Great company, highly recommend booking through Red Cactus Events, amazing team! Just want to say a massive thank you keep up the great work guys!

Very disappointed with this activity. We booked this for a hen do but on arrival they only had equipment for 10 people even though the booking was for 11. Not only that but a lot of the equipment was broken so it could not be used. The masks and arm guides were absolutely disgusting! Arm guards were wet with sweat from previous users and the face masks absolutely stunk! I got a rash on my forehead, along the side of my face and behind my ears from the contact with the mask which lasted for nearly a week! Would definitely not recommend this centre to anyone.

We were very excited to be doing Combat Archery as one of our Hen do activities but were very disappointed.

When we arrived, the instructor told us to stand behind a bow and arrow each. We did, only to find that there were only 10. One person had to sit out and then rotate for the entire session.
So be mindful if booking that they charge per person but only have a maximum of 10 pieces of equipment.

We were then told to put our masks and arm guards on. This was extremely unpleasant. The masks smelt horrendous and the arm guards were wet. When we questioned the instructor on this. He said “sorry about that, we had a stag do using them today too!” He did not say that they had been washed and they smelt awful. Obviously this is outrageous and very unhygienic. Some of the girls then didn’t want to join in with the activity. The instructor then said he could spray them with antibacterial spray but this made it worse.

We also had one arrow each, which then meant we couldn’t do some of the games. Also the clips on the arrows were broken and wouldn’t sit in the bows correctly.

The instructor was kind and said at the end of the session “sorry about the equipment you could speak to my manager as he can speak to the provider.” Because of the apologetic nature of the young instructor and how embarrassed he was, we spoke to the manager after. He said we would need to send an email.

I wouldn’t normally leave a negative review. However, our email with these points has been disregarded and we have been called liars. I feel it is important that others know about the negative experience and lack of customer service we received afterwards.

As part of my friend’s hen do we booked the archery combat activity. It was very disappointing to be told that there was only enough equipment for 10 out of 11 of the girls to join in. This meant that one of us had to stand at the side and watch whilst everyone else played.
The equipment was disgusting. It clearly had NOT been cleaned! The masks were really smelly and the arm bands were soaking wet. When asked if they had been cleaned, the instructor could not give a definite answer. He then offered to spray the masks with antibacterial spray which resulted in several of the girls having rashes on their foreheads and cheeks the next day.
The quality of the equipment was poor. Several of the arrows were broken so we could not clip them onto the bow to shoot. When we showed the instructor this, he said that’s all the arrows they had and there was nothing he could do about it.
We later emailed this company to make them aware of the issues we had with our booking to be told that what we had reported was “simply not true”.
Awful activity, awful customer service!

We had booked archery as a hen do activity, we were all really looking forward to it however were soon disappointed when we arrived for our activity.

To start off with we found out there was only enough equipment for 10 people when we had booked for 11, this meant someone had to continuously swap in initially.

The equipment we were given was of a very poor quality, the masks were unhygienic and had to be sprayed with ant bacterial which made it no better. Several members of the hen party had rashes on their faces from the masks in the days following this event.

Many of the arrows were broken which slowed down all of the games and therefore left many of the hens unengaged and not wanting to join in the activities.

The service was appalling all in all, I would recommend you to avoid this activity!

Very disappointing experience. We arrived to find that there was not enough equipment for the group 11 even though we were charged per person. The equipment that was there was faulty and smelt awful from the previous group having used it just before. The host said himself that we should complain but when we did we were accused of lying by the company and they sent a very rude reply. Would never use this company again.

AWFUL experience. My bridesmaids booked the Archery combat activity for my hen do in Leeds. Upon arrival, there was not enough equipment for the amount of people we had booked for and only one arrow per bow which meant many of the activities couldn’t be played properly and weren’t as fun. In addition to this, a few of the arrows had broken clips and wouldn’t clip to the bows. The face masks we used stunk of sweat and the arm guards were wet with sweat from a stag group that had used the equipment prior to our booking. After complaining about this via email, we were accused of lying about the broken equipment and told that the company provided an ‘acceptable standard.’ Also that we ‘looked like we enjoyed ourselves’ after we made the best of a bad situation. Very disappointed, however the coach with us was understanding and tried his best.

Great experience, adapted really well to suit the needs of the group and the brilliant weather we had in Brighton that weekend, helpful host was great too, kept us entertained.

Company Sports Day.

We booked Red Cactus sports day activity for our companies annual team building event. The team were incredible, very easy to deal with and successfully ran the event removing the pressure from ourselves. All of our staff gave excellent feedback regarding the event, asking when our next sports day will be! I highly recommend this activity if you are looking to boost morale and have some relaxed fun outside of the office.

Great stag do in Stoke.
We did Bubble Football and Combat Archery and had a blast. James was friendly and had everything set up for us so we just turned up and battled it out. Was a shame we had to pay for 10 minimum when we were a smaller group, but this was clearly explained to me so I can’t take off a star.
Easy to book and friendly people over the phone and email. Would highly recommend.

Booked squid game for my sisters hen party and everyone had an amazing time and we really enjoyed the activities and the hour flown by so quickly!
The only thing I would say is that the audio was quite quiet in the room so we couldn’t hear what some things were said and I did pay and book for 1pm and they changed it to 2pm after I paid a deposit

Booked combat archery and football darts. Expensive but we hoped it’d be quality. The props were battered and old, based on an astroturf with 4 zorb balls for terrain. Most of the arrows were missing flights. The inflatable dart board didn’t go up because the machine wasn’t strong enough or it was punctured. A few of us played some 5 a side while waiting for it to be set up. We were encouraged to ask the company for a refund by the host. We’ve now been told that the board wouldn’t go up because of adverse weather (false), we were offered zorbing football as an alternative (no, there were 4 as terrain, nowhere near enough for 15 of us) and that we chose football as an alternative (also false, we played half an hour of with a football for £22.50 each).

They were painful to use from the beginning, multiple times I was left in limbo waiting for a reply. This wasn’t too bad as the event eventually got booked. This booking compromised of two activities, one we couldn’t do because of the weather. The guy recommended contacting RCE for a partial refund, the reply was full of lies and said that a few of us kicking a football around for half hour constituted a second activity; 16 x £20 to kick a football around is very far from a bargain!!!

It’s especially insulting when we found out how much their fee was vs what the company running the activity made!!! I would recommend avoiding RCE and going direct

Very professional and fun event. Staff were great. Exactly what we wanted!

The communication from this company was great! The chef, Paul was not only French but lovely and an INCREDIBLE cook! Alexi our butler, bloody wow is all I can say. I would have given them 5 stars but there was a small bit of arrival time confusion which Helen sorted out immediately. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Jenn was very helpful and informative in getting everything sorted for my stag-do with Electric Shock Football - one I can highly recommend and would love to do again. Our host Michael was cheery, funny and also helpful in giving us a fantastic experience. Had an amazing time, thank you all so much!

We booked the office game show for a work teambuilding event, it was fantastic fun. We are a pretty competitive bunch so it turned out to be the ideal indoor event at our place of work. Everyone loved the take on the TV game shows with some easy and some difficult rounds, there was something to suit everyones talents and abilities. The events team were lovely and really well organised, the gameshow host was excellent and brought it all to life. I would definitely recommend 😃👍

The company Red Cactus chose to supply a Pub Olympics for 60 people at our partner conference was a very good choice! The people were great, the games were fun, the equipment was good, even the winners trophy was decent! Red Cactus were good communicators and it was quite simple to get them to invoice us in a way that suited us. I recommend!
