Excellent hotel

Excellent hotel, very clean, spacious rooms.
The staff were excellent, very helpful, especially the restaurant and breakfast staff were impeccable. We had the best macchiato we’ve ever had, freshly squeezed orange juice, very accommodating all round. Great views of the sea while eating breakfast, would highly recommend this hotel. Look forward to going again one day soon.

Wir waren am 8.08.2025 im Restaurant essen , das Essen war einfach super , auch die Beratung des Personals war hervorragend .
Der junge Kellner der uns bedient hat war sehr freundlich und umsichtig hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt mit einer so freundlichen Art das wir uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt haben.
Das wir in Deutschland sowas noch mal erleben durften ist schön,wir wünschen dem Unternehmen das sie Personal halten können .
Wir kommen jetzt regelmäßig zu ihnen essen .

STAY AWAY!!!

Expected more from a 4 star hotel, the staff were absolutely horrible to me and my friend. Rooms were not cleaned or restocked when this hotel is advertised to do so. Extreme disrespect to vegetarians. I was absolutely shocked that this was the way I was treated. If we didn't pay in full, I would have honestly taken my money far far away.

I booked this hotel for me and my…

I booked this hotel for me and my friend because it was 4 stars. We wanted a luxury get away and were severely disappointed the longer we stayed.

On our second day there, we asked reception for complimentary slippers and robes as they were not left in our rooms. We were also told that our rooms would be cleaned and restocked daily, however we had to walk back down to reception to ask again. We never received the slipper, robes, coffee and tea. My shower was broken and leaked water from the seals. My friend had a long black hairs in her shower (she has pink hair) and the wallpaper in her room was peeling off the walls. There were ants coming into both of our rooms (we were on the third/top floor) and my patio area was filthy and covered with grit. I had the most luxurious TV in my room but it had no internet connection, no instructions on how to use it, no apps and everything was in Italian. After we let them know what was happening in the rooms and in the bar, the service just got worse, with only three days and three nights left, we both decided to give up and spend all of our time outdoors. As a 4 star hotel, we expected much much better.

On our first day, there was a lovely bar man who provided a wonderful service and offered us complimentary snacks. The next day there was a different bar man who had a horrible attitude towards us and he charged us woefully more than the previous bar man for the same thing! When bringing out complimentary snacks, a new staff lady was on and she gave us food with meat in so we had to unfortunately decline as we are both vegetarian. The previous bar man knew and was super courteous and professional. As soon as the grumpy bar man came on shift, the new lady’s demeanour immediately changed, he must have said something about us. Sitting close by us was the head chef and after hearing us decline the meat treats, he went over to the bar man. I could not understand all of the conversation but he made enquiries as to if he knew we were vegetarian, all he did was shrug in a careless manner! We were never given complimentary snacks again other than crisps and nuts while others were given mini pizzas, pastries and sandwiches. Awful service, awful atmosphere when you’re staying somewhere that is over £200 per night. If we hadn’t paid in full, we would have left after the first night. Shortly afterwards, we felt so unwelcome and we left and ordered food somewhere outside the hotel, we ate out every night. We even started buying our own wine to the room because of how uncomfortable we felt. To say the service is so poor for a four star establishment is a huge understatement, I strongly suggest you spend your money elsewhere. I have had a far superior service in a B&B in Blackpool than here! Sea view is minimal because of angle of hotel and you had to get a shuttle or a metro train to everywhere, nothing was at walking distance. However, the shuttle drivers were incredible, especially Antonio and Zara on reception. Normally I would leave gifts and tips for the cleaners and staff, but unfortunately couldn’t leave anything.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We regret that your expectations were not fully met during your stay and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

With regard to the amenities in your room, we apologize if slippers and bathrobes were not delivered promptly following your request. These items are available on demand as indicated in the room directory, and while our housekeeping team strives to accommodate all requests swiftly, delays may occur during periods of high occupancy. We regret if this caused any inconvenience.

Regarding housekeeping and minibar restocking, our rooms are cleaned and refreshed daily. If this was not consistently reflected during your stay, we sincerely apologize. Your comments will be shared with our housekeeping manager to ensure proper follow-up and quality control.

As for the reported technical issues, including the shower and patio, our team is available 24/7 to assist with maintenance concerns, and we would have gladly provided a room change had we been made aware of persistent discomfort.

We’d also like to address your note about the television system. All in-room TVs are connected via a shared internal network, which allows guests to cast content from their own devices. While convenient, this setup may—on rare occasions—permit content to appear on unintended screens if a previous guest fails to disconnect properly. This is a known limitation of standard consumer-grade casting and not due to any fault or negligence on the hotel’s part. Nonetheless, we are actively exploring more secure casting solutions to prevent misuse and ensure a private, secure experience for all guests. Your feedback reinforces the importance of this improvement.

We were especially sorry to hear about your experience at the bar and restaurant. The inconsistency in pricing and the lack of attention to your dietary requirements do not reflect our service standards. While some aspects of our Food & Beverage operations are handled independently, we expect every guest to receive courteous, inclusive service regardless of staff rotation. We are investigating this matter internally and will reinforce training on guest communication and dietary sensitivity.

Lastly, we understand that the location may have felt more isolated than expected. Our hotel is positioned to offer a peaceful alternative to the bustle of the city, and while we do provide a complimentary shuttle to the nearby Bellavista station, we understand this may not suit every travel preference. Nonetheless, we’re pleased that our shuttle drivers and front office staff, including Zara and Antonio, left a positive impression.

We truly regret that your stay did not align with your expectations. While many of the issues raised could have been mitigated during your visit through further communication with our team, we acknowledge your dissatisfaction and take your comments seriously. Continuous improvement is a priority for us, and your experience will be part of that process.

DON’T book. Poor service and food.

Stayed at the suite with the spa with my family, and would NOT recommend this hotel! Think twice before booking, of it for holiday. Because In their opinion (ans this is the Manager B. Daniele exact words:) hotels are made for meetings.

Therefore, that is what they prioritise. If it means closing the pool area early, playing loud music until midnight, without noticing you, it’s fine, if you’re just a simple guest. Because they clearly don’t prioritise you.

Moreover, don’t ever eat there. We tried (Because we had tired kids, and couldn’t go out) everything from sandwiches, toasts, sushi and the breakfast. And NOTHING was worth writing about. You could eat it, but it’s way overpriced and therefore you expect something that is at leasy average. But it is not.

Overall we would not recommend anyone staying at Tre Fontane Resort (unless you are B2B) based on our experience.

We would like to clarify that the person you refer to in your comment is not, in fact, the Hotel Manager, and does not hold any managerial position within the property. Therefore, any statement attributed to them does not represent the hotel’s policy or philosophy. We are a resort that welcomes both leisure and business travelers, and every guest—regardless of their purpose of stay—is equally valued and prioritized.

In regard to the pool and music during events, while it is true that we occasionally host private functions, these are always managed with attention to scheduling and communication. We regret if on this occasion you felt disturbed. Our aim is always to balance enjoyment for all guests with clear information and respect for shared spaces.

Concerning the Food & Beverage experience, your comments are certainly noted. While our restaurant operates independently under a separate management, we will forward your feedback to their team for internal review. However, we must also note that the quality of food and service is generally one of the most praised aspects by our guests, which leads us to believe that there may have been an unfortunate, isolated miscommunication during your visit.
