Me vendieron una membresia en el hotel que me hospedaba, el cual tenia afilacion con esta empresa RCI.com 3 semanas supuestamente "Gratis" a cualquier parte del extranjero +500 usd approx por cargos.
En la informacion venian muchos hoteles muy buenos, 3 de ellos fueron por los que hice la compra de la membresia.
Pero a la hora de reservar tienes que poner tu "Semana/creditos" con bastante anticipacion

Ahora lo malo
la lista de espera es eterna...
hidden fees...
all inclusive a mayor costo...
Espero sacar minimo a mano con lo que pague.

I bought RCI in March 2023 and they sold me that it had great discounts on cruises, hotels, car rental and it's all a lie, i trying to get discount and never found one using RCI,THIS IS SCAM COMPANY AVOID RCI

Everything that RCI said had discounts you could get directly at the same price.

Don't buy RCI, I'm going to hire a lawyer so they don't charge me more and I have a lot of evidence of fraud

No caigan en este tiempo compartido, son rateros. Cancelan un hotel y después te dicen que ya se te venció el rembolso que tenías. Ha pero eso si quieren que renueves tu memebresia. En vdd no caigan. Te sale mas barato los hoteles cuando tú haces la reservación directamente en el hotel.

We have been trying to get accommodation for 4 years and RCI still don't have any availability. Although we have timeshare weeks space banked we still cannot get availability. We are also happy to purchase the weeks accommodation if this is their preferred option... but no availability. We have been member for +30 years.
RCI used to contact us when they had availability for our search/requests. We spend so much in fees they suggested we upgrade to Platinum membership and this would give us more options however, after upgrading, no improvement, we very unhappy with the way this once amazing company is now been run, where is all this accommodation going, if people cannot get availability to any request even thought its a 1 year in advance that its been requested ?.

Everything you read here is accurate, this is an outdated business model, not in the least interested in customer experience, displays zero loyalty to existing ‘members’ charges additional fees for every part of the process and favours itself in every conflict. They pulled out of ‘representing’ my timeshare (ie do nothing and charge for the privilege), threatened to cancel the one last, legitimate booking I made if I didn’t renew full membership for another year, despite them not representing me for ten months of that year. So they can have that week I paid for back, with no refund of booking fee and smirk all the way to their bank. I would rather rebook with a decent, honourable company than these charlatans. Avoid.

Gracias por los comentarios, estaba a punto de enrolarme con esta empresa pero afortunadamente decidí revisar reviews primero. Lastima q estas empresas actúen DE ESA MANERA y en impunidad

This is the worst scam ever ! Nothing is ever available , everything available is crap hotel’s that would be cheaper booking direct ! We all need to get good attorneys and do a class action lawsuit against this scam ! We paid over 3500 for what equals out as 3 day stay at the holiday inn

Tras haber realizado una reserva a principios de mayo y pedir confirmación del precio del todo incluido, nos incrementan un mes después de tener todo reservado 300€ porque había un fallo en la oferta escudándose de que la culpa es del hotel y no suya y que ellos no pueden hacer nada.

Cuando son ellos los que nos ofrecen los precios de reserva. En la información de la reserva el precio del todo incluido le dejan bien claro, el normal y el que nos aplica por la promoción.

No obstante, les pedí confirmación de que el precio era correcto y me lo notificaron tanto por teléfono como por email, que el precio del todo incluido para socios de RCI era el que ponía en la reserva y ahora vienen con estas.

Huir de estos estafadores que solo te dan la opción de devolverte el dinero de la reserva cuando en nuestras fechas ya está todo ocupado y tenemos los vuelos cogidos.

Ya he contactado al email pero todavía sin respuesta

SCAM…I have been a member of RCI (Scam) going on 10+ years. Have deposited numerous weaks from Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach equalling 88 unused trading points. Problem is u can never use your points for an “in season” destination. Meaning u CANNOT GO TO THE CARRIBEAN WHENS ITS WINTER IN THE US OR GO SKIING IN VAIL WHEN ITS SNOWING. ALL PER THE NEGATIVE RESULTS ON THEIR WEBSITE AND SPEAKING WITH THEIR REPS. DISASTER; AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Stayed with, and RCI property named Wyndham Sea Gardens in Pompano Beach. It was a terrible experience. Customer service at check-in was terrible. The rooms were disgusting, and no keys were given to me til four hours later. Therefore, we cannot get an Therefore, we cannot get into our room. We had babies with us and had to wait outside in the heat for four hours. All they cared about was to sell me another timeshare or upsell a timeshare. I do not recommend this property to anybody. I called RCI to complain and they said they could not do anything about it because the property is in charge of their own stuff so please do not book here this is a terrible place.

Yo fui iniciador cuando empezaba RCI, era otra cosa, una empresa seria y honesta, ahora son todo lo contrario, ladrones con corbata, estan totalmente desacreditados, jamas volvere a hacer algun tipo de intercambio con ustedes , si alguien ve mi comentario tengan mucho cuidado pues aparte de cobrar el intercambio ahora te cobran otras cosas al llegar a algun destino turistico " CUIDADO CON ESTOS ESTAFADORES "

Stay away from RCI or any timeshares, RCI has terrible customer service.

Una vez que realice el depósito ya no contestan! te manda a buzón.
Cancele el paquete y no me han depositado.
Es un fraude.

