Would recommend

My paddle board failed after 3yrs

My paddle board failed after 3yrs. After contacting the team this issue was dealt with swiftly, communication was prompt and professional, resolving the issue and sending me a new board quickly, accommodating my requests . I can't fault the customer service I received, it was exemplary.

Ordered a brand new sup and paddle 7th…

Ordered a brand new sup and paddle 7th July. The carry bag it came in arrived with a big hole in the middle where stitching had come apart. Emailed them start of August then followed up 4 more times in August. It’s now 30th September and they’ve never replied. Was a gift and fairly pricey one, do not use this company

Awful at answering any problems/ emails

Bought a foil that I realised wouldn't work with the board I use. Distant sell so they should be organising return.

Offered to call me to help and never did and have ignored all my emails since. I will have to drive the foil back to them, to get my refund which is over 2 hours.

Extremely poor to not call, or even email back.

While it’s disappointing to read your version of events, it’s important to clarify that it does not reflect the full circumstances. You placed an order for a mast and fuselage—not a complete foil setup. The mast features a twin US box fitting, which is a universal industry standard compatible with your foilboard, as confirmed in our prior communications. The reason for returning the items appears to be your preference not to proceed with the Quick Mount system, which is exactly what was ordered.

On Tue, 10 Jun 2025 at 10:36 AM you messaged to say that you have lost your 5% off sign up code. We replied to confirm that we do not offer such a code but that we do offer a £5 off on sign up to our marketing emails. Following confirmation, you placed your order at 11:08 AM after successfully applying for finance and selecting next-day delivery. On the same day at 11:16 AM you then emailed to ask "Can I also just check the Duotone AL mast quick mount is okay with 1000 wing or 750?". Which we replied to at 13:35 PM confirm it does that you then acknowledged at 13:56 PM. You then called our offices at 15:34 PM—over an hour after our same-day dispatch cut-off—requesting to cancel your order. We removed your items from our shipping manifest accordingly. However, shortly after, you called again requesting that the order go ahead and be dispatched, which we did. Later that evening at 23:30, while our offices were closed, you emailed to cancel the order again—even though it had already been shipped.

Your order was delivered by DHL on 11th June. We reached out to offer assistance in understanding your concerns and to help guide you towards the correct setup. You provided a limited one-hour window for a call, which we unfortunately couldn’t accommodate. We have since requested an alternative time to speak but have not received a response.

Throughout this time, and over the weekend, our store has remained open and our phone lines available—Monday to Friday (9:00–17:00) and weekends (10:00–16:00). While we appreciate that you no longer wish to proceed with the items, they have been delivered and are now subject to our clearly published Returns Policy.

For clarity, while the Distance Selling Regulations do provide important consumer protections, they do not entitle buyers to free returns in cases of ordering error or change of mind. Our returns process outlines the necessary steps, and we do not offer free returns in such cases. Given the size of your items, a personal return may be impractical; however, services like the Post Office or Parcel Monkey are effective alternatives.

Once we receive your returned items in line with our returns policy, we will process the cancellation and issue a refund or cancel your finance agreement accordingly.

Ordered a sale item on Monday…

Ordered a sale item on Monday lunchtime, had it delivered to my work address as no one would be home and it was waiting for me on Tuesday morning. The board was an absolute bargain and the swiftest delivery ever.
Really easy to deal with and free postage too!

I’m diagnosed with acute disabilities including Huntington’s Disease, Autism Spectrum OCD and ADHD and on PIP Benefits
I purchased a Naish Cross foil sup and the traction pad became unglued within two weeks so took advice from Citizen Advice. They said that it was covered for either “like for like” or full refund.
Well over a year after I have gone to mediation with UKICC My Father died during so the stress has really compounded my mental state and anxiety.
At the age of sixty I have only had one worse company to have the misfortune to deal with being Southern Water. Help yourself by buying elsewhere!

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Ordered an expensive item 2 weeks ago with a 4 day shipping time. The product is still yet to be dispatched and communication is proving very difficult. A phone call uncovered that due to ‘premises relocation’, my order was not at the warehouse but it would be found and prioritised. 5 days later and no updates. Poor communication and customer service.

Edit - It gets worse. Following the negative review, I finally received an email to say that my item hadn’t been despatched as the member of staff needed to cut the paddle to length was away (I had been told by another member of staff that the company don’t offer paddle cutting so members of staff clearly are unsure about services they offer). I was told it would be cut early the next week and I would be notified when this was completed and that the paddle was dispatched. Another 9 days later and still absolutely no update. Clearly not a priority to them at all. It’s now nearly a month since my order was placed. Stay away.

Excellent comms, excellent customer service

I was very surprised to see such a low rating for this company given the excellent customer service experience that I have had. It looks like this is a place for spiteful customers to have a moan when they’ve not gotten their way.

Had a great experience with Will and the SUP co. The best prices, fast postage, great comms, and excellent customer care and after sales support. They went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had. Thanks again.

Aweful customer service

Aweful customer service . Still not had refund for purchase in May. Product never arrived , phoned and told another sent , never happened. Emailed several times with absolutely no response. Still no refund .

