4 * at the moment - waiting to experience customer service post purchase.
The 'How-to' videos are excellent.
Customer Service prior to purchase was excellent. Ordered and received my NAS without any hassle and it arrived on time.
Have yet to try customer service after purchase - so can only give 4 starts at the moment. On past experience I have no doubt this will increase to 5 stars.

First time I have used Span.com
First time I have used Span.com. My email query was answered very quickly with some useful advice about which kit to buy which saved me £600 and also gave me a discount code which save a further 1% off the order. They kept me informed about progress every step of the way. Ordered on Day 1, dispatched on Day 2 and delivered at 8.20am on Day 3 so brilliant service. Very pleased and will use again.

Order-fulfillment is below par: as a citizen of the EU, living outside GB, I ordered a new NETSTOR product. This item requires an EU electirical plug different from the UK style plug. Both on the product page and on the comment space allowed in the online ordering, I explicitly chose (and requested) an EU plug. Guess what I received? Yes, an UK electrical plug!
Lesson for me: avoid this shop in the future.

I could not find a comment on your order related to the plug and the product page on this item does not stipulate the plug. However, we do always try to ensure that a non UK order will arrive with the correct plugs for the end user region. Sometimes however, this is not possible due to 1) The device having a hard-moulded PSU that cannot be adapted, 2) that the retail packaging is sealed and we are unable to classify the correct mains power to be changed, 3) that the region in question utilizes shared mains power connections, or 4) that the product is detailed to arrive with numerous mains regional adapters in it's hardware kit. We are sorry to hear that the absence of the plug on your order has led to your review of us services as below par and leaving yo uto wish to avoid us in future. However, we are still thankful for your feedback and nevertheless grateful for your order. Stay safe and thank you for choosing SPAN.

Excellent service. I bought a NAS + 2 drives. They offered to build a raid for me free of charge so that it worked straight out of the box. Couldn't be better really.
