Amazing experiencing welding
Really enjoyed experiencing welding, we were taken through the process and our instructor was very friendly, great at explaining things and very patient. Ive always wanted to have a go. Fully recommended and a had great day 👌

I have had a terrible experience with…
I have had a terrible experience with Buy a Gift and would not recommend using this company.
I initially purchased an overnight stay through Buy a Gift because it was cheaper than booking directly with the hotel. I received the voucher and everything appeared to be fine. A few days later, I decided to purchase another overnight stay at the same hotel and made a second booking through Buy a Gift.
Unfortunately, the second voucher never arrived. I contacted Buy a Gift for help, but the experience was extremely frustrating. I was passed between three different advisers, all of whom gave me different information and advice, and there was no telephone number available to speak to someone directly.
As a result of the issue, my original booking was cancelled and I was refunded. This has now left me unable to stay at the hotel I originally wanted to visit, as I no longer feel comfortable making another booking through Buy a Gift and booking directly with the hotel is significantly more expensive.
To make matters worse, the other booking was also affected because the payment remained pending and on hold for around three days, which ultimately contributed to the booking being cancelled.
Overall, this has been a completely disappointing and unnecessarily stressful experience. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to resolve an issue that should have been straightforward, only to receive conflicting information and no effective resolution.
I certainly would not use Buy a Gift again in the future and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking through the company.

Didcot Railway museum - you can walk along over the track - you can experience steam trains running on two track - you can walk around the loco sheds and climb up onto the foot plate - you can see rolling stock and coaches being done up you can check out how signalling worked in the old days and more modern - food & drink available - great day out

Do not buy a voucher of them
Do not buy a voucher of them. I purchased a European break for 2, it is now coming up to 2 years, and it still doesn't work. I have paid for extensions, they have given me 10% credit. Just been reassured AGAIN that I can now book a break. STILL DOES NOT WORK!!! You choose your break and all that happens is the same thing, DOWLOADING, and nothing happens. I have been demanding a refund now for a year, and they refuse to give me my money, as over 30 days. They have failed to supply and still will not give me my money back. I am contacting legal advice now as they are not providing me with a break to book. DO NOT BY A VOUCHER for Two Night European City Break, you will be stuck with a useless voucher and no response from customer service apart from repeatedly telling you it is sorted, when it still fails. This company has caused me endless stress and my anxiety has shot through the roof, they have made me so ill, and do not care, and just fob you off.

Grand setting and great ambience
The setting was grand and they had a man playing piano which gave the room a great ambience. The staff were attentive and friendly and on top of that all the food and drink we had was delicious

Booking cancelled without explanation
I received a meal voucher for Xmas. Unfortunately there is a very limited number of restaurants/pubs anywhere near me where I can use it. I booked a table a week ahead at the nearest one, The Three Bulls Heads, in Newcastle for a birthday lunch. They cancelled my booking by email on the evening before my visit. They gave me no reason for the cancellation. I was not impressed.

we purchased a voucher a a Christmas…
we purchased a voucher a a Christmas gift and it expired within 6 months which was stated but overlooked by us. The person the gift was for realised too late to extend and therefore the money was lost. This is more a warning to others to ensure the experience is booked in good time but also disappointing the money paid for the experience ends up wasted. it would probably be easier and better to write a note in a card that an experience will be paid for as a gift and when the recipient is ready the experience can be booked as that way there is no time restriction on using the gift. We will not use Red letter days for any future gifts for this reason.

Poor research by Red Letter Days
Booked 2 day break via Red Letter Days at Wrexham Llyndir Hotel with key features including Restaurant, Swimming Pool, Bar, Gym/Fitness centre and Air conditioning. This hotel has none of these facilities despite the Red Letter website and booking confirmation clearly stating they do. Additionally the cleanliness of the rooms are the worst I have ever stayed at (we have photographic evidence). We were offered an alternative room which was as bad, the toilet/bathroom area in particular. I discussed the issues with the manager and he advised that the hotel has told Booking.com and Expedia (the latter of which our room was booked through by Red Letter Days) that the above facilities are not available but they still have guests arriving believing they do. We thus did not stay at the hotel and, at our own expense, had to find another hotel to stay at.
I believe that Red Letter Days have been negligent in selling this break and thus owe me an apology and refund, please advise how you intend to address this.

Cream tea in New Forest
