All was good except
All was good, but there was a slight bend in the sheet metal panel on which the electrical outputs are mounted. This appears to be because of poor design of the battery receptacle: basically you need to remove the whole panel to get the battery in or out, or bend the panel slightly. Tacky

Battery Charger Repair
I have a battery charger that developed a fault. Unfortunately, I couldn't trace where I bought it but thought it might have been from Union Mart. Whilst I was searching I stumbled upon an article that implied that my charger [model] was the subject of a manufacturer recall because of design safety issues. I queried this with Union Mart and after some time I received an email from them listing all the recall requirements and included a free returns label. I pointed out that there was also a fault and would they please quote for any repairs not subject to the recall. I sent it off to them but heard no more about it for several weeks. It was Christmas time and the postal strike was affecting everything. Imagine my surprise when the post man turned up with it, all repaired, (or possibly a new one, as it looked brand new) and without an invoice.
I'm still not entirely sure I bought it from them in the first place.
I would highly recommend Union Mart to anyone. And will defintely employ their services again.

Don't be Fooled by the names
Don't be Fooled by the names, it's Chinese, Not American or German as names suggest. Ordered generator October last through eBay, received a power washer I didn't want. I had to prove with their invoice that they were wrong. Bought a small power washer around same time and received wrong hose, Twice.Two years ago I ordered a power washer and they said it got lost and refunded me. I'd suggest giving them a Miss!

We are extremely sorry for how you were treated and for the service you received it is not the standard we want our team to deliver, we have made alot of changes since to the procedures and policies in place to help make them more customer friendly and most importantly retraining has been given to give the customer better experience and to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Do not buy from this company
Do not buy from this company. I bought new Wilks RX 550I FEB 2020. Detergent connection detached due to poor machining in 08/2020 and following several unpleasant telephone call they agreed to have the unit returned to Union Mart. New outlet with brass connector fitted. Nov 2022 leak at previously changed pipe and inspection revealed new "o" ring is now required along with spring to operate water flow restrictor. removal of outflow revealed cross threading of new pipe fitted in 08/2020. Union Mart do not stock spare parts required and require the unit to be returned to their workshop for assessment and if they cannot repair will scrap or return unit not repaired. They suggest I go elsewhere and attempt to find similar parts from other suppliers. I will repeat my post from 2020. "IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN SOUTHHAMPTO DO NOT BUY FROM UNION MART. Washers of this caliper normally last 8-10 years but this Wilks could be scraped in less than 3.

High Pressure Hose Replacement.
About 6 mth ago I bought a pressure washer off Unionmart on ebay, the other day the casing on the high pressure hose had split, contacted John at Union mart who promptly supplied another by next day delivery, you cannot get better than that.
Excellent communication & customer service.

I purchased a welder from Union Mart through Amazon on the 22nd of April 2021. The receipt sent to me mentioned getting a £10.00 refund if I left a 5 star review on Amazon & Google and email reviews when done and a refund would be processed. I have emailed the above address twice and had no response, so take it that this is a scam to get a 5 star review.

This company has an excellent customer care team. A problem I had with an item was dealt with swiftly and a replacement dispatched very quickly. There was no quibbling, just real concern by their team that I was not happy. There are not many company's around who still practice what Union Mart do. Thanks I'll be back!

Replacement jet wash hand gun
I purchased a Jet wash from Union Mart last year and was really pleased with it. However, I noticed the gun was leaking when I started to use it this year. Contacted Union Mart and within 3 days I had a replacement gun. Superb customer service from start to finish, thank you so much!

Recall of battery charger
I had to return my 1 year old battery charger under a safety recall and the whole process was handled very well.
The initial collection was by courier and the return also. There was an estimate of 7-30 days for turnaround no doubt due to the pandemic. It was actually done in just over a week so at the lower end of the estimate which was good. On return there was clear communication of the work done and it came back safely in the original packaging.
I did have one issue which was an odd screw which was inserted in the side. Not a big thing but I asked for a replacement which was sent next day.
All sorted under warranty.
The overall service & experience was really good and although I haven’t had an opportunity to try out the newly returned charger I have no doubt it will give many years of service now entirely safely.
It’s nice to know there are still some companies offering good service in this day & age.
