To do first
l noticed it started to fade in a few places
They said there must be mould underneath
And there is not
As it’s over ceramic tiles
I had a professional to do job they could use that excuse for any complaint

Brilliant

Brilliant. I was so late ordering this flooring and they put a rush on it and delivered as promised when they said they would.

Ordered laminate flooring

Ordered laminate flooring, 2 boards were discoloured with white marks that could not be wiped off, planks were chipped when we took them out of packaging and it was absolutely rubbish to lay...bits kept breaking off, clearly very cheaply made. An absolute waste of money

Good to deal with but need to change courier

I found them very good to deal with when ordering the carpet and asking for advice on how much to order, especially as it was a complicated pattern.

They were usually quick to deal with any email questions.

However, they use a rubbish delivery company (DX - who I've reviewed separately and given just a 1 star rating to). They should really consider using a better courier. I've decided that I won't use any company who uses DX for delivery in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your order arrived in poor condition.

All laminate flooring leaves our warehouse in good order and is checked prior to dispatch. Unfortunately, on this occasion the damage reported appears to have occurred during transit with the courier, which is something outside of our direct control. When issues like this are reported, we are always happy to raise a claim with the courier and work towards a resolution.

Regarding samples, these are supplied to accurately show the colour, texture, and finish of the flooring. Full packs are supplied exactly as manufactured and are not treated or “polished” differently from the samples.

We also feel it’s important to mention that our team were spoken to in an abusive manner during contact. While we understand frustration when something goes wrong, we ask that communication remains respectful so we can help effectively.

We regret that this experience was disappointing and remain willing to assist when concerns are raised appropriately.

I paid for vinyl flooring with cutting…

I paid for vinyl flooring with cutting and delivery however it was not cut n they seem to have gave me end of roll as was stapled to huge hard cardboard and plastic tube I rang to ask them to remove this as I'm a disabled pensioner but they were unhelpful and told me to ask a neighbour to remove it but none of us drive n it wudnt fit in a car it is very heavy n I'm unable to move it so it's stuck in my home.no custom service whatsoever as I paid for cutting but no offer of refund for this I am very upset by the way I've been treated by remland carpets n wud never ever buy from them n advise nobody else to I have photos of the great big tube I'm left with

To clarify, all vinyl flooring is supplied with a cardboard recyclable tube inside the roll. This tube is essential to keep the flooring securely rolled during transit so that it arrives without damage, creasing, or distortion. It forms part of the standard protective packaging used for vinyl flooring, including cut lengths, and is not an indication that an end-of-roll product has been supplied.

As the tube is part of the packaging material, we are unfortunately unable to arrange collection or disposal of it. We would recommend checking if a neighbour, friend, or local recycling service may be able to assist with removal. Alternatively, when your household waste or recycling is collected, this is typically something the council will accept if broken down.

We are very sorry if this was not clearly explained at the time and if our communication did not meet expectations. This is not the experience we want for our customers, and we will be reviewing the feedback regarding how your enquiry was handled to ensure we can improve our service going forward.

Very dissatisfied with the courier …

Very dissatisfied with the courier service used with the company (in my experience)
Received an email yesterday advising me that delivery would be made on that day but no time specified so I just assumed it would be all day. No update or tracking available but I couldn't leave any delivery options, only to change delivery date, which I didn't need to do.
No delivery and no response!
Today I received an email and message telling me delivery was to be made between 1545 and 1745. No number to contact or tracking information but not necessary be once again
Waiting for the door to knock, myself and my son are at home and I happen to look at my phone at 1645 to an email saying they're sorry they tried to deliver at 1638 BUT NO RESPONSE! my security door bell is LOUD and the door itself you'd be able to hear a knock, plus an over exited shih tzu would definitely let us know!
Once we realised we rushed to the window and noticed not a DX van but a SWITCH van who's driver was about to drive off and as we tried to catch him he'd sped off.
Fuming is an understatement and I have obviously left a review on their site!
I had to rearrange for tomorrow and change my plans.
Not happy!

