On boarding process is needlessly complicated. There seems to be no respect for the privacy of clients (which has resulted in me basically being harassed on the telephone, getting woken up and constantly repeating myself not to be calling on my mobile without a mutually arranged appointment). There seems also to be a poor level of ownership and awareness from employees of this organisation. As had they been looking around and considering a bigger picture with some form of context, I would’ve been spared all of this invasion and needless delays. Instead, they took a default position of just looking on the end of their noses and reacting in a way that suited them more conveniently and easily (with no real thought forthcoming accordingly). So I found myself taking the entire burden and brunt of what were mechanical mistakes with their portal, a poor level of awareness from staff, a total lack of respect for my privacy and peace as well as payment that still isn’t forthcoming several weeks late. The matter is now a formal complaint. So the timing of asking for this review was not very good, much like the service so far. Disappointing and totally unnecessary.

Parasol saved me when my client went insolvent

Absolutely brilliant service. Three months into a contract my client went insolvent and I received no pay. Without Parasol I would have been left with nothing. Their support team were fantastic at every step and made sure I received the safety net payment, which was a lifesaver.

Been with them for a while now and no issues. Prabhjot was very helpful regarding my Paternity pay.

Good experience

Jacob was really great on the phone with me. He was polite and really seemed keen on helping, even though they were by the end of their shift, He never made me feel rushed at all. Both him and Sophie did their best to pass this on to the relevant team in order to solve payment delays and transfers of funds issues from a different umbrella, so thank you to both for helping.

This is my second employment contract with Parasol and I couldn't be happier. I've had a few queries since I started 3 weeks ago and each time Hollie has been an absolute superstar! She is quick to respond, really knowledgeable about a wide range of subjects and has great customer service skills. Nothing is too much trouble - Hollie is an amazing ambassador for Parasol!

On changing to Parasol I have had issues with HMRC and Tax Codes (this is no reflection on Parasol). HMRC had made assumption's on my employment. Prabhjot Kaur (Senior Payroll & Pensions Administrator) has provided information and assistance with this matter, and thanks to Prabhjot.

I called Parasol this morning as I had made a timesheet error and Laura was brilliant in dealing with my problem. Polite and efficient and made it very easy. Also she answered all my questions very efficiently.

So quick and so simple but with loads of deeper dive if you need or want it 👍🏽
