Electrical item supplied with an EU plug...!
Fast delivery and cheaper than Curry's Business; but unfortunately a product was delivered with an EU plug, with no instructions or advice on a suitable UK adaptor. It was not even stated on your website that this was the case and one would expect buying an electrical item in the UK, it came with a UK plug (or supplied with a suitable BS approved adaptor)?
Having contacted you; I was re-directed to the manufacturer....
I really don't see the point in selling items in the UK market that are only supplied with a EU plug?

Fast delivery
Straight forward buying process and kept regularly updated on the status of delivery. Paid for next day delivery on a Sunday afternoon and it arrived on Monday morning which was perfect. Price was also very competitive and the best on the market for the spec required

Late Delivery, which is unusual for servers direct.
We started using Servers Direct as their team is usually excellent at getting things delivered on time.
In fact this is exactly why we switched to ordering from them, on this occasion this item was supposed to be delivered, but on the day of delivery the item was still not marked as dispatched, instead it now showed another delivery date. The product turned up one day after the second stated delivery date, which was a little inconvenient as it meant that I had to re-arrange my work schedule in order to be there to accept the delivery. Whilst this is not a massive issue and I appreciate things can happen, this has now meant that we have missed out delivery time to our customer and in turn means we have to schedule more engineering time, and reschedule a whole project. If the delivery time was accurate in the first instance we could have scheduled this accordingly and not wasted my time, the time of the engineering team, and would not look incompetent to our customers.
The item itself is of the usual top quality and I have no complaints about the quality of products from servers direct.

Ordered a HP Microserver Gen 10 Version…
Ordered a HP Microserver Gen 10 Version 2 Plus and on installation the server asks for a driver which we have been in contact with the Manufacturer. Server is still does not work. Unable to return as Servers Direct will not replace. Left with a server which is still not working no refund or replacement.
Ebuyer much more easier to deal with DOA products.

Terrible service
Terrible service. I purchased a server with a 2 TB hard drive. It arrived without the Hard Drive. They asked to me to take pictures of the partition by going to the search bar. But i have explained on 3 occassions that l do not have an OS because i have no hard drive. I have been transferred many times over the week and they keep saying theyll speak with a case person and come back in 6 hours. I have had the phone put down on my twice. Its disgusting. I still have a server l cannot use because it has no hard rive. The support is useless and do not resolve problems. They pass it on and say the same thing each time.
Having types this out 3 hours have passed and the company have repeatedly asked me if l am after an external Hard Drive which i lave repeatedly told them no its a 2TB internal Hard Drive. They have now said that it needs returning and l will have to wait 2 weeks for a replacement. The whole issue has gone on for 10 days of absolutely pointless communications. I am ow looking to buy a Hard Drive elsewhere for this machine l can not trust them to send me a refund or a new machine and l need to get a new server up and running asap. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
Im please to say that this evening l managed to purcahse a Hard Drive that will be delivered. NOT FROM THIS BUNCH. Its extra expense, but l do not have to wait for these people to get their act together. Their policy when something is missing or needs returning is ridiculous so just don't buy from them.
