Ordering directly from Traxxas has been unnecessarily frustrating. My first order was randomly cancelled, and when I called, customer service couldn’t even tell me why. They suggested it may have been because my billing and shipping addresses were different, except they were the same.

I reordered, and now their shipping restrictions won’t allow UPS to hold my package at an Access Point, change the delivery date, or make any useful delivery changes. I work during normal delivery hours, and Traxxas told me they cannot change anything for “security reasons” and would rather have UPS return the package and refund me.

Their ordering and shipping policies are ridiculous. I’ll buy Traxxas products from another retailer from now on.

placed order for $260 eventually received an e mail order has been canceled, no explanation.
I called hoping to find out why canceled and a refund.
3 calls each time they picked up and either disconnected or hung up.. I then attempted chat you can type message hit send, eventually it will return an error message stating internet is down. my internet is on line. I assume they are not the only outlet for item I wanted so I'll shop around, while they have similar items they did not offer a replacement or alternative to my purchase.
but going forward I will not purchase anything branded Traxxas.

get this, recently bought a new trx4 with the red blazer body played with it outside for maybe 30 minutes brought it inside charged the battery, cleaned the truck and left it alone, later today i try to play with the truck, ABOUSLTLY will not bind. called customer service because i caught wind that they are pretty helpful..... yeahhh not this time. i explained my problem to the person and he sounded very annoyed to even answer the phone and during the conversation he was very poor in offering help, like excuse me yall are the company of the product. he later proceeded to tell me they the batteries i've just bought and taken out of the packaging must be bad, mind yall i bought a 12 back of battery's and the remote takes 4 of em, is no way in hell all 12 battery's are duds but i didn't let the ruin the conversation i tried asking some troubleshooting questions like, if i needed to replace something where should i start yeah no...... he sounded absolutely just miserable talking like he ready to be off the phone and basically said take it to a hobby shop, like i understand we are over the phone and it's not much help as is but cmon man do better, yalls products are so fun to play with but are just so poorly built or customer service just is god awful.

Stupidly bought a TRX6 Hauler here in the UK and straight out of the box the electrics failed, 2 servo's failed within 2 days and the super duper Traxxarse lighting system burnt out. All this even before I drove it outside. Traxxarse customer service is disgusting towards UK people as they do not care to help one tiny bit, they should not be allowed to sell products over here full stop. Take your overpriced plastic and failed electronics back to the states please.
I have wasted alot of money and now own a giant plastic paper weight. STAY CLEAR OF TRAXXARSE PRODUCTS.

Absolute garbage company with non-existent customer support. I spent $1,000 on an RC car as a gift for my father. It was completely defective and did not work straight out of the box. I spent six months trying to contact customer service, the place of purchase, and anyone who could help, and Traxxas completely ignored every single attempt. A $1,000 machine has done nothing but sit dead in a corner for a year and a half. Terrible, bought a Sledge and it came in 1/6/2026 and played with it on the 7th and after the second day a piece of the spur teeth came out and pinion gear came out also..no bashing, just straight up in the pavement playing and thats the result, a broken spur.

Customer support hung up on me. Anyone to purchase from this company should beware. Also support hours claim open 7 days and that is not accurate. Not a good company and certainly won't get any business or praise from me. Very unhappy. On a good note I have a proboat and haven't had to reach out to them. Guess it's going on the shelf or burn pit.

You all to me help when I need it belive me I've called always good to me they have walked me threw some stuff i don't have any complaints my trx body was damaged I got it home it was not hobby store fault I called traxxas sent me a brand new body and told me to keep the damaged one yah so come on man !!! Thank you traxxas

Never ever will buy a RC car from TRAXXAS ever again. Their customer service is trash and no one knows how to help or do their job. I finally received my RC car will be returning it. No longer felt the need to give my money and time to these people. Will be looking somewhere else.

I bought three Traxxas trucks. Two as gifts, and one for myself. I used mine for a few months back in 2018, and it was put away in working order. Just recently, I got it back out and dusted it off To run again, and the receiver would not pair with the transmitter. I made the mistake of calling "tech support", (AKA Customer Abuse hotline) and began talking to a twit named "EJ" Who basically started talking slowly to me like I was a child In a condescending manner. I'm probably old enough to be this guy's dad.
If that wasn't bad enough, I called back to try and reach someone else who might be a little friendlier, and that's when I ran into "Kent", Who was almost hostile in his interaction with me. It was absolutely mind boggling the complete lack of interest in helping me or having any patience, or just having a basic respect for the customer. This clown "Kent", actually hung up on me after I responded to his hostility by saying "easy cowboy". Sheerly mind boggling.
I'm not sure I have ever, in my 55 years of life, experienced a more hostile and disrespectful level of customer service. It was absolutely beyond the pale, and I will never spend another penny with this company again. Now that I have read these reviews, I can absolutely see why they are at a one 1.7 star. Whoever is running this company should be ashamed, if they had any sense of shame.
Edit: I ended up sending my electronics to them so they could test them out. The technician put a note in the email that he "did a factory reset" on my remote.
I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure I could have been walked through that on the phone, had there been anyone with a shred of decency, resourcefulness and patience, willing to actually help.

Brand new mini xrt $369 plus tax overheating before one battery even half used. Traxxas knows and says to buy more stuff to fix brandnew $400 rc car bad outbthe box.

If i could i would put 0 star! Their customer service is complete joke. Please don't waste your money on their products. They are so cheap and can care less about you. I bought 2 rc cars over a $1000 value in 2 weeks and additional parts worth of $600 and one of the rc cars came with broken shock and these f are so cheap that they sent me a shaft instead of the entire shock. Which you can not fix because is broken inside. this company is complete joke!

I always dreamt of buying a Traxxas RC car for my son as I thought this is a top-tier quality and high price comes with high satisfaction.
Yet, already week after purchase servo has broken and I was informed that Traxxas doesn't take that into warranty. So well, I did buy a servo with metal gears to avoid problems with that.
Yet, my son couldn't enjoy the car for much longer because pins were jumping from driveshaft (through o-rings) which is an engineering nonsense.
So, after Traxxas explaining me that they see no issue, I bought a metal driveshaft.
And again, the fun didn't last long, because remote has failed!! And, so I checked inside whether there's any obvious issue inside but there was none. Retailer identified an issue with potentiometer and now, because remote was once opened guess what - warranty replacement was rejected!
Traxxas is a company that promises dreams yet only sells dissapointment.

I was going to bother letting people know how poorly run this company is. Seems I’m way behind. Bought my sixth Crapass car yesterday took an hour to crank it was Tdc out of the box. Don’t waste your money on this crud my losi’s are way better and bonus they have customer Service… Did I mention when I factory reset it to get it running it was at least six turns out on the high speed needle. Junk these days they were ok but now not so much.

Great customer service and in general Traxxas is very very good

I recently purchased my traxxas bl2s with high expectations. But quickly realized that it was very very slow with a top speed of only 45 mph.......so I ordered over 400 Benjamin's worth of up grades and after flooring it just every time. And only doing 20 barrel rolls at only 60 mph It was non operable😁😁😁

Jeffery at Traxxas was so helpful. I had a issue that I may have caused and he explained what was going on and quickly offered a solution. I hate wasting my time and he had me off the phone and a solution on the way. Again it was most likely my fault. He went above and beyond to keep us playing.

The customer service was horrible the guy named Chris and sam and c.j all had an attitude. They would not help me and gave me the same thing over and over again I got It less than a month ago and it broke there was nothing good about the website chat so I called and they said that because it was a normal wear and tear item they would not help me. I am never going back for help they should all be fired and never pick the phone up again
