From stepping into the Chertsey Pizza Express for my daughters 5th birthday on Tuesday, we we welcomed with big smiles from the very friendly staff. My family and I were amazed with a wonderful waiter (Jordie) he truly made the whole experience amazing, not only was he very patient with our change in orders , he was friendly , smiley and understood the situation with us having 4 young kids and made it extremely easy by being his great self.
Usually a night out at a restaurant can be a bit of a chore, however, due to the wonderful staff at this branch/restaurant, my wife and i were actually able to relax and enjoy our very well presented meal.
To top it all off, the Chocolate Sundae which my daughter still talks about really made her night.
I want to say a special thanks to Jordie and the staff at Chertsey Pizza Express. Thank you all for the wonderful night , Jordie you are a true asset to the company, I hope your manager will flag this to the chairman and recognise how skilled you truly are .

Good atmosphere nice pizza polo Astra the restaurant clean good food thank you to the chef as well waiter

I actually received a very poor leggara pizza with little topping and very dry .
I explained to the first server that it wasn’t the usual standard only to be told it was supposed to be less than 600 calories hence it didn’t have much topping !
Another lady called Erin then asked how our meals were and I explained again how disappointed I was .
She immediately apologised and offered a new one which I accepted . What a difference . It was beautiful and nothing like the one before .
Erin was an excellent example of good customer service and I would go again because of her approach . Sadly the other person was exactly the opposite !

Very disappointed that my 16 year old suffered a bait and switch scam at pizza express Epsom. He was induced to book a table on a 40% discount then when he arrived was given the standard menu and once he realised they said it was too late to have the deal.

Very sharp practices against a child.

We had a table booked for 530pm yesterday Sun 5th October, we were seated and it took 45 minutes to take our drink order, another 30 minutes for our food order, which then arrived 40 minutes later.
Whilst around 15 take away delivery people arrived to collect telephone orders.
We were treated very poorly, the staff looked bored and could not be bothered to make your visit worthwhile.
First and last visit, spoilt a 16th birthday meal, and the prices are a rip off too, best avoided

Pizza Express Banstead

Was served by Faruq who went above and beyond. Was very helpful and patient and help download the app and showed us how to use. Explained all the different options. An asset to you company and gave 100% service with care and a big smile. Well done Faruq and thank you. Sue & Sian.

Had an amazing server by the name of Hen, made the whole thing an amazing experience and overall enjoyable. The food was delicious and came out decently quick and was overall great at Southend's pizza express - came on the 27th sept at around 1pm.

We were served by Sandra at kings lynn. Food was good service outstanding .

Really good and super efficient and communicative service from Emma in the new restaurant in Redhill, Surrey. Top class.

We came on a Sunday around 5:30pm to Pizza Express in Bristol, Southgate. The restaurant was completely empty (I’ve uploaded pictures to show this), yet the staff refused to let us sit in the open area. Instead, they wanted my mother, who is in a wheelchair, to sit pushed into a corner where she could not even move.

This is unacceptable and felt like mistreatment of a disabled customer. When we explained, the staff were not helpful at all. In the end, we decided not to stay and eat.

Pizza Express should take this matter seriously and ensure that disabled people are treated with dignity and given the same access as everyone else.

Delicious food and outstanding service from Sebastian, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. He engaged us in genuine conversation, surprised us with complimentary extras, and even chased after us when we accidentally left a cap behind. A real credit to Pizza Express, and we wish him every success in his future career.

Always enjoy the food in this place and the service is always great too lots of different variety options of vegetarian food which really suits me always go back

I’m so disappointed I drove to Cabot circus to go to pizza express paid for parking got to the restaurant less than half full got table to then be told it would be at least half hour wait for pizza because they had to many Deliveroo orders shame on you pizza express I thought you were a restaurant not takeaway with some seating you’re pizzas are best in the restaurant crap when shoved into a dirty bag belonging to who no”s sweating conjilling cheese home delivery instead of customers in the restaurant buying drinks starters and desserts tipping your staff?

Just had a family lunch at Pizza Hut Headingley and rare you get genuinely good customer service so wanted to mention our waiter Jack. Really easy going, friendly and all round nice bloke. We will definitely be back and recommend.

I bought a BBQ Chicken Pizza Express from a supermarket, and oh dear ... it as dreadful! It was sooo sweet, there was so much sugar, syrup, sucrose etc in it and it tasted dreadful. I don't know what was in it but when I read the ingredients, there were so many , and you know what they say about that! Pizza Express need to get their act together and not keep selling all this appalling rubbish.

We had the most wonderful experience thanks to Mima, who truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. Our son, who is autistic, was having a difficult time when we arrived, and Mima immediately stepped in with such kindness and intuition. She gently engaged him in conversation, asking what he’d like to order, and made sure his meal came out first — a small gesture that made a huge difference in helping him settle.

Throughout the evening, Mima was attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly supportive. She answered our questions, checked in regularly, and made sure we were enjoying our meal. When our son finished eating and began to get a little restless, Mima noticed straight away and invited him to help her prepare his dessert. Watching them chat and seeing the joy on his face when he returned to the table was truly heartwarming.

As we were leaving, our son turned to us and said, “She brightened my day.” That simple sentence says it all. Dining out can often be a stressful experience for our family, depending on how the environment affects our son. But Mima’s care and attentiveness lifted that weight entirely. She created a space where we could relax, enjoy our food, and feel truly welcomed.

We’re so grateful to her and want to thank her from the bottom of our hearts — she turned what could have been a challenging evening into a joyful one. Thank you, Mima. You made a lasting impression on our family. It is such a shame we do not live closer, as we would definitely become 'regulars' if we did.
We really hope Pizza Express also truly appreciates the hard work Mima puts in.

I booked a table at Basildon to celebrate my son's exam results yesterday. It's not our local restaurant but we were in the area. We arrived and explained that we were there for the unlimited deal, (after phoning Pizza Express to check that the deal was on all day) only to be told they had stopped it that day, as "The chefs didn't want to carry on doing it today". Was staggered to be honest, so left. Won't be back.

Always a great experience at Pizza Express. The pizza was delicious, cooked just right, and full of flavor. The team were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Lovely atmosphere too. Definitely recommend and looking forward to visiting again.

We ate at P.E. Canterbury on Saturday evening. We were served by a young lady who was worthy of us taking this time to write this review. We are sorry we didn’t ask her name but if we say that she told us she had been to Folkestone beach that day and had worked for P.E. for four years. That must help you to identify her. She deserves a commendation.

Anyway, she was a delight and, although the food was okay and served quickly, the experience was better than that thanks to her and her service.