Terrible

I ordered a small piece of flooring. I was sent a scratched bolt end with multiple thick staples through it. I needed pliers to remove these staples because they were so big. The whole point of vinyl flooring is to create a waterproof seal which is virtually impossible when there's small holes in it. It also had scratches all over it. When I contacted them to complain they took nearly a month to come to me with a resolution, and only after I chased them for not responding. Their resolution was to send me more flooring a month after I needed it. I accepted the flooring but it's very inconvenient as I had already made other arrangements. I will never use this company again and you would be smart to avoid them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We’re genuinely sorry for the frustration caused and for the condition the flooring arrived in from our suppliers, that is absolutely not the standard we expect and we understand how disappointing that must have been.

However, we do feel it’s important to clarify the timeline, as this played a large part in what we were able to offer. The flooring was delivered around six weeks before the issue was first reported to us and by the time we were notified, the material had already been cut in preparation for fitting. Once flooring has been cut or installed, it can no longer be assessed, collected or returned to the manufacturer, which limits the options available to us under both our policy and the supplier’s.

Despite the issue being reported outside our terms and after the product had been altered, we still raised your case with the supplier and pushed for a resolution on your behalf - even though it was also outside their timeframe. We’re pleased that, after these discussions, we were able to secure and offer you a replacement free of charge, which you confirmed you wished to proceed with.

We appreciate that the delay in reaching a final resolution was frustrating and we apologise for the inconvenience caused, including the disruption to your planned fitting but we had the complaint raised with the manufacturer and argued the case to help you, which did take some time I am afraid.

While the situation wasn’t straightforward due to the time elapsed and the flooring being cut before the issue was raised, we did make every effort to resolve the matter as fairly as possible and we’re glad we were ultimately able to provide a replacement.

Disappointed at first, but customer service won me over

I recently purchased vinyl flooring from Remland. When it was unrolled on fitting day, I was surprised and quite disappointed to find tyre track marks running right through the middle of it. Luckily I was able to clean the marks off, but it wasn’t something I’d expect on brand-new flooring, especially given the cost.

That said, when I contacted Remland about the issue, their customer service was excellent. They responded quickly, apologised sincerely, and arranged a goodwill refund to acknowledge the inconvenience. They also reassured me that they would raise the matter with the manufacturer to prevent it happening again.

Overall, whilst I was disappointed by the condition of the flooring when it arrived, I was very impressed with how Remland handled the situation. Their prompt and considerate response showed they take customer concerns seriously. I’d recommend them based on this experience, though I would personally want to check any pre-packaged flooring before delivery in the future, just to avoid any surprises.

Absolutely delighted with the product, the fitting, the customer service and with the value for money!

Originally quoted for 3 bedroom carpets in April 2023, Remland (Folkestone) honoured the price in April 2025 and delivered in May.

The fitters were an experienced team of cheerful, friendly, decent, hard-working blokes with excellent skills.

I am absolutely delighted with the product, the fitting, the customer service and with the value for money.

Slow customer service

I sent a complaint about some marks on the vinyl flooring I purchased. After a month, I decided to call as I had not heard anything. They asked me to submit more photos, but then could not offer any resolution to the problem. I was told it was my fault for not unravelling a heavy piece of flooring to check for damage. Something that I believe an online purchase should not have to do. This is a job for the warehouse team.
I am disappointed and will never purchase from them again.

Flooring has just been dumped in the driveway!
No one rung the bell or knocked and u haven’t inspected it to make sure it’s not damaged! Terrible customer service in absolutely fuming. I’ve got a broken arm and have no idea how I’m supposed to get this inside!

No updates on delay.

Orders flooring. Paid for flooring. Multiple emails saying order is processing. Weeks later still no further forward. Rang a few times to be told they come direct from the supplier. We will ring them get an update and get back to you. No one ever gets back to you. Desperate for this flooring as it’s holding up my son’s bedroom.

If I don’t have a date by tomorrow I will be cancelling and raising the issue with my card provider.

Do not order from this company!

Do not order from this company!

