Wait in line indefinitely.
Same phone call, two worlds.
No option to update address online in the big 2026. On hold with Sumo for an hour. During this time a message plays over and over, "Set up your new property in less than ten minutes!". Online portal is extremely lack lustre. Also, we got a notice of a rate increase only four days after signing up with Sumo.
Would not recommend if you love your life and want time spent well.

Sumo customer service officer went above and beyond excellence. I was given the right advice and assistance for somebody struggling to pay their bills due to some unfortunate events. Now I will be able to be on track paying my bills on time with a payment plan. I recommend signing up with Sumo they have affordable electricity plans and are trustworthy the best part is they listen to your needs and provide you the best professional service and solutions. I cannot wait to get gas and electricity in one provider like Sumo. Thank you for the energy and the greatest customer service you provide.

I had amazing support from Marta on Thursday, 4 June, when she assisted me with applying for the Utility Relief Grant. She was kind, patient, and understanding throughout the process, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making what could have been a stressful experience much easier to manage. I truly appreciated her support and professionalism, and I am very grateful for all of her help. Customer service operator was friendly and helpful and solved our issue straight away. It was slightly difficult to understand his accent. He offered a newer, cheaper rate and package. I felt it's a bit rough that we have to pay a reconnection fee when just changing the package from one partner to another partner when we live at the same address and payment will be the same etc etc. It's just a name change - why does it have to be reconnected???
Very calm
I was able to get a call back rather than waiting on hold. Customer service agent was a very calm, clear speaker who resolved my request in a single call.
Haven't had a chance to even use Sumo… and am already disappointed
Haven't had a chance to even use Sumo and yet here I am having to leave a horrible review. Tried to register with Sumo but after taking every detail, i get an sms saying they do not service my address. However, they are holding on to my meters so i cannot connect to another provider. You end up waiting impossibly long to connect to someone - I am still waiting for someone to get back to me on this impossible situation. Wow.