Hi Rachel, in your review you list your 'Date of experience: June 30, 2024'. We have looked through all orders between the 29th June to 1st July (including cancelled orders and refunds processed) and can find no record of an order from anyone with name 'Rachel'. However, you do say in your review that you made a purchase in May. We only have one purchase (some paddleboard repair glue) for May from a 'Rachel' that was returned to us via DPD for stating 'Delivery refused' along with a picture of the calling panel outside a block of flats. I see from our support tickets via help@thesupco.com that you contacted us once via email on the 13th May which was responded to via email on Tue, 14 May 2024 at 1:10 PM. This said it would be resent once more. If this is indeed you. Please contact us via help@thesupco.com so it can be resolved. Thank you.

Watch the refund policy!

I bought 2 body warmers from this company on 11/05/2024.
Order number #39076 (WEB39076.
Because of poor quality I returned them on 21/05/2024.
The company refused a refund and insisted that they had not received the return.
I then provided a tracking number and a photo from the Parcelforce courier proving the return had happened.
Only then did the company refund me.
If I had not tracked the return they would have kept the order and my money

Mon, 17 Jun 2024 at 6:29 PM - you send an email accusing usof fraud and attempt to extort the cost of your return for your unwanted itemsto us.
Mon, 17 Jun 2024 at 7:00 PM - we do not comply with yourrequest for the cost of your return. To which you then go on leave a 1-starreview.  
Once again, we apologise for the delay in processing yourrefund and we are grateful that our recommendation of items returned be insuredand tracked saved any further delay. While we are still unclear on how yourreturn was not processed effectively, supplying your tracking informationsooner would have also meant this could have been resolved quicker.

Good advise and excellent experience

We needed two boards for the family. I decided to pop into the Southampton Showroom for some advice. I spoke to Tony and Will - their wealth of knowledge, and experience helped me choose the boards—perfect centre. Jobe 12.6 is a rocket, and Fanatic Ray Air Premium 13.6 is excellent for big guys and long expeditions!

Starboard airline sprint purchase

Have just purchased another board from the sup Co, starboard sprint airline and can't fault them, order arrived next day as promised board seems excellent. I had a question about the tensioning cable so called them the guy on the phone was most helpful and answered my question and sounded very knowledgeable. Have been using the sup Co for years now and with service like this will continue to do so.

Ruined my paddle boarding trip !!!

Ruined my paddle boarding trip !!!

I ordered a paddleboard with the understanding that it was IN STOCK and if I ordered within 3 hours would get it NEXT DAY. (I chose this supplier for that very reason as was going on a paddle boarding holiday the day after tomorrow).

Anyway not only do they have NO STOCK (THEY ARE A DROP SHIPPER DIRECT FROM SUPPLIER) Their communication with their suppliers is so bad they had no idea the next day delivery cut off had changed.

Too late to order from another supplier now !!!!

Long and Short of it i dont get my paddle board and they dont care - no offer of reparations or compensation for ruining my holiday.

If your thinking these guys are your friendly paddle boarding supplier and have their items in stock as their website says they do. STOP before you get stung too - they just drop ship direct from the manufacturer and probably know very little about the paddleboard your about to buy as they dont have it in stock and have probably never seen or tried one - just a business out to fleece you of your money with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE to back up their websites image.

As the UK's largest paddleboarding stockist and retailer we have a next day delivery cut off time at 1500hrs as well as premium shipping options of next day before 1030 and also Saturday delivery. Unfortunately, in this rare instance the model you selected was out of stock with us and held by one of our many suppliers and due to their delivery cut off we were unable to ship your order on a next day service.

Your 0% finance option used for the purchase of your order has been cancelled and the 10% deposit refunded to you.

Once again our apologies for this and that we were not able to fulfill your order.

Have recently purchased a SIC Okeanos…

Have recently purchased a SIC Okeanos after a long time searching for the perfect 14foot board for a big fella like me.
The folks at the Sup Co were sooo helpful from start to finish, kept me informed of what was happening and even applied rail tape for me before arranging shipping. Looking forward to spending Christmas vouchers there after Christmas along with my rewards points.

Good Service

Purchased a Jobe SUP package a couple of weeks ago. Delivery was scheduled for a Monday due to the order being placed on Friday. The board arrived on Saturday which was fantastic!
On first use of the board it was apparent that the locking clip was missing from the paddle. This was not the fault of The Sup Company, the package box was sealed from manufacture.
I contacted the SUP company on return from my holiday. Clips were out of stock with supplier. A replacement paddle was sent instead - First Class!

Superb customer service

I have purchased 2 boards , 2 bags a carbon paddle and some other stuff of these guys.
The first board i changed my mind and the customer service sorted the change out no probs.
The second board i purchased with a board bag that could have been better , customer service saw the review i left for the bag contacted me immediately and hey presto a new bag arrived within 3 days , and that was over a weekend .
Tony and the team have excellent customer service , they went past the extra mile for me , many thankd

Really bad, they take treat you as a stupid person

Here is the sequence of things, the 13th October 2021 i contact the SUP company because I had a problem with a product, no answer. I contact again on the 18th of the same month, no answer. I contact again the 18th of July of 2022, no answer.
Today I did write some feedback into their system.
I did have an inmediate response, but interestingly I can not answer to their feddback give, the system does not allow you I guess. In the message they ask me kindly to write an email, which I did, no response.

Would definitely use them again

Bought a Fanatic 12’ 6 from the website which was very easy to use use. Followed this up with a phone call the next morning and was told it had already been dispatched and would be with me the next day. Didn’t get the guy’s name but he was super helpful. Board arrived mid morning as promised . Would definitely recommend.
