I had dual dash cam hardwired into my car. The camera constantly needs to be reset. It never connects. I figured this out 18 days later. Had I been in an accident I would have no record of it. I spent a lot of money getting it wired into my car and it is junk.

Do not buy from VAVA. I placed an order 2 weeks ago for a $2,800 projector. My account was charged and order accepted. The reps are nice but crm is horrible. Save your time and buy from a reputable brand.

After waiting for multiple weeks they finally shipped the projector which has been absolutely fantastic. This is a great deal and a great device but the runaround and lack of information on the order itself was not appreciated.

No tracking available after putting an order. No visibility on when the order will be fulfilled or even if the product is actually in stock. Very poor communication from support only being able to explain that this is normal to not have any tracking as it may take up to 9 days to fulfill the order. Very bad e-commerce logistics and service.

Purchased a VAVA Home Cam system with 2 wireless cameras back in January 2019, received in Dec 2019 and finally had a chance to install in my Florida condo in Mar 2020. System advertised a 1 yr battery life on the wireless cameras which after 60 days have now died. Given I live in Toronto and with current COVID-19 travel restrictions between Canada and the US, I am unable to get back down to my unit to change my cameras from wireless installation to now having to plug into an electrical outlet to keep a constant charge. I have reached out to the VAVA customer team numerous times expressing my disappointment in their lack of delivering what their product offering stated clearing on Indiegogo that this wireless cameras have a 1 yr battery life. They have now informed me they will NOT honour a replacement for this underperforming cameras as they do not have replacement parts and can only offer me a $129US partial refund (I invested $334US). Just not acceptable as I would NOT recommend this product to anyone looking for a wireless camera system and remotely away from where the system is to have the system run effectively. Now looking @ a replacement system that delivers on a wireless solution to meet my needs.

Don`t buy the company`s Baby monitor and it very bad

I really wanted to love this monitor, and for the price, I should have! We had a summer infant monitor for over two years that was half the price, and honestly it worked better right out of the box then this monitor. The first monitor we got had a “poor connection” message (alert) on the screen no matter how far from the camera we were. So, I had to exchange it immediately after receiving it. Got the exchange and it seemed to work perfectly, from any where in the house we had a perfect signal. I was relieved! Then, nighttime came, and the picture quality was horrendous, almost completely black, couldn’t make out anything in our daughters room! Frustrating to say the least! So, within one week We’ve had two of these units and neither one works correctly! Returning, and going with another monitor. Do not waste your time or money on this junk!!

UPDATE*** A representative from this company has contacted me 3 times by email to bribe me with $ and gift cards to delete my review. I will not delete it, people need to know the good and the bad about a product, and my experience with this monitor was terrible, my review stands!

Pledged for 6 VAVA Home Cams as part of their Kickstarter campaign. I was lucky enough to have these cams delivered eventually (many backers still have not received their cams), but they work nothing like advertised. Battery life is horrible (~2 weeks, not nearly the advertised 1 year), the cams keep losing the connection to the base station (so often they don't work at all), and when they do work, the cams have a couple of seconds startup delay in recording, due to which you're lucky if it catches the back of someone sneaking by. In addition, many of the promised features of the app are still absent... as is VAVA support. Refund requests are refused, and almost all questions asking for solutions about the above described problems are ignored.

Received my Vava short distance 4K Laser Projector, and it works really great with low noise and great picture quality.

I like to watch great movies in the evening now even more.
No Issues here since multiple months of usage.

No matter how good the products of a company may be, if they have bad support it's a bright red flag and wise to stay clear, which sadly seems to be the case with VAVA. My company contacted VAVA for a sales related issue and subsequently reached out via Twitter messaging, getting no response in both cases. Their products do seem good, making this all the more frustrating, but the lack of a support means we have to stay clear. Things may change in time but also they may not, so creating your own support ticket and seeing what happens might be wise before investing in them.

Back the home cam on Kickstarter. So far the review in the comment section and a mess. The camera has a big lag time and the battery doesn't work for a year as the claim in the campaign. Not that I would know since they still haven't sent mine. They decided they aren't shipping anymore until they can figure out how to extend the battery life (but not any of the other issues).
I don't have high hopes.

Through Amazon I have bought a VaVa Dashboard Cam VA-VD005, the hardware is definitely interesting in specifications and design. But the accompanying APP software from VaVa is completely useless and is rated just over 2 in the Google Play Appstore. Worse is the support from VaVa, totally amateurs who understand nothing (or don't want to understand). mega long emails without reaction or results, i have given up and have to scrap the product. Keep you away from VaVa, it's a waste of money and time.
