Possible fake 5 stars
I find it very strange that the review stars on trust pilot for the Tyne Tunnel are much higher than everyone else.
Could the Trust pilot 5 star reviews be fake?
There's definitely a massive discrepancy for all to see and I ask Trust pilot to investigate.

It won't let me leave 0 stars,the stress and grief this has caused me has left me with no choice than to pay £177 fine,all because we changed cars but didnt realise we had to register our blue badge with the new car,fined £32,appealed,then received a fine for over £60,then another warning,phoned customer service,who are very helpful but have no power over payment,so paid the fine,then received a letter from Trace debt recovery with a charge of £177,appealed,they asked for evidence which I provided,and yesterday received a warning because I haven't responded the next step will be ccj,this company deserves to go under,but it won't of course,its legalised robbery,pure and simple.
Also my elderly Mam(93)with dementia has received exactly the same for our brother,who we no longer have contact with and are threatening her with bailiffs,so thanks tt2 and trace,over £300 coming your way.

Hi Karen,
We are sorry to hear about your experience. When traveling through the Tyne Tunnels, a valid Blue Badge exemption is required. If the exemption is not in place, then a payment for toll is due. We issue reminder notifications when exemption accounts are due for renewal.
Whilst your appeal is being heard by TT2, the charge amount never escalates. This would only escalate after a response to your original appeal. When cases move to our third-party enforcement companies, an administrative fee is added. Our enforcement companies would never send bailiffs to your door. However, they can send cases back to TT,2 who would process a CCJ.
If you have exhausted the appeals process and wish to raise a further complaint, you would need to undergo the complaints process with the enforcement agency.

My wife and myself both have Blue Badges and both have our own cars but we share an email address. Our badges have different Tyne Tunnel exemption expiring dates, this has caused some confusion which your staff sorted out in a very professional manner.
