"Placed a small order of 6 tubes of silicone and two tubes of expanding foam. The order was delivered promptly, which I was impressed with.

However, then the problems started. All products had a short shelf life—especially the expanding foam, which had less than three months left (about 20% of its full shelf life). On top of that, I was only sent three nozzles for the six tubes of silicone.

When I complained, I was simply told to reuse the nozzles. While I know that’s technically possible, it misses the point."

placed an order and received an email confirming, then nothing. had to chase regards delivery, and was told it would be monday and i would receive an email to confirm. monday came and went and no email so chased again.. got it the end but customer service is poor

I ordered 3 Sika Fastfix samples and they arrived 2 days later. Really impressed with this service. Thank you very much 👍

I have been looking everywhere for decent dust sheets have sent multiple buys back because they were inferior to ones I already possessed. I ordered for these guys and needed my order very quick. I contacted them via their WhatsApp on the website and received the best customer service support. The listened to my issue and went over and above to get my order out and keep me updated on the tracking. I will definitely order from them again and would recommend x

Used this company a couple of times. Found them rude & abrupt, thought maybe an off day. I then placed another order which I cancelled 3 hours later. Was told it was already on a pallet and shipped🤣🤣 no one ships pallets that fast. Charged me £125 plus vat to cancel order. This is Zoe’s reply email, apparently she works in sales and customer care. Maybe some more training required

Not money grabbing at all, we get charged for your error so we pass that to you. That’s the norm. If you had called us in time and the pallet was not loaded, we would of course not be charging you.

You had plenty of times yesterday to speak up and you didn’t. We are not mind readers

We did all we could, you have to hold hand up and admit you made error. It happens.

SIKA tech sheet attached advising UFH is fine where underfloor heating is incorporated into the sub
floor the heating must be turned off for at least 48 hours before, and until after, tiling.

Ordered 2 items on 5/6/26 with no mention they were out of stock. Received an email 3 days later with the headline - SHIPPED, so I ignored it, expecting the items to arrive shortly. I chased on 16/6/26 to be told there was a delay and it would be shipped the following week. Waited another week with no response so finally cancelled.

To be fair, I got responses fairly quickly when I chased, and was refunded in good time, but why accept orders when you don't have stock? And sending curt replies without any apologies for lengthy delays isn't great service is it.
Would suggest you shop elsewhere

Very disappointing service. Our order was not delivered properly, despite operatives being on site at the time. We sent video evidence to the company showing that the delivery was not properly attempted, but this was ignored. No delivery notification email was received by us, yet the company continued to rely on the courier’s version without providing proper evidence that any email was successfully delivered or received. This caused delay, inconvenience and disruption to our client work. We also requested the company complaints procedure, but this was not provided.
Very poor experience and not the way to conduct business.

Came across Sealants and Tools Direct during a search for a garden slasher.
Great price and paid a very reasonable non urgent courier.

Flippin' heck, the shlasher arrived less than 12 hours after ordering and super well packed.

I'm glad to see they used an independent courier (APC UK) and not "awful" Evri.

As a decorator and handyman, I shall be using Sealants and Tools Direct again!

I ordered and paid for a defender lock on 28th May 2026. Today 2.6.26 I rang to get an eta at my destination. Female put me on hold then said they do not have any and did not think they were getting any in stock. No attempt to contact me before I contacted them. Very shabby - total lack of customer care.my advice? AVOID ANY PURCHASES from this lack lustre company.

Absolutely appalling service. I ordered a part that never arrived, and when I called to resolve it, the situation escalated beyond belief. Despite my understandable frustration given the urgency, the male call handler responded by swearing at me—completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

To make matters worse, he then cancelled my order without resolving the issue, leaving me scrambling to source the part elsewhere at short notice. This has now put a major project worth over £50,000 on hold and seriously jeopardised my contract.

This level of service is beyond poor—it’s damaging. Avoid this company at all costs.

This was my first order from Sealants and Tools Direct. Just a quick note to say thx to them for their excellent efforts to get my last-minute order collated and shipped to me.
Both people on the phone were great and the shipment arrived next day, well packed and safe.

I placed my first order with this company on Wednesday night, and it was delivered Friday morning, but better yet, it was sent in a very sturdy cardboard box, and the items inside (mainly 600ml sealant foils) were incredibly well packed.
I shopped around and chose this company based on price alone, so the service received was way better than might be expected.
I will be back.

Ordered a hose pipe fitting. The price was very good, it was delivered very quickly and packaged with great care.

On this occasion both, delivery timeframe (incl time before shipping) and costs, are not good and require improvement. Also the prodcut we purchased is above average price.

Incredibly efficient and polite service. Most impressively, the coloured sealant I needed for builders to finish off my kitchen worktop arrived the next day. If only all suppliers were this good!
