UK Oak doors have policies which are unfair to the consumer. I had faulty goods but they did not believe that I did not damage the doors myself.

We're sorry to hear you're unhappy with the outcome of your case. We understand how disappointing it can be when a product doesn't meet expectations, and we always aim to resolve any issues fairly and promptly.
However, as previously explained, your order was signed for as received in good condition, and the doors were delivered in clear protective packaging ( which was removed ) to make any faults easily visible at the point of delivery. We also ask all customers to report any issues within 48 hours, in line with our terms and conditions, which were agreed to at checkout. This allows us to investigate and resolve matters quickly and effectively.
In this instance, the damage was reported outside of the agreed to timeframe in which we are able to act. While we absolutely do not suggest any intentional damage on your part, we simply cannot verify or accept liability for damage reported after such a long period.
We appreciate your feedback and are always reviewing our processes to ensure the best possible experience for our customers.

I have been really impressed…
I needed to replace all my doors due to a house refurbishment. I have been really impressed with the help and communication from UK Oak Doors. Buyer beware!
The door itself is very handsome. An attractive and very heavy solid oak door.
Although the company is called UK oak doors I was told by the sales assistant that they are in fact made abroad. Hmmmmm!!!
I had a four week wait for my door. Then…
It did not arrive within the week promised to me by the sales assistant. It arrived a week late.
The sales assistant also gave me the incorrect measurements for the door frame and it did not fit within the new brickwork that had been made to fit the quoted measurements. Luckily my builder found away to fix this !
The sales assistant did not tell me that I needed a separate order for the weather bar which was needed for the door step.
I was disappointed with the overall service although the door itself is lovely.

Zero customer support / damaged item / poor processes
Ordered a bespoke Oak Door and paid for it 13/2/25. Order advised it would be 10-14 days until delivery. After 14 days, no communication so I emailed to chase - no response. Sent a further email, eventually got a response saying the production order was still awaiting for me to send to them and the order hadn't even gone to production yet. I asked why I had not been chased if they were awaiting this from me - no response, other than you need to sign the order. So did that but said needed delivery now needed within 7 days or wanted a full refund. Promised delivery within 7 days. I chased at day 6 as no comms whatsoever - had no response. When I got home on day 7, door was outside my front verandah so had been delivered while I was out with me not there to check or sign (not allowed apparently if you read their delivery policy). The item was clearly damaged on the corners before I even unpacked it. When I did unpack it, one of the ledgers was not attached at one end, the door was massively bent as a result and the quality was awful - other door I had ordered before was doweled and really neat - this one was pinned all over with no dowels and looked like it had woodworm there we so many pins in it. I sent email advising of damage and not accepting the item. Got email from sales team to send to support team and couldn't help. Did that and advised a ticket raised but then you can't view the ticket!? Rang the sales team and spoke to same team member as placed order with who said they can't help. Asked to speak to manager or director - no director available - manager was available - can he call me back to discuss? No call back. Still no resolution - there is zero customer service - be very careful using this company. I will now have look at legal proceedings.

Disappointing Experience – Overcharged and Ignored
I had a very poor experience with UK Oak Doors. I spoke at length with a salesperson named William, clearly specifying in writing that I wanted three doors along with some accessories. Despite this, an additional door was incorrectly added to my order, and I was charged for it.
I reported the issue within 24 hours of delivery, but it has now been 7 days without any response from their customer service team. William, who initially handled my order, fobbed me off to customer service who have been completely unresponsive.
Very disappointing experience — I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company. I’m now left out of pocket with no clear resolution in sight.
I've had to make Section75 claim now due to the unresponsiveness of the company.

Absolutely fantastic bespoke solid oak doors.
Ordered a mixture of bespoke solid oak Victorian 4 panel (raised panel) doors, 7 of the 13’s top panels left blank for me to glaze and 1 was to be made half size for a cupboard (only 2 panel) the other 5 fully panelled. I asked if I could have 40mm thickness rather than the websites 35mm and also in all the various sizes I needed. Well nothing seemed too much trouble from ordering, the gentleman who was dealing with me was called William and his communication was perfect. The doors were ordered in May and I was informed that they would take around 4-6 months, I then received a mail in October saying they were ready to be delivered. I was away for a month and the delivery was put on hold until my return. The delivery arrived with perfectly packaged doors and I began opening them to check and stacking flat, I couldn’t believe the quality of these doors. They were absolutely perfect and not a thing wrong or out of place, they looked stunning and after two weeks of coating, sanding between coats and buffing they look unbelievable. I have to say spending over seven and a half thousand pounds back in May did leave me wondering back then if I’d done the right thing, nowadays there are more orders leave a bad taste in the mouth now than ever and it’s often difficult to get anything that’s not damaged or how you’d expect but that hasn’t been the case. I couldn’t find solid oak doors anywhere in the UK until I discovered UK Oak Doors, I am so pleased with the flawless impeccable service from start to finish. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble and every question was answered, William was absolutely brilliant and 100% professional. What a fantastic company.

The company was good with good products, but the delivery let them down.
I had 4 damaged doors on first delivery. And 1 damaged on replacement delivery. I am still waiting for this final door to be delivered. I have contacted the company several times but had no response as to when it will be delivered
