Worst airline they cancel mostly and because of them you will loose much more I loose 500 as platform fee and then 2k when I booked some flight again

Worst airline. Worst service. Rude staff. Worst in every manner. I'd rather travel by bus than traveling by their airlines. Staff is not cooperative at all. Just focusing on ways to loot more money from travellers. Definitely do not recommend traveling via this airline
Parents travelled on spicejet from dxb…
Parents travelled on spicejet from dxb to pnq for medical reasons, sole operator of direct flight, they very conveniently left their luggage in dubai, which had their reports, causing delays and tests to be redone unnecessarily, while leaving the patient in unnecessary pain for an additional 3 days, that's when they got their luggage delivered to them in a very unprofessional way. One staff said - if it's that urgent, why don't you come and pick it from the airport?
Unprofessional, substandard and absolutely ridiculous service.
They want a 100% of your money, but will deliver on 40%.

One of the poorest services and staff attitude is out of the world having checked in 2 bags at the same time from dubai staff said one was checked in late and didn't arrive and one did !!! Did not make sense,when questioned them and spoke to duty manager at that time on 24th June night mr vinay...his statement was I don't care....really!!!!! Later hia collegue calls me to infirm that the 3rd party was given my bg to be delivered the next day but they delayed to deliver and he does not know when it will be delivered !!!!!!What non complainant and baddd service been more than 38 hours today being the 26th January and still don't know where the bag is apparently someone called me at IST 1050 am to 1110am and denied to reveal his identity from the customer service when asked to escape the identity...thus staff actually said thank u and hung up on me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...spice jet should reconsider upgrading their rude and irresponsible staff now still await bag today heing the 26th.....way to goooo spicejet........kudos

We were traveling from Ahmedabad to ayodhya on 29th February 2024 at 5:55 am as we arrived at the airport our flight delayed till 13:30, then at 13:00 hours, another delayed till 14:30, at the end our flight took off at 17:30 in total over 12 hours delayed it's completely unacceptable I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS AIRLINE TO ANYONE, IT'S COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE.
SpiceJet is a SCAM in Aviation Industry
SpiceJet proved to be incredibly disappointing and untrustworthy in my recent experience. Traveling with my family, a total of six individuals, we embarked on a journey from Amritsar (ATQ), India to DXB (Dubai) on February 24, 2024. The scheduled departure time was 08:40 AM, with a connecting flight from Dubai to London Heathrow at 14:30 Hrs via Emirates. Our ticket was booked through the booking.com portal as a single ticket, rather than separate bookings to facilitate the connection.
However, our experience with SpiceJet quickly turned sour. Departing from ATQ, the flight was delayed by 55 minutes. Upon arrival in Dubai, we encountered further frustration as we remained onboard the aircraft for over an hour and a half without disembarkation. Initially, we were given excuses regarding weather conditions, despite the clear and sunny day in Dubai, and optimal weather conditions for takeoff. Eventually, a member of the ground staff revealed the truth - the delay was due to SpiceJet's scheduling issues and the busy nature of Dubai airport.
This delay resulted in us missing our connecting flight to London Heathrow. Expecting assistance from SpiceJet, we hurried to their counter hoping for a resolution. However, to our dismay, they refused to take responsibility or provide any alternative solutions. Their staff was unhelpful and dismissive, leaving us stranded in Dubai with our children. Consequently, we were forced to purchase new tickets at a staggering cost of £4061 to secure our journey back to the UK.
I feel compelled to caution others against falling victim to this airline's deceptive practices. SpiceJet's lack of accountability and disregard for customer welfare make them a company to avoid at all costs.

