We booked Combat Archery and Bubble…
We booked Combat Archery and Bubble Football as Stag Do for my brother. The group of 11 really enjoyed both activities and the various games that the instructor Aman setup. Aman was timely with his setup and arrival at the venue and even switching between activities giving us a much needed comfort break. All in all had nothing but positive feedback from the group who would love to do something like this again soon.

Awful
Unfortunately, our football darts experience was a complete disaster.
We arrived at the location on time. The dartboard was not set up ready for us, this took a good 30 minutes to inflate.
We then discovered that the footballs provided did not stick to the board.
We informed the manager at the time, Danny. He said it was the football dartboard company that were responsible for the faulty equipment and not the locations fault.
I did go to a lot of trouble to booking this for my friends stag party. It cost a lot of money to do. Myself and the rest of us felt extremely let down by what happened.
There were 13 of us in this event, some of had to pay for Ubers to get there and back. Altogether costing about £30.
I must request that we are given a full refund for this as well as some compensation for the trouble and time wasted in sorting this.
I do appreciate that this is not your fault but the company's.

Thank you for taking the time to review,. although I do wish it were for better reasons.
This has of course been investigated and resolved with you directly and a full refund provided. Apologies again for the issues experienced with the dartboard. This was a disapointment to ourselves and our partner also who had spefically requested the event coordinator check the equipment prior to being sent out to the event as it appears there is a manufactoring fault with the newly delivered dartboards.

Fantastic old school sports day
Brilliant time yesterday with Tee Jay at our old school sports day. 18 ladies of middle years and beyond ! We were a loud rowdy bunch and he coped admirably with us. Loads of fun, exhausting games, a great laugh from start to finish, would highly recommend.

We all had a good day
We all had a good day. I have attended many team building days and I feel there should have been 2 people hosting our event of 23 people. There was a lot of standing around doing nothing. Our host was already exhausted when he arrived, so wasn't quite with it for our event, but was winging it very well. He wasn't passed our post code or parking instructions and I had arranged for everyone to move their cars so that he could park at our property. He was late and couldn't find us. He was not informed that we were a group of ladies. He coped very well with the range of personalities. The list of games I was given - many did not take place. There were no space hoppers, sack race, hula hoops, I didn't see sight of the generator that I paid for. there was no Mr & Mrs quiz held halfway through. I split the group into teams, which weren't required. No armguards were provided for the archery.

Anthony arrived on time
Anthony arrived on time. We were all ages from 5 to 70’s. We had a great time. We had some children with development issues but once they got involved they enjoyed the experience as much as everyone else. Much hilarity. Would definitely recommend thankyou

Thank you for taking time to leave a view however I am sorry that this was not for a positive experience.
When providing a quotation for any of our activities we provide a suggested venue based on availability at the time of quoting. Regrettably we are unable to reserve any space at the venues without a confirmed booking (A deposit payment from our customers), so venues are always subject to availability.
Having checked back through any communication you had with the team I can see that the booking confirmation sent on 11th May & the event pack sent on the 19th July both contained the correct venue address.
The booking page where you would have paid your final balance was also updated with the booked address on 11th May prior to payment being made.
The event coordinator also sent a text the day before the event as a final touch point.
I am sorry if all communication was missed, we always try and make any changes from your original quotation as transparent as possible once the booking has been made.

Life drawing with a twist!
I arranged a life drawing event for our friend's Hen weekend and it couldn't have gone better! It was easy to book, with regular communication from Emily at Red Cactus. I was contacted on the day of the event by the tutor and model, and the session ran on time with everything that was promised. We had lots of laughs, got very creative with our model's poses(!) and the Bride-to-be had an absolute blast. Would definitely recommend!