CHEAT IS THE WORD I CAN USE TO DESCRIBE RCI AND THEIR WORKERS.....TO GET THE RCI RENEWED THEY WILL TELL U ALL LIES AND ONCE U ARE ENROLLED AND NOW U CANNOT GET NOTHING WHAT WAS PROMISED....

I have owned a time share for 18 years. I signed up with RCI the first two years and realized it was useless. I couldn't ever get a week to exchange that was comparable to the unit/resort I owned and the fees they charge are ridiculous. I signed up again last year and banked two years of my timeshare. I have had the same experience but worse. If I don't renew for another year I can't use the property I reserve because my membership will be inactive according to Alex- the representative I spoke to who also could not give me his last name, employee number, a supervisor, email contact, etc. They also have a horrible cancellation policy. If you don't pay for cancellation insurance then they take 100% of the fees paid even if they are for services that won't be used because you are cancelling. I will never use RCI again.

I have been a member of RCI since 1982 when you traded a week for a week and everything was fine. Then came the point system and Wyndham corp. When they went to the point system it screwed over everyone who had weeks. People would come in and use their points for the weekend which took the whole week away from weekly owners. I feel that the resorts that were on the week plan should not have been allowed to also go to the point system. I have been to buyer meetings and they want me to give them my units and pay them on top to switch to points. If RCI was so great like these replies they give you then way does it only get a 1.3 rating. Please reply to me and tell me if I’m wrong.

Una completa estafa. La vendedora nos ofreció un sin fin de opciones, incluso nos dijo que lo mas que pagaríamos por estadía serian aproximadamente $349.00 por una semana. (7 días). Al momento de reservar a los $349.00 se le añaden otros cargos (sin contar que un "all-inclusive" puede costar hasta 1,000 dólares por día por persona) y en todos los resultados el precio en la pagina del hotel es mucho mas económica que las que nos ofrece el programa de RCI. Una completa decepción ya que el paquete lo venden como una alternativa económica para disfrutar en familia cuando en verdad es una membresía que no vale nada, PIERDES EL DINERO. Muy decepcionado con el personal, servicio y la mentira que nos vendieron. Por favor no caigan en este fraude, guarden ese dinero para pasar unas vacaciones fenomenales con su familia y no regalárselo a esta fraudulenta empresa.

I have been a member since 1984.
It was wonderful. Many choices and I traded all over the world. NOW it is a joke!. Few resorts available, vacation plus is about the same cost as if I booked it directly with the hotel. I believe soon everyone will pull out and find an alternative unless RCI can improve their inventory. I do like the point system, but with nothing available other than off season resorts or added cost for vac plus, I don't think they will survive.

I recently joined RCI to exchange my week in Laguna Beach as the dates were a conflict with a work trip. We have a Gold Crown resort. Everything I tried to book was an exchange plus property which was not explained to me when joining! The exchange plus properties are supposed to be highly desirable. I tried to exchange for one of these properties and the wanted to charge me $999 on top of my $289 exchange fee. The property I wanted to book was in Washington and had many open start weeks. (Highly Desirable???) I went directly to the Washington property website and I can book a week there for less than than the $999 plus the trade fee from RCI!!!!! WTH…. Seriously ….If I were to book this week in Washington, I basically would give RCI my week in Laguna Beach plus pay them $1288 for the exchange! I say SCAM what a waste of my time and the exchange of my week! I am furious and very disappointed with this business they get you in but you are screwed once you deposit your week unless you want to go to Palm Springs in the middle of 120 degree weather. Unbelievable how they stay in business!

Pésima, nos ofrecieron muchas opciones a la hora de vendernos el paquete y cuando tomamos el plan y llamamos las cosas se han dado en este orden.
- No están las mismas opciones que en el documento que nos mostraron en la reunión y lo peor es que quedé obligada justo ir al lugar donde clara y explicitamente dije que no queria ir. Es literal ir a un restaurante que te muestran un buen menú pero cuando te decides a pedir, no hay ni la mitad de lo que ofrecen y encima lo que hay es un mal plato de algo que no te gusta!
- La jóven que colocaron como nuestra asesora tiene 0 manejo y servicio al cliente, tarda días en responderte, no da opciones y mucho menos soluciones.
- Nos mintieron en cuanto al pago basicamente que X monto seria subido a una cuenta en X banco y el descuento mensual sería fijo. Y para nuestra sorpresa hicieron el descuento a nuestra TC.
- La opcion de bono de regalo que nos dieron ya ni siquiera existe el lugar y aqui como opcion tambien me exigen ir al lugar donde dije que noo quería ir.
No han cumplido absolutamente nada de lo ofrecido.
Puse a queja y cuando dije procedamos a cancelar no me contestaron más!
Ojalá hubiera visto estos comentarios a tiempo.
Puedo comprender la situación de la limitacion hotelera post pandemia pero no mientan para vender y enseñenle a sus colaboradores a ofrecer opciones y solventar situaciones a la brevedad real.
En este punto tengo 3 días tratando de hacer una reserva a la opción qu me dan, no a la que quiero y ni eso han podido hacer.
Es una verdadera estafa y en este punto además de querer mi dinero de vuelta, me encantaría poder hechar el tiempo para atrás y haberles dicho que No desde su primer acercamiento.
