Faulty table construction
I purchased a table and four chairs from this company in 2023.
The table became unstable and unsafe to use.
On checking we found that only one screw had been used to secure the rectangular piece of wood that holds the table leg in place.
I sent photographs to That's Furniture. Their responses was that the tables are constructed at their factory and they do not have any spare parts.
I had numerous emails from the customer service department reiterating that no spare parts were available however I have now received the part and the table is stable.
The table and chairs I am happy with but the customer service at this company is not good.
I have all the emails from Thats Furniture that confirm the information I have provided. If the table had not been dismantled we would not have identified the missing screw. The photos sent to That's Furniturec confirmed this. With only one screw in the leg support structure over time the table become unstable.
The table and chairs I am happy with and my review is factual.

The item was supplied in 2023. At no point during 2023 or 2024 did you report any concerns regarding defects, instability, or safety.
Your first contact regarding any issue was made in October 2025, over two years after delivery and well outside the 12 month manufacturing warranty. Despite having no obligation to do so, we still agreed to assist you purely as a goodwill gesture.
The part you required is an internal structural component that is not designed to be accessed or dismantled by customers. It is not a stocked spare part and cannot be taken from other items.
We therefore had to obtain confirmation and availability from our supplier before a replacement could be arranged. Under these circumstances, the lead time of just over four weeks was entirely reasonable and was clearly communicated to you throughout.
It must also be placed on record that the table had been dismantled by yourself, including internal components that should never be removed. This level of disassembly was unnecessary to identify any issue and may have contributed to the condition shown in your photographs.
Furthermore, had a fixing genuinely been missing from manufacture, instability would have been present from the point of first assembly. It would have been expected that this was reported at the time of purchase, not more than two years later.
Throughout this process, our team remained professional, responsive, and committed to reaching a resolution, despite being repeatedly met with threats of third party action and the posting of negative Trustpilot reviews while the matter was actively being handled.
For clarity, the replacement part was dispatched on 13 November 2025 and delivered on 14 November 2025.
We are committed to helping our customers wherever possible, even outside warranty periods, but we also believe it is important that the situation is represented accurately, particularly when our team made every effort to resolve an issue reported more than two years after delivery.
