I've had this condition all of my life and nobody seemed willing to help until my dermatologist recommended RA Fischer to me. After the first week of treatment, I noticed a vast improvement of my condition and I can now go 5 - 6 weeks sweat free!! What a difference this product has made in my life. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone suffering from hyperhidrosis.

This device is life changing! I started iontophoresis13 or 14 years ago and never looked back. True, it's a little time consuming and a little uncomfortable but well worth it as it is the only effective method I've found for controlling my hyperhidrosis. And believe me, I've tried all the topical medications. Not effective at all. My first RA Fischer device is still going strong after many, many years. Purchased the newer model and am very pleased with the upgraded features. Great customer service as well!

I've been satisfied with my RA Fischer Iontophoresis machine. It has helped my palmar and plantar HH significantly. Not completely, but significantly. I do add glycopyrrolate to the water for my treatments and sometimes I find it's not working as well as it used to and I just up the frequency of my treatments. My experience with the RA Fischer company was not as positive, hence my 3 stars. I was trying to get insurance reimbursement for the machine I purchased and they were supposed to submit some forms and I stopped hearing back totally from the person I had been dealing it. Poor customer service.

Wonderful customer service! So far I've seen great results from the Iontophoresis machine I bought. I've been using it on my feet and armpits. My hands no longer sweat because I had ETS surgery but I wish someone had suggested RA Fischer to me so I could have tried this treatment out before having surgery.

I've been able to do yoga without using a towel under my feet for the first time in my life! At first only the bottoms of my feet were getting dry, but Jessica explained to me that adding more water is okay to treat the top and sides of my feet. The sweating under my armpits has lessened--I'm still hoping it'll stop more by using the machine more. It takes time but if you stick with it, progress should happen!

I started with my hands on the lowest setting (5ma) and was only able to do 9 minutes. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt a little dizzy afterwards. I think I was not expecting the feeling - as if my hands fell asleep and could not stop tingling. However, I was determined to stick with it. I worked my way up to 30 minutes at 5mA and then I was eventually able to work up to the recommended 15mA and therefore lower the time to 20min. After about 15 sessions at 15mA for 20 min, I was completely dry. I never thought I would see the day. Not even botox got me that dry. I'm still in disbelief actually. I never thought I would feel normal, sweating became my normal. I'm still amazed at the situations I'm in now where normally I would be trying to find an excuse not to touch someone (even a simple high five) and now I can act like a normal human. And by the way, same with my feet. I can actually wear sandals now without sliding all around. And I don't have to change my socks multiple times during the day when I wear shoes. It's amazing!
One thing I suggest that I learnt with trial and error is to go above the water line. In the tray there is a line you have to fill the water to, but I noticed my whole hand and foot wasn't being covered (spots where I sweat) and therefore those areas were not being treated and still sweating. That's when I ignored the water line and went as high as I could. There is no increase in discomfort just more coverage in treatment. I also noticed when I was following the water line for my feet it was hitting my cuticles and the pain was unbearable. They say to put Vaseline on those parts, but I decided to raise the water to where it wouldn't hit the cuticles, and that worked perfectly and gave me more treatment coverage.

All in all, if you are on the fence about this product.. please go for it! It changed my life. I was so depressed before, never being able to find a solution and trying to come to terms with how horrible my quality of life was. I can't believe how long I waited to get the RA Fisher, but it was honestly the best decision I ever made.

RA Fischer has everything available to make the purchase easy. The unit and accessories are of good quality and well made. I have used a homemade device for a couple of years and wanted the options of the MD-2 for ease of use and have been pleased with the results. For anyone suffering with this condition and have exhausted the alternatives this definitely works. In every sense of the phrase it is life changing to be able to confidently shake with dry hands, work with electronics with less concern of shock, and in general feel more confident in all situations.

The only reason for 4 stars is the price, but it's still worth it.

This is the only method that has worked for my feet. I have tried Botox, creams, and medication with nothing working. I would highly recommend this device.

This machine has absolutely made such a great impact on my life! I can’t explain how absolutely grateful I am for RA Fischer and their iontophoresis machine! I no longer have random sweat outbursts and I’m so much happier with life! It makes every day life so much easier for me knowing I don’t have to worry about leaving a pool of sweat from my hands and being able to wear shoes I want to! I can’t thank this machine enough for changing my life!

Said they would help with my insurance reimbursement before I purchased it. After I purchased the device, have not heard back from the person that said they will help me with my insurance reimbursement. Sent them numerous emails and been months still haven’t helped me out. They replied quick when they were trying to sell their product, but never responded to my emails after I purchased.

Honestly it does sting and you do have to use it often initially but after about 2 weeks your hands should be dry. I did break out with a rash on the bottom of the hands but I'll gladly take that over sweaty hands.

Device is working great so far. It took roughly 2 weeks to begin taking effect. Started with 10 minute treatment at 5v for 2 treatments every two days. Then moved into 10,15 , and finally 20V treatments over the course of two weeks for 20 minutes each day. Tough at first because it irritates your skin. Now I do it at 20V every week, once a week to maintain results with the (high1 setting bumped up by 5v). Was skeptical at first but it works great and the company has been extremely helpful with guidance and working with me and insurance.

Omg I cant thank them enough. Erica and Sarah were there for me answered all my questions and supported me. Even during my first treatment I was kind of scared to do Sarah stayed with me on the phone and walked me through it. The customer support is way beyond nice. Thank you soo much. Now as for the device if u suffer from hyperhidrosis of the hands and feet it is worth every penny, regardless ur insurance pays for it or not. I have been using it less than two weeks now and I already see results. You wont regret it trust me. The only thing I regret is I didn't buy this sooner. Thanks so much RA Fischer. I had really bad sweating in my hands and feet all my life. I tried everything from lotions, to medications, acupuncture, and even my own homemade iontophoresis machine, and nothing seemed to be working. I had just accepted the fact that excessive sweating was going to be a part of my life. Years later, I decided to start looking for answers again. I found that the Fischer iontophoresis machine was highly recommended and effective in treating hyperhidrosis in the hands and feet. I was a little skeptical at first, but was willing to give it a try, since i could return it for my money back if it didn’t work. After about 2 weeks, I noticed a significant difference in my hand sweating. They used to sweat all over and it was difficult to stop the sweat if it started. Now, they only sweat a little bit on the tips of the fingers, but it goes away within minutes. There has definitely been a reduction in my feet sweat, but I believe that if I continue to treat my feet daily, that they will become as dry as my hands eventually.