Fully paid event cancelled with less than 24 hours notice
I had a fully paid booking for a group event on a Saturday. I got a phone call at approximately 4pm on Friday, less than 24 hours before the event, telling me that the event was now cancelled.
I was stunned that any organisation could treat a customer like this. With notice being given at such a late hour it was almost impossible to salvage the day and Red Cactus Events' unapologetic team were no help at all with their "alternatives" being completely different events in a completely different city.
I am sure that Red Cactus Events will say they were let down by their 'provider' and share my 'frustrations' but a responsible company should have depth of provision and not rely on a fragile business structure. In my opinion, the blame rests entirely on Red Cactus Events and the way they run their business where apparently the customer's needs are the lowest priority.
100% I will never be booking with Red Cactus Events ever again and would urge others to avoid our same fate.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review although I wish it were for better circumstances.
On behalf of Emily who was your event lead throughout and the team I of course wish to apologise for the extremely last minute delivery of the cancellation of your event. Although you have already pre-empted our claim that we were let down by our provider, I can only provide the truth in response to your review and that was unfortunately absolutely the case.
We were regrettably informed late on Friday that the event coordinator assigned to your booking could no longer attend. Our partner of course went out to all staff once aware to try and find cover but sadly no one else was available as most were already assigned to other events in other areas.
Whilst it in no way compensates for your lack of event, the coordinator in question was disciplined accordingly.
Once we were made aware ourselves, we immediately went out to our other partners in an attempt to find an alternative provider of the event booked, but again, due to the late stage of the request, we were unable to find anyone whom would be available in Leicester.
Having witnessed the entire conversation Emily had with you when having to deliver the bad news, it is absolutely fair to say she was extremely apologetic. I completely understand we were able to find a satisfactory resolution for you, and therefore in your view it seems we simply did not care, however we absolutely made every attempt to provide a solution.
An alternative option was offered in the closest area we had available which was sadly the best we could offer in this circumstance. Once this was declined a full refund was provided immediately which does not compensate for the lack of event I do appreciate but again sadly the only possible outcome.

Dirty Dancing HIT, Sports Day FLOP
OLD SCHOOL SPORTS DAY- We were asked to arrive 15 minutes before our start time, which we did.
I rang the guy delivering our session to say we had arrived. On me ringing him he then said he was running 10-15 minutes late. He turned up 45 minutes later, it took a further two phone calls from me to ask where he was, he never rang me first. Very unprofessional. We had a second activity booked in the afternoon which I had to move to make time. I purposefully did not make a fuss when he did arrive as didn’t want to spoil it for the hen. The activities for the sports day were fun, but he was running out of options of different types of races to do almost half way through which was disappointing. I’d rather have saved money and ran our own sports day.
DIRTY DANCING CLASS - We had a blast from start to finish. The dance teacher was spot on, professional, encouraging and engaging throughout.

Absolutely brilliant
Absolutely brilliant. I contacted Red Cactus in a panic - My partner had previously organised a hen do activity with a different company who, three weeks before the event, cancelled on her! So I contacted Red Cactus to see if, by any chance, they could help us at very short notice. They managed to sort a School Sports Day activity for the same date and, not to put too fine a point on it, completely saved the hen do. The girls had a whale of a time, thoroughly enjoyed the games, and got some great photos. I dealt with Chloe who was super helpful. Great company, more than happy to recommend!!

We arrived on time and the previous event hadnt finished. We kicked a football around for 10 minutes waiting for the hen do to clear out.
They didnt have enough masks so we had to play 5v5 despite booking for 14.
Finished bang on time so we lost 15 mins, noone else waiting after.
Probably worth looking around..

Our quotations do state '10 Archery Bows and Arrows' in the 'what's included' section, which is regardless of the group size. Players are rotated to ensure all have equal game play.
I can certainly investigate the timings/duration of the event with the event coordinator on the day however if you would like to get in touch directly with our head office team.

We're sorry to hear that your event was not as you expected.
We understand you hired the Football Dartboard for your event. We do advise that access to continuous power is required however if you do not have this, you can hire a generator for an additional charge.
The online quote link we provided prior to you booking stated the need for power access and a generator wasn't requested which is why it wasn't provided for your event on this occasion.
We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and that the Football Dartboard was not suitable for your event.

Nina was great as an initial contact.
William was polite and strict. However for the price, We did expect more fun, trophies for the winners, more fun, better atmosphere .
