Great tools for scanning and restoring old photos
Easy to install, understand features, use and organize scanned pictures. User-friendly interface and communication with phone and laptop, although the link provided via email not always working. Scanning is easy, delivering good picture quality. Access to AI restoration and enhancements features is very helpful when restoring old and damaged originals. AI restoration features work well in general. Couple of shortfalls: scratches and tears feature not always helpful, almost always requires multiple runs, often generating more scratches images in new areas. Sometimes needed several attempts still without results. Face and blurr restoration work well in general, but sometimes changing eyes impression. Fix multiple issues tool is especially useful. Although, randomly generating dresses clothes and some time skin colors. Would be nice to having an option for changing generated colors. Face generation works well only for larger and cleaner images. But for smaller, blurry and damaged images seems like face is replaced with images from the general database. In my case it was always not even close. Would be great to having an option to adding images to use for restoration. In a summery: very good tools, I’m satisfied with results of using it, essentially for restoring old, damaged, bad quality pictures.

half the time when I rotate a picture, it doesn't save it until the second, third or fourth attempt. I've also had it delete pics that should not have gone away, and I don't see how I can re-order photos in an album. I'd also like to add the story where I want it, rather than have it blocking part of the picture I need.
After the response team saw my message they were very helpful in letting me know how to re-order (at least on the phone app - I haven't tried it yet on my computer) and pointed out that the "story should not be blocking the picture. I expect it only blocks while viewing in the app. When downloaded, the story is a separate file, so that's fine. The deletion may be pilot error - as I'm not sure what happens when I've modified a photo (although I usually duplicate first). I still have trouble with rotations.

Hi Ruth, we’re really sorry you’ve been having such a frustrating experience. Having to repeat the same action several times, or seeing photos disappear when you weren’t expecting them to, can understandably take away from the experience, and we’d really like to help.
There is a way to reorder photos within an album. Open the album and, on iOS, tap the three dots in the top-right and choose “Reorder photos.” On Android, long-press a photo and select “Reorder photos.” From there, you can simply drag your photos into the order you’d like and save.
As for the story/details blocking part of your photo, that shouldn’t be happening, so we’d really like to understand exactly what you’re seeing. We’d also like to look into the rotation and missing-photo issues you mentioned.

Easy to use app
Easy to use app. User friendly and a good value for the money. I’ve restored some old pictures and have almost cried they look so great. I feel like I’m stepping back in time looking at my Grandmother’s picture restored.

I love the app
I love the app. I have done hundreds of picture , which means I was able to eliminate all those boxes and albums that were falling apart or just taking up space with old pictures. I have used the tools that come with the product to improve the picture. Even added the video part and watched pictures from 1950 come alive My only complaint is the glare that occurs sometimes

Digitising the family photo archive
I have been using Photomyne to digitise all the old family slides dating back to the 1960s. It's is a very big job but Photomyne has been very good in producing good quality copies. It is also excellent on the old photographs. I like being able to coy the backs in the one capture and put in captions.

Family Matters
I'm the historian in my family, so being able to digitize and organize decades of family photo albums has been so much easier with Photomyne. Impossible to use + charged when I cancelled subscription
As many people here it seems I've been charged the annual fee after the trial period even though I contacted thel to cancel before it ended. The cancel subscription button mentioned to reach out to them to cancel. Do not do like me and contact them expecting a response because they will never respond through email.
Now I've been charged 65€ for an app that I cannot even use due to the amounts of lags there is in there. I cannot even scan a photo without it shutting down or being extremely slow. I've tried to reinstall it, nothing worked. Please beware

Photomyne has never let me down
I have been using Photomyne for at least 8 years. What attracted me to use it was the ability to directly scan old photos from family photo albums without removing them from the album page. I found it to be quick, accurate, and it very much improved the old photos. Although I use a scanner now, I find the Photomyne is especially good for scanning old Polaroid photographs that are very thick and jam my scanner. And as I said, it does a great job of improving the quality of the photos. And one more thing that it does an outstanding job is colorizing. black and white family photos.

I bought photomyne six months ago with a oromise to myself to get to those photos hanging out in albums.
I had the opportunity to use the app on some rather old photos in albums. The scan was amazing. I shared tgen with a family member to turn into a slide show for a 70th anniversary reunion. Although the pictures are clear when we tried to play them as a slide show on a laptop they were all blurry and distorted. I have not had time to troubleshoot but wondered if anyone else had any suggestions on what to do?

Best App ever
If I could only have one app for photos this would be it. Have been using this for many years, have scanned every photo album I have, all my children have access to all their photos at anytime and I’m no longer scared my house will burn down and I will lose all my photos from past generations as they are all on Photomyne who care for them.
