Ordered 3 Gravity Varipoles - late delivery and brand new items appeared used.
Received items that were "brand new" but they appeared to be used. Ordered Gravity Varipoles- Rubber pads looked used. 3/3 had scratches and chipped paint. Paid £12 extra to get next day before noon delivery but did not get until 4 days later. Emailed about this but they said its not guaranteed and I asked for a refund and compensation for the delivery charge and used "brand new" items but still haven't heard from them. Have sent multiple emails but no replies. 2/3 items needed adjusting because it was loose.

“My order was a very frustrating experience. It took 11 days to receive both speakers, with several mix-ups, promised delivery dates that weren’t kept, and even a bizarre return template sent to me during the process. Communication felt confusing, and all I was offered in the end was a simple apology. For the price of these items, I expected far better service.”

When equipment is promised for delivery multiple times over several weeks, and customers are left repeatedly chasing updates, it directly impacts their livelihood and reputation. Receiving what feels like a generic, scripted apology simply isn’t enough.
Honesty and transparency go a long way. Providing accurate shipping information on your site, including geo-specific estimates, builds trust and customer loyalty. And when things do go wrong , as they did in my case,own the mistake and take meaningful steps to make it right. That’s how you maintain credibility and retain customers.

Easy from order to delivery. Product is fantastic. Had HK Audio Elements for 12 years and purchased Polar as back up but now using as main speakers.

They're simply 'sound'; ger it?:-)
It was straightforward matter to deal with Simply Sound, and I was pointed to a solution that fits the price point I was looking for. The slight downside is that I have not got blu-tooth on the device, which is a minor pain, but I think that's down to me not looking closely enough at the functionality. Overall tho', I'm happy :-)

Do not trust these people
Do not trust these people. They are all lovely and bubbly on the phone but they don’t dispatch when they say they will. They lie about delivery times and half their products they drop ship and don’t even stock so have no control on dispatch. They think the solution to everything is just refunding the shipping cost.
Bad shipping service is one thing but just not dispatching 3 days after a next day delivery order is place just because “they forgot” is completely unacceptable.

While this system usually works well, we acknowledge that issues can occasionally arise—particularly with courier services—and we’re always working to minimise these occurrences.

Purchased 2 RCF Subs one of the grills had a dent NO help whatsoever as I could not get a clear photo of the dent for some reason. As if I would make this up wont buy from these lot again

Speaker stopped working - battery expanded inside.
I brought a Mad luna speaker from this company. After having the speaker for 2 years, it stopped working. I contacted the company about this but because the warrenty had passed, they could not assist.
I opened the top to see what the issue may be, if it could be fixed, however the battery inside had expanded. I would be mindful of this when buying the large Bluetooth sound speakers.

As the warranty period had expired, we were unable to offer a repair or replacement under warranty, but we do appreciate you sharing your experience. Battery expansion can sometimes occur over time in rechargeable products, and your comments are very helpful for other customers to be aware of.

So after comparing different pa's came up with the hk polar 12 which I ordered from simply sound and lighting and I'm so glad I did , ordered 2 pa's for a great price on Tuesday and for a couple of quid extra got them next day . With a tracking app which allowed you to keep an eye on your purchase from collection to delivery, and was in pristine condition and bang on time . Thank you simply sound for being a great seller

Poor communication- major let down!
Ordered a large order on 04/04/25 and paid for NDD! (Which NDD didn’t happen)
Included in that order was 2 x eurolight tmh bars!
I had a phone call from the sales manager to say that these lights were imported (even though showing as IN STOCK on their website) and wouldn’t make the next day delivery!
I stressed to him that I had a tik tok filmed wedding in the 20/04/25 and absolutely need them by then! He said I would get them by the 17/04/25
By the 14/04/25 I had heard absolutely nothing from the company so I rang them to confirm these lights were coming!
It took them three days to get back to me to say the lights were held up in German customs and would not make the date I required!
Since that date I have had 4 gigs where I’ve needed a full rig! I have spent over £600 renting lights! (The cost of one of these lights)
The communication from this company is absolutely abysmal! Without me emailing them, they didn’t once email me to keep me updated! Although a lady in customer services told me numerous times that management would contact me! Today is 14/05/25 and they have just been delivered (41 days after ordering) without an email or phone call of apology!
I moved my business here but certainly wouldn’t use them again!
Very disappointed!! And have cost me a lot of money on top of the £2k i spent with them!!