I ordered some vinyl flooring almost 3 weeks ago. Was told it was delayed as they didn’t have the stock available (red flag since it was still available to order on their website at this point). This delay was supposedly until 6th December. 6th December arrives and no update. I called up and then it was oh sorry it’ll be in on the 9th December and we will ship to you next day. 10th December arrives and nothing. At this point I’ve had to delay the fitter so I call to see what other vinyl is in stock and pick a different one. Told this will arrive Monday 16th. By Friday 13th no order update so I call again, sorry but your order won’t arrive until Wednesday 18th (the day my fitter in booked for). At this point I’m very frustrated and end up cancelling the order. Ordered from elsewhere on Saturday and my new flooring has arrived today no problems.

Still waiting on a refund from Remland for the total amount (including the difference between my first and second order) and not convinced I will get my money back but I wait with bated breath.

Do not order from here, please go elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback and we sincerely apologise for the experience you've had with us. This is not the level of service we aim to provide and we understand how frustrating these delays have been, especially when coordinating with your fitter. Our sincere apologies for the communication on our side not being the best.

The issues with stock availability and subsequent delays were caused by unexpected supplier issues, and we regret that our website didn’t reflect real-time availability. This is something we are actively working to improve to avoid similar situations in the future. However, as we do not stock everything and the stock levels are with our supplier, it is difficult for us to reflect the stock levels on our website. So instead, when this issue does arise we contact our customers immediately (which we did with you) and let them know with some options on how to proceed. I appreciate this was not ideal, but we did let you know as soon as possible so you could make a decision on how you would like to proceed.

Sadly the delay was due to the supplier not sending the item on time as their delivery vans have been full due to the festive period and they did not communicate with us. We did offer to send the vinyl on an AM service for you to try and make this right for the day your fitter arrived on, but we appreciate this was not suitable. I can only apologise for this and would like to reassure you, this is not the usual way we do business and I am very sorry for your experience.

As you can see, we are a company that has been trading for over 32 years and are not a 'red flag' company. On our review portal with 'Reviews - io' we are rated 4.8 stars. I can also confirm your money has now been refunded in full for your order.

We appreciate your patience and sincerely apologise again for the inconvenience. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Great customer service

I ordered 3 packets of laminate and the top board on two packets were damaged even although packets were very well wrapped.

I thought it would have been a drama to get two replacement boards.

I sent an email with photos of the two damaged boards.

I got an email the following day with an apology and an order number for a new full box of laminate, 9 boards rather than 2.

Our home has been transformed

We’ve just had a new carpet fitted by Remland and we couldn’t be happier. Reasonably priced, we opted for the slightly more expensive Hollywood fit and our home has quite literally been transformed. The 2 fitters expertly laid our carpet on 3 flights of stairs and 2 hallways in a day; contending with both a curious cat and dog throughout. They demonstrated real craftmanship and enthusiasm for the job in hand and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would heartily recommend Remland and the excellent team who work for them. Thank you.

exceptional customer service

I've used Remland before - I've always found their customer service goes way beyond, they couldn't have been more helpful with suggestions and multiple samples. Speaking to customer service again today with a super helpful person, gave me different ideas and lots of stuff to consider. Can't recommend highly enough :))

First class Customer service from placing my order to delivery…

I can truly say that the customer service is second to none. Remland Carpets give a first class customer service to customers. From placing the order to delivery I was informed every step of the way. The product knowledge and my requirements were quickly identified through the chat, and the online ordering process was simple. I was informed of the delivery and time frame in advance which was adhered to exactly.
I would highly recommend the company.

A very positive experience.

Had a very positive experience using this company. My first contact was via their website, when I requested samples, which were delivered very quickly.

I required additional advice and contacted the company using the “help@“ email address. The replies were prompt, and the help and advice I received from Sophie and Marie-Louise was very much appreciated. Sophie arranged the particulars of my order, and processed a custom order very quickly. Delivery was handled by DX; the quoted delivery date was met, and the driver followed the additional delivery instructions.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use Remland again; friendly and professional replies to queries.