Spice Jet Scam
I would not like to give even one star to Spice Jet. I took the Jaipur Dubai flight on 3rd January 2024 with my husband and the two ladies on the counter were busy gossiping about their seniors said the luggage weighed 77kgs and I needed to pay as the allowance was for 60kgs, we paid 17,000 INR, there were no printed tags on the luggage only handwritten and on landing in Dubai the same luggage weighed 66 kgs. I complained to customer care through email, and to my surprise the customer service representative Ms. JAIPREET KOUR replied saying that the allowance was 60kgs, she did not even bother to read my complaint (guess the staff is unable to read the English language), in my entire email I mentioned that the weighing of the luggage wasn't done correctly and the customer complaint did not even bother to read and never did after that they made effort to resolve the issue.
This is to make everyone aware of the scam carried out by Spice Jet. The most useless airlines and the pathetic customer service.
I like them
I travel frequently to India, and I’ve used pretty much every domestic airline there at one time or another. I *like* SpiceJet - of course I’ve had some experiences with them which were less good than others, but I appreciate that circumstances can be outside their control. Regardless of which airline I book, I always have one eye on other possible flights in case there’s an issue - there’s no such thing as a cast-iron plan when flying halfway across the world!
Two positives for SpiceJet; last time I went, my flight was cancelled, but the desk staff at Delhi - despite having a whole lot of people to help at the same time - rebooked me on an earlier flight without the slightest question. And for my next trip, I foolishly forgot to write down my PNR, and the confirmation email went astray, so I had to email customer relations. Again without any question or fuss, they emailed me back promptly with my PNR and a copy of my itinerary - phew!
India’s worst airline
Awful airline. The check in staff at Goa were pretty useless and the cabin crew on my flight from Goa to Mumbai were abysmal. One lady was completely incompetent and failed to understand basic information and the other was beyond rude and literally yelled at us on the flight. It was so embarrassing. After the flight, other passengers actually asked us what happened and why she treated us the way she did.
I’ve heard Spicejet has nosedived in quality and is on its last legs. I can see why. Never again.
Misbehaved at the check-in counter by Spicejet staff
I was travelling from Mumbai to Dubai on 29.12.2023, when I reached at the check-in counter with 3 baggage (2 small cartons and 1 bag), the total weight of my luggage was around 25kg, at the counter the lady has told me I have allowed only 2 bags, I told her it is not mentioned in the my ticket, I requested her to accommodate one small carton, One of spicejet staff came to me and merged both cartons in one, the lady and the ground manager at the check-in counter has refused to take and told me I have to pay extra money for the same, I told them, I am regular traveler, I know the rules and regulations but both has started argued with me, they started shouting on the spicejet staff who helped me to merged both cartons in one carton, the person who helped me came to me and removed the packing and make it in 2 cartons as previous, I had
taken 1 carton in my hand and noted the names of both employees, after that the manager has started argument with me, I told him When flight will be late for 3 to 4 hours always we are cooperating to you so sometime you have to also cooperate with customers, He snatched the carton from me and told 2 parcels are not allowed in the flight I have to pay the money for 1 box, when I was started shouting on him, why you had snatched my carton, he has thrown my carton and told me he will not allow to board the flight. I am shocked to see the behavior of the staff. I am requesting you give them proper professional training.
Worst experiences with refunds
In July, a flight I booked through an agency was delayed, so I canceled the flight and was promised a 100% refund by SpiceJet. The SpiceJet agent at the Delhi airport stamped my ticket, noting the full refund. I then submitted the documents to the agency and requested a refund. The response was to provide proof of PNR, flight information, passenger name, refund amount and currency. SpiceJet claims that the refund process has already been completed with the agency and that they don't have a separate documentation form. We included the email we received from SpiceJet (with all the information) and explained the situation, but Kiwi.com only asked for "supporting documentation" and did not offer any alternatives.
It is the airline's responsibility to provide proof of PNR, flight information, passenger name, refund amount and currency, etc. It's shocking that they don't even have such a form in place. This is the kind of documentation you'd expect to receive if you had to cancel a hotel or car rental to reschedule your flight, and the airline should be obligated to issue it.
The airline says it has already refunded Kiwi.com, and Kiwi.com says it has never received a refund from the airline.
After six months of exchanging dozens of emails with both parties, I still haven't received a refund.
Where is my money?

Terrible airline
Flight delayed by 11 hours with 3 different departure times given. No alternative available. Manager I spoke to rude and unhelpful, just told me to try to book on another airline. This airline is ruining the reputation of manohar airport and airlines in India in general. The airport and all relevant authorities should look into this airline and preferably revoke its licence to operate

you have no option to give less than one star so i have given that, though they don't deserve even this. I have booked flight for DEL-PUNE Sector for my official visit. The flight started delaying initially from 9:50am to 3PM then 4:15 pm, then 4:45PM and last known time was 5:20PM. So a total delay of 7hrs 30 minutes . All i could get an assurance of refund in i want to, and nothing else . They dont have any option to book me into another flight as i have categorically mentioned them that i was on official tour and i have a connecting conveyance to take for further travel of 7 hours.one delay had effected the entire plan and wastage of one full day and lifetime of harassment.
Now after going this, i think this is normal for the SPICEJET THUGS.
So anyone could tell me if i could take this to some platform to seek compensation.
SpiceJet is the worst and pathetic
SpiceJet is the worst airline in the world. My last 5 spicejet experiences. 1 flight cancellation, 1 airport change, 3 flights depart delayed twice to thrice.
SpiceJet interior experience is worst, their on-ground services are pathetic. Their customer service is unresponsive. Their timeliness is the worst. Please avoid this worst service provider if possible.

Outside of India, booking a flight online?...DON'T USE SPICEJET! Received a confirmation number but no email (luckily I took a screenshot). Money was taken from my account.
I followed up and they said the flight order had not gone through and I would receive a refund.
1 month later and after chasing 4 times still no refund.
So no refund and no flights. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.. FRAUDULENT and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The issue is I think with OTP (one time password) when abroad but this does not excuse their ignoring refunding customers they have taken money from. Theft.
They have my money and despite promising to refund do not. My last resort is to go via my card company to get the money back.
One of the 3rd class airline
This is the 3rd class airline and fraud airline. They have no time table - frequently chage the timing, fully harrazment the passanger during the whole journy plan. Never book the tickets of SPICEJET even they give you a free ticket. Because they spoile your full travel plan.
Spicejet's Ruthless, Illegal Conduct and Worst Customer Care
I recently booked a ticket from Chennai to Delhi on 6th September 2023. But, sadly I had to encounter the worst experience with Spicejet, where I was denied onboarding on a mere request of writing only 2 words on the excess baggage receipt - "Laptop Bag" after payment of the excess baggage charges for the laptop bag that I was carrying. Such conduct from Spicejet was very unprofessional and dissatisfactory. When a customer pays the ticket price, he owns the right to travel through the flight and taking away this right is illegal in all terms. I can not understand if there is a policy of spicejet to charge amounts for a laptop bag, what made the team cancel my onboarding on the request of adding these 2 words - "Laptop Bag" on the excess baggage charge payment receipt.
To my utmost surprise, when I raised this with Spicejet's escalation points, they are saying that I have only refused to travel and they did not deny onboarding. This is completely false, as any sensible person can vouch for it - if I would have to refuse travel I would not have even paid the excess baggage charges in the first instance. This is a pure betrayal from spicejet. Atleast, they should have the guts to accept what they did.
I then also went to google to check on the reviews of Spicejet where I found that many customers faced the similar issue where they were denied onboarding by Spicejet staff and then Spicejet later took their steps back to say they did not deny the onboarding.
Because of them I was left helpless but to book another flight late in that day. I had to reach Delhi urgently but because of Spicejet staff, this was unduly delayed. They have even refused to refund the ticket price.
