We used talbots to buy and sell our house. We hit a lot of the usual issues during both but talbots were quick to respond and dealt with any issues that arose during a very stressful time. It wasn’t always straight forward but Deborah, Chloe and team always went above and beyond to help I can’t thank them enough.

Absolutely dreadful service. Avoid at all costs
We used Talbots Law for both our house sale and purchase, and the experience was truly awful from start to finish.
Communication was appalling, with emails regularly going unanswered for weeks, phone calls ignored and constant chasing required just to establish what was happening. On multiple occasions, we were told information was outstanding when it had already been provided, resulting in completely unnecessary delays.
There appeared to be very little urgency, accountability or proactive management of our transactions. Even getting a straightforward update was an uphill battle. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating and stressful, made considerably worse by the very people we were paying to guide us through it.
I genuinely cannot think of a single positive thing to say about the service we received. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for conveyancing services.

I had a generally positive experience…
I had a generally positive experience working with the team on my recent new-build purchase. Anyone who has bought a new-build knows how tight developer deadlines can be and how much paperwork is involved, but they handled the legal side efficiently and kept things moving forward.
Communication was solid overall—queries were addressed promptly, and key updates regarding contracts and completion timelines were explained clearly without overwhelming legal jargon. While there were a couple of brief delays waiting on developer responses, the solicitor stayed on top of the chase and ensured we exchanged and completed without any major hitches.
A dependable, professional service that got the job done. I’d happily recommend them to anyone navigating a new-build purchase.

Choose Talbots but stay away from Worcester branch!
I would recommend Talbots Law as we previously used Stourbridge. However, I would absolutely stay away from the Worcester branch!!!
Get you to do most of the work despite you paying them. Had my name spelt wrong on documentation. Had the dates wrong on documentation. Both of which I spotted the error, not them. I was then asked to pay a bill of £150 which thank god I queried as then turned out it was an 'error' and I didn't too. Then to be overpaid when the sell went through and had to send money back! Shambles.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. I have bought and sold many houses, and have never had such a seamless transaction. Jacob and Preesha couldn't do enough for us. Questions were answered immediately. Nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish, the sale was completed in four weeks!
