Bike arrived with scratch and bent mech

I know i'll buy a really nice new bike maybe Diverge base carbon that's a good idea. Where shall I get it ? Specializedconceptstore OK seems like a good place to buy a specialized.

Bike turned up with scratch and rear mech was bent sent emails no reply sent more no reply. So I call get response the scratch buff it out or send it back.....the rear mech send in pics to prove its bent ok ill do that. Yep it's bent great what will you send me oh just the hanger? Even though its clear the mech is bent to ?

Ok ill try that wait two days no hanger comes. Send angry email about a bike that cost £2200 pounds and you cant change gear on it no reply.

Phone up get answer oh the guy who dealt with you isn't in today and by the way i've no idea what he sent but what he sent was delayed.

I say can you just send me a rear mech and hanger, I can find one online in 5mins. Ill check and call you in 10mins........ wait no call back. So now i'm writing this review.

Fix the bike I payed £2200 for ! Oh and the scratch any compensation or solution other than sending it back and vaguely suggesting i scratched it??? Nope.

Now going to ring and ask to talk to a manager see if that does anything. I do NOT recommend this company!

Update Hanger has arrived and new mech is being sent out next day delivery. I'll wait and see....

Shambles

Ordered couple items on 28th of May. Both were stated as 'in stock and ready to ship'. Received communication from 'Ruislip branch' on 11th that it was sent. That's 2 weeks, not 'up to 7 days' what they claim on the website.
16th today and still item has not been delivered. This is due to them choosing to send it via parcel2go and myHermes - this is absolute joke.
I could have the items in half the time if I ordered with reputable online store...

5 stars service

i ordered bike on 27 of may around 8pm (online for click and collect - Ruislip(London) shop, in the next day i received call from the shop for confimation , they told me around 10-14 days my bike gonna be ready for pick up , 2 weeks later , they called me again , and they said -its ready ! i just go pick up the bike , very helpfull staff , exellent service

Don't blame 'the system', you should be checking for online orders before you sell in store. If 'the system is slow' invest in better technology.

Why did it take 3 days and me contacting you to find this out, you should have contacted me.

Terrible customer service & now I have to wait 2-3 days to get my money back.

****ing pissed off. .

Short and simple of it

Short and simple of it. Ordered a bike, said in stock in their warehouse ready to dispatch within 4 days, got not call or correspondence from them about the bike after the purchase, so I emailed to then be told it was being put on order with suppliers and will take up to 14 days,

After the 14 working days nothing, so I chased again and was told it was going to be dispatched early the following week, got to Wednesday and still not a peep out of them. I. Emailed and messaged in Facebook, both got ignored, so I emailed and Facebooked again,finally got a reply on Facebook and was told I'd be called the next day. At this point we are over 3 weeks in. I get a call the next day, they tell me they have the bike but the forks got bent in transit, I'm calling bs on this as iv heard this excuse before. All in all absolute shambles

Absolute nightmare

Absolute nightmare! Avoid at all costs, sent me a bike with wrong sized parts, then was sent out a replacement crankset, guess what, wrong size as well, going to be weeks of running around bike shops trying to get it on the road

Specialized Concept Store Ruislip has…

Specialized Concept Store Ruislip has outstanding customer service. I recently had my Specialized Crux bike serviced by them. During the service, the mechanic identified a hairline crack in the frame. He automatically sourced a complimentary replacement frame for me, which arrived within a week, and then re-built my components on to the new frame. Furthermore, the rear wheel of my old bike was not compatible with the new frame (because it was a more recent model) and I have three sets of wheels. Specialized replaced or upgraded all three rear wheels at no charge so that they were 100% compatible. That's what I call great customer service and it's why my next bike purchase will be a Specialized.

Stafford store - avoid!!

Ordered some cycling tights from the Stafford store which sat in a processing state for 6 days, rang the store to ask what was happening and they said it had been sent and I should receive it the next day. I did receive it the next day but they sent the wrong size with no paperwork, no returns advice. Rang them again and I was told they don’t have my size and that I could drive to the store and get my size the next day, if I wanted to drive to the store I would have instead of ordering on the internet. Completely useless, avoid dealing with Stafford store!

charged for geometry anaylsis, no measurements taken, no written record

Had started with high hopes but unfortunately, hopes were crashed after finding out i was cheated out of a service.

