Good product, customer service very friendly and efficient in solving problems

I am very pleased with my experience at Tailor Store. The quality of the trousers is excellent, from the fabric to the craftsmanship. What really stood out to me was the free re-fabrication after I updated my measurements. That level of service is rare and shows real confidence in their product.

Customer support was exceptional throughout the process, responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Overall, a smooth and reassuring experience. I will definitely order again and can highly recommend Tailor Store.

What a terrible experience I have had with this deeply unscupulous company.

I bought a shirt a couple of years ago and the experience was very good, great fit first time and promt delivery. Things have definately gone downhill since then.

I place two orders a few days apart, first was a pair of chinos and a polo shirt which were sent to me, probably a little slower than normal due to the Christmas demand. The chinos were ridiculously big on me and looked awful. The polo was not too bad apart from the collar which was very big. I didn't want to make a big issue of it as I usually wear a polo with open collar. The trousers are unwearable so i requested a remake and sent some photos. There was no discussion about the remake, about the sizing, just a notification that it was being done. I checked the measurements of the remake and definately had some concerns that they would still be too big.

The second order I hade a few days after I ordered the chinos and polo was for a suit and shirt. Due to the poor fit of the polo shirt I checked the measurements of the shirt. Despite the fact that i have lost quite a lot of weight since the first shirt I ordered two years ago they somehow worked out that my neck has grown by two inches. I contacted well in advance of the stated delivery date to advise that I don't want them to send a shirt that I know doesn't fit. My concerns were not taken seriously and taylor Store tried to rush the, ill fitting shirt out to my despite my objections. They were thwarted in this by the poor service of the delivery company DHL eCommerce. This I think is the poor relation of DHL Express who are generally pretty good.

The approach of Taylor Store customer service is to basically blame the customer. They claim they have great customer service but I think its only great from the corporate perspective rather than a customer perspective. having grown sick of trying to get my point across and have my wishes and concerns paraphrased in such a way as to make the problem be about me and with me rather than their garments not fitting and the fact that I object to having ill fitting garments rushed out to me against my wishes.

The tiring email exchanges and the repeated failures of the currier to provide a basic currier service wore me down and I got to the point that I just don't want any Taylor Store garment in my house, let alone to wear them. I requested a refund on both orders and they agreed to a partial refund on the order of the suit and shirt. Consequently I raised a dispute through PayPal and the partial refund on the suit and shirt was made up to a full refund while the chinos and polo are still disputed. Typically, Taylor Store have only provided part of the story around the request for the refund against the chinos and polo, please keep in mind that I only have an ill fitting polo and an unwearble pair of chinos for my £150. I have utterly given up with their terrible currier as they have you waiting in and claim to have attempted to deliver but didn't get an answer. The first time, I wasn't in, fair enough although I had less than 24 hours notice to make arrangements to be in. The second time they lied about attempting the delivery and the third time was basically a knock and run, by the time I got downstairs they were gone. I refuse to make any further arrangements with these cowboys.

My advice is to avoid this company like the plague. Dealing with them is a miserable experience. I have no confidence in their abaility to make a good quality well fitting garment. The customer service is really poor due to that way they avoid taking responsibility and make every problem and concern something to do the customer or the customer's feelings or perspective. Try to make a complaint and it get ignored. Ask for the issue to be escalated to someone with authority to help, that gets ignored. At one point they were trying to say the problem was due to them not speaking English as a first language.

Terrible, rip off, awful company avoid. I await the BS response to this review.

Edit in response to Taylor Store reply: You know exactly what to do to resolve the chino's and polo shirt order - refund me in full. I'll gladly return the ill fitting garments to you to do with as you please.

The first shirt was a little tight, but I was kindly helped through the whole proces of getting it ajusted. No cost and Quick response.

I had a fantastic experience with Tailor Store. They made an excellent made-to-measure clergy shirt for me, and the quality is outstanding.

The customer service is incredibly fast, friendly, and accurate — they really take the time to help you. The fit is absolutely perfect, and even the aftercare is impressive.

Nice quality, good service

Tailor Store offers a fantastic range of options. I own several shirts from them and have no complaints about the quality.
That said, they have never been cheap (understandably), and prices have steadily increased over the years. I’m not sure whether lower prices would be sustainable, so this may just come down to my own budget constraints. Additionally, since the shirts are manufactured in the Far East, delivery delays can occur.

TL;DR, pricing is the main reason I’m not a more frequent customer.
