AVOID! Signed up for free subscription to look for a specific photo editing functionality. Their product did not meet my specific needs. I unsubscribed and deleted the app. The company are still taking subscription charges from my account dispute multiple communications on the topic.

Scammers! They keep charging even after you cancel the subscription.

Photoleap wants to force me to pay twice to start using my laptop for the service when they say I can use my subscription on an additional devise. THAT IS A COMPLETE LIE. Photoleap wants me to start a completely separate paid subscription for each and every devise that I use. It refuses to acknowledge my IOS subscription on my laptop and only provides away to start a separate subscription. Pretty scammy

I did a free trial, I unsubscribed it in time, and they still charged me. Then I went to unsubscribe again and they try to trick you to click on 'keep subscription' by making the button more prominent and where logically, the confirm unsubscription button should be.
Edit: they gave me the refund after writing to their customer service, so I am glad about that.

Don't do it!

They lure you in with a free trial subscription, but then you still need to pay for any actual generation. But the worst is that once you go through with the trial, they basically hide any way of unsubscribing without actually going through the paywall. Dodgy, deceptive company.

Do not sign up to no trial. Have reported them to Apple and have also managed to update the card used so they cannot take any funds from my credit card. I will also go a step ahead and report them to fbi.

False advertising with there free trial all intended to get your card information and never let you cancel.

They took 10 x $69 charges in a 24 hour period from my bank account... Had to contact the bank to cancel. I checked on their login and it said "you do not have an active subscription"!!! No record of transactions in apple pay or paypal so have gotten my bank details somehow and bypassed - or ripped out the money and cancelled it. I have no idea. The are not responding to my emails. So somehow they scammed me $690 and not sure I can get it back. Do NOT engage with this company. I have reported them to Apple

Disgusting scummy scammers

This is abhorrent, I hope they get criminally sued. Not only is the service some generic ripoff that is not worth $1 a year. But they seem to not let me log into the site with my email to cancel the subscription, maybe just a glitch.

I went to my paypal to look at the subscription to cancel it from there, and look what it says:

"Photoleap Pro yearly subscription: 7-day free trial followed by a recurring billing of CA$55.00/year. You can cancel your subscription 72 hours before your next payment."

These disgusting creatures claim they will give you a notice on the 5th day to remind you in case you need to cancel. But it was a joke all along, because it will already be too late! You can't cancel within 2 days (48hrs). They're just wanting to ensure that you go past their cancellation policy period so they can take your money without letting you cancel. All while they pretend that you could cancel anytime before the free trial ends. They'll even send you such a thoughtful reminder once there's 2 days left.

Scumbags

After agreeing to the free trial I immediately cancelled it via my phone under ‘subscriptions (iPhone) so there should have been no charge. Since then, they have repeatedly tried to take exactly £40 from my bank without fail every couple of days. I’ve ended up trying to request a stop with my bank as I cannot cancel it

Tried to sign up for a free trial but refused to use my American Express. I tried to use a prepaid card to be safe. Won't accept so I suspect a scam.

The app during the free trial was pretty fun to use… I signed up for the trial after being told I’d be charged monthly around $6 per month and could cancel at an time for any reason. This sounded like a low risk offer to me as I figured that the worst case scenario I’d only have a small sum of money leave my account at any stage.

Unfortunately after my week trial expired I was charged for 12 months - not one. I proceeded to request a refund from Apple, but as the payment wasn’t made via them they couldn’t refund me, so I tried Photoleap directly. They produced a claim number for me, but never contacted me back. There is no support number, and their social media is entirely automated leaving you with no way to request and track a refund or talk to someone about any other alternative.

I’ve been charged almost 12 times what I was expecting, and have consequently had a direct debit that I had accurately budgeted for bounce as a result… and so far I’ve not as much as had a human being respond to me and have had no advice as to when or even if my refund request is being processed.

Dreadful rip off, DO NOT SIGN UP TO FREE TRIAL. I ended up paying an annual subscription that I couldn’t stop through apple. Sneaky, don’t try!!!!!

After reading the reviews I realised I should’ve read them earlier. Seems to be happening to everyone. After the 7 day free trial, I got no notification that they would be continuing the subscription as when signing up it said I would have the option 48 hours before. However, I on day 7 had the full yearly payment of £40 taken out my account. Immediately disputed it with my bank and emailed their customer service. No reply. Waited a week. Still no reply so sent a second email. After a week my bank refunded me. No communication from them still. Make sure to set a reminder to cancel.

I got the app a week ago for a 7 day trial which was up today but yesterday they took £40 from my account, I did not even use the app there was no where to cancel as it was not in my google store, anyway I emailed them this morning and they have refunded me and sent the refund invoice so quite happy with that

Real scam, I was promised a free trial and I got charged without notice, been trying to contact customer service but response!!

There was no free trial as advertised. Scam.

Use this for 1 weeks free trial, I cancelled it straight away as didn’t won’t to subscribe ..when it expired it tried to take the yearly subscription.. but fortunately my bank stopped it and contacted me ..
If the bank hadn’t stopped it I probably wouldn’t have known..
So I would avoid this company .. if you sign up they will still take your money

It is impossible to use the service and even find out what it can do without leaving your card details. I suspect it's a scam. Because no quality service will hide its product capabilities before buying.

Signed up for the 7 day free trial and was immediately charged £36.99 now trying to go through PayPal to get my money back as they have provided false information and taken money without consent. Avoid.