Summary
Geometry test conducted, no information was written down in terms of measurements. When contacting the store to send me details so i could apply them to a new bike, was informed that nothing was written down and i should watch the provided video to analyze. When contacting by facebook, was asked for specific information then completely ignored.

History
Purchased a Sepcialized roubaix expert Di2 from Evans. Took it straight to Specialized concept store in York to get a gemotry bike and ridiing analysis. I was offered two dervices, 70 pound for the quick version, 150 more advanced which takes a few hours. I opted for the first.
We took saddle, pedal, bar measurements but bike engineer finally suggested (after me pushing him to be honest) that the bike was three sizes too small (have to post a review about Evans Preston. No analysis, heres your bike on on your way). I informed the engineer that i would be retunring the bike to evans. When i returned it to Evans Kendal (who were awesome!) they informed me that i should of been provided with written details of the analysis by concept. Admitedly, paid 50 instead of 70 but the numbers of seat, pedal etc are necessary now with my new bike.

failed response and Action:
- I emailed the specialised concept store in York who responded saying they didnt write down any numbers but i could watch a video of me on the bike to analyze. What??
- I contacted the store on facebook who kept on asking me for information but then totally ignored me.
- Required now to pay for service all over again.

needless to say, i will be taking my bike somewhere else for this servicse

Birmingham Store - Exceptional Customer Care

Have taken my Specialized Tarmac into the Birmingham store this morning for a crank change. Bearing in mind that I didn't actually buy the bike from here, the level of service in terms of courtesy, politeness and efficiency was outstanding.
I cannot rate this store enough!!

Nottingham Store - THE Best!

I have recently become a new customer of the Nottingham Concept store and my experience with them has been amazing. It started a few months ago when I called in to the store to research my new bike. Tome gave me all the time I needed to ask questions and he was very patient and explained everything in detail - and more! This initial visit was followed up a week later to go over some more points, this time with Nathan. Yet again, he was patient and thorough and offered me loads of time and knowledge. I eventually ordered my new bike and had a fitting with Phil. This experience was perfect for me as a relative novice as it enabled Phil to accurately set up my new bike to provide the best possible levels of comfort and performance whilst minimising the risk of injuries. Whilst my new bike was being assembled, the guys in the workshop kindly fitted some of my own accessories, such as Garmin computer and ancillaries etc, again this was done without fuss or any hassle. Once my bike was set up, Tom then gave me a thorough overview of my machine and explained in fine detail how everything worked, which was fantastic. The time it took really was appreciated and demonstrates the most professional levels of customer service and care. I couldn't be happier to be a customer of this store, and I'm looking forward to have my free 6-week inspection after many, many happy miles! Great work guys, keep it up!

Chester Specialized Concept Team

I have been buying my kids bikes from this store since it opened. The team are truely amazing and I would never consider shopping elsewhere for my bikes. Carl and his team are dedicated, professional but more importantly they care about you as an individual!!! You could be buying a kids bike at £120 or a bespoke bike at £10,000 plus. They treat everyone the same. A rare find in this world. Well done Chester and I can't wait to see my 3 boys faces on Christmas Day!!!!

Rolls Royce Service

I get good service from these guys, its one of the best, although many bike stores these days are amongst the very best Retail experiences when it comes to professionalism and service such is the competition and nature of the game now. They are busy service wise, but they went overboard to give me service when they could.

That said they were let down by one incompetent woman staff who never smiled, gave me cold service & fixed my cleats on a pair of s-Works shoes. I nearly had accident after the store as she failed to tighten them properly on both shoes I'm certain deliberately. This was early spring 2014, I've never forgotten it. It was an anomaly as normally these guys are the Rolls Royce of service.

Incredible level of service and knowledge

I bought a pair of clip in pedals from another store, but could not get it to work. Popped in to the Ruislip store, where they informed me the cleats I had were for a different pedal. They not only supplied me with the correct cleats, but then proceeded to set the cleats up correctly, offered free advice on my bike set up and then suggested insoles based on arch profile.

I ended up buying a lot more cycling kit as I felt obliged given the amount of advice given to me, all in all a first class shopping experience and I will never buy from anyone else again!

Outstanding Service & Very Knowledgeable

I spent five hours in the specialized concept store in Ruislip having a bike fit session. I had been troubled by many injuries resulting from previous fractures leaving my legs different lengths. The expert bike fitter took great care in adjusting my bike and shoes to fit my body, and ever since I have been riding pain free! Fantastic knowledgeable staff, who took the time needed to do a really careful job. Thank you very much.
