Worst Customer Ordering Experience - Ever!

The Customer Service Representatives are very polite and certainly try and help with initial technical/diagnostic matters. However, there appears to be zero proactive follow-up with Customers and trying to deal with a single representative for continuity is nigh on impossible.

Furthermore, there seems to be a huge disconnect between Customer Service and the Warehouse Team once an order is placed. 'Chasing up' my order required eMails between departments, and hence further delays, rather than a simple phone call.

It has taken 8 days to confirm that my order is finally on it's way to the courier. 8 days and it hasn't even reached the Courier's Depot yet! I could have walked there and collected it in that time.

I had to eMail my details in the first instance to start the order process.
There's no online order screen/form to complete. I then had to send multiple eMails and wait 48 hrs to receive the 'payment' link. I was told upon placing an order that I would receive a confirmation eMail. I received nothing. I asked for an eMail confirming the order/receipt for payment. I received nothing.

I have called at least once on each intervening day to try and get confirmation that my order was even being processed. As usual the representative that took my call was very polite but hopelessly uninformed and unable to offer a good explanation why things were taking so long.

It has been the most stressful and fraught ordering process I have ever used. It's simply a Joke - and a very bad one.

In this age of online ordering and same day dispatch of goods, whatever is actually 'going on' at Redring is an absolute parody of efficient and effective Customer Service. As someone who used to work in Customer Service, this is a shocking state of affairs. Whoever agreed this disjointed process at Redring should be fired for incompetancy.

If I could have given Zero Stars, I would have...

What should be noted is that RKW Group acquired the Redring Brand in 2024 and we are currently developing a fully transactional website for this brand to allow for online ordering, dispatch and tracking of any order placed.

Replacing a dinosaur

After moving in to my new home .the shower that was already there must of been at least 40+ years old redring super1
I contacted redring and got a very prompt from the lovely Zoe who recomended 2 models with multiple entry points so that replacing the very old and fragile original

Diane a very nice and Helpfull lady

i would like to say how helpfull the lady was on the phone Diane . our shower didnt work when we installed it it was only the front of the shower that we needed and diane was very helpfull to us we would like to thank the company for there help

Redring BRIGHT shower unit…simple and affective both in use and installing !!

Purchased a Redring BRIGHT shower unit My third in 15 yrs (scale is my issue) however my latest unit failed (water passing when stopped). Called the service line.. assessed the reasons and no quibbles gave me a code and secure replacement. Great service support and I must say how easy it is ti use their products..Adaptable and an easy to install with easy access for cable and pipes.. keeping the same design configuration helps the installer and client using the existing supplies and hole fixtures.. now to fix the scaling that nit Redring issue .. softeners her I come !!

Absolute Terrible customer service, Terrible faulty products

Absolute Terrible customer service. i had a shower professionally fitted. after 6 months it stopped working and it supposedly came with a 3year warranty. At first they refused to accept the product was faulty, saying the water pressure was incorrect after a number of back and forths they accepted and booked an engineer to check. They then said they will post a new shower out which took 2 weeks to arrive. Now it has been a further 2 weeks of cancelled installation appointments last minute by them, they said the installation team has a bug going round so cannot give a date to install. I offered them an alternative to have it fitted by someone and they re-imburse me but the refused. Now i have been without a working shower for 2 months. I have called and complained numerous times, but seems like its going nowhere. I would not reccomend at all. appaling service. I would stick with a reputable brand.

If in doubt you need to shout - To a higher level


On my initial report that the shower was faulty, the Service levels were adequate.
However during the next 3 days No common sense & a total lack of professionalism prevailed,
Fact - On complaining the shower which is 18 month old had failed I was given a contact sheet to complete.
Fact - Holly sent me this again the next day to complete - It was already on the email she had returned to me.
Fact - She gave me a tel no for Glendimplex.
( part of their group) ) - with ref No. Glen Dimplex confirmed that they do NOT repair this device.
Fact- Not so confirmed Holly
Fact- another email confirmed what I had to do-
Measure 1 minutes worth of water volume.
Fact - It is the heater thats not working NOT the water flow. Results sent.
Fact- Holly followed up with a telecom and then an email. This is problematic when dealing with sub contractors.
Fact- I have contacted their CEO
Fact- Their director has now been in touch and very quickly has sorted this

The service I received from Kai initially then Holly was first class.Very efficient, helpful and quick to arrange an engineer to come to asses my 95 year old mothers shower during the cold weather.

I had a Redwing Glow shower in my…

I had a Redwing Glow shower in my bathroom which was under warranty. I contacted Redwing on the 20th November a month later a Redwing Pure shower turns up. So the last Friday before Christmas an engineer came. I got told it was something to do with the wrong value had been used. What he didn’t say it was the completely wrong shower. It was never going to be like for like. It was the cheapest shower they had.
I would never recommend this company to anyone
