely sealed units and completely unrepairable. You can’t access or replace any of the parts (apart from the plastic lever). To replace it properly, I’ve had to cut out the valve and replace with a different valve. Upon cutting out the AFC valve, I can see the little rubber seal had a kink, and was stuck in the valve opening, allowing air in and out at all times. This is such incredibly bad design. Repairability, especially with products that are made out of hard-to-recycle materials, should be at the forefront of any good product design. And so disappointing for such an expensive product. I won’t be purchasing an outwell camping mat again any time soon - though I do wonder how many of these have ended up in landfill because of these bespoke, unrepairable valves.

I bought a Outwell Montana air6 in January this year. I started using it constantly from April till now when the air tube burst through the top of the tent in June. I've been told by Outwell that the tent has become weakened by UV. This is only 9 weeks of use. All Outwell tents of this type are not sufficiently strengthened above the air tubes. Be aware that your tents are likely to fail up to or after 9 weeks of use. This maybe the following year as you come towards this time. I've talked to the seller and Outwell and there is no refund available. So when you by a tent from this supposedly great company go buy a garden shed instead. It's not worth the money you are going to lose. The clock is ticking people!!

The poles I ordered were very expensive.
I would also note that there was no update on when the poles were going to be delivered
