SAV déplorable

J'ai acheté un NAS WD le 14/07/23. Celui-ci n'a jamais fonctionné du a un problème d'alimentation. J'ai contacté le SAV et à ce jour je n'ai toujours pas reçu d'alimentation en retour. SAV déplorable.

Besoin d'assistance sur un disque dur externe. Plus de 10 appels au SAV. Après plusieurs étapes téléphoniques et à chaque fois temps d'attente interminables. Communication raccrochée. Inadmissible pour une marque qui se veut fiable. Notation 1 étoile, 0 étoile n'étant pas proposé.

I wonder why WD got such a low rating on TrustPilot.

WD is actually reasonably priced for HDD. I bought one 8 TB rig and it has lasted me for 8 years. Still in good condition but gets heated quite easily.

Livraison gratuite en 3 jours. Livraison par UPS sans surcoût. Colis soigneusement emballé et protégé.
Attention lors de la première installation après transfert de jeux, il faut éteindre le système complet par l'onglet paramètre. (Sinon une erreur sera affichée transfert trop lent pour lancer le jeux.) Puis redémarrer la console. Une carte de bonne qualité et moins onéreuse que sa concurrente directe. Je recommande. Merci WD.

Très déçu de western digital …

Très déçu de western digital …
Achat d’un DD NAS en reconditionné fin Juin… lorsque je branche celui, il ne fonctionne pas. J’ouvre un incident (230706-004378) .. un technicien m’indique quelques manipulations à faire sans succès.. au bout de quelques jours sans nouvelles du technicien alors qu’il devait me rappeler, je demande un remplacement du disque dur (RMA : 0060279788). On m’envoi une étiquette pour renvoyer mon produit … cette étiquette est pour un centre western digital en Pologne qui n’existe plus… j’ai donc perdu une bonne dizaine de jours pour que mon produite arrive au centre et soit automatiquement renvoyé à la maison.
J’obtiens une nouvelle étiquette. Le produit doit être renvoyé sous 7 jours. Cela fait 15 jours et toujours de notification comme quoi un nouveau disque m’a été renvoyé …
Au final, ça fait plus 1 mois de demi que j’ai commandé un disque dur sans pouvoir m’en servir ! Le service client est une honte !!!!

Poor service

Ordered an internal 2TB NVMe and managed to get what I though was a great deal to go with a new PC build. After a few days the product never turned up so I checked my order confirmation email. I found a link to the tracking which opened up in the UPS website. The tracking number didn't even work on the UPS website so I contacted the WD live chat feed. They then proceeded to tell me that its not likely to turn up, so I requested a refund since I needed the product ASAP. Since then I have received zero emails so I have no track record of what's going on. 3 times I have now had to contact support and tell the whole story. No refund or cancellation email because they need to wait for UPS. Its clearly gone missing as its not even showing on UPS's system. So What is that my fault? And why is there no trace / track of my issues via email? The other thing is if I had never contacted support I actually believe nothing would have happened or been raised as the first support agent told me UPS failed to deliver when it never even went out. To say these are a big tech company the support is so out dated. The fact that no email confirmed is sent is terrible.

Faulty and bad communication

Unfortunately their website payment system is either really faulty or outright fraudulent. I ordered an MP3 player, filled in all my details and was sent to a Paypal page with several payment option. I used iDeal, everything went fine until the payment was completed, but I was not sent back to the Western Digital website, but rather just got a small message saying that I will be contacted by the merchant. I didn't receive a confirmation even after 15 minutes so I chatted the support. They said there was no order at all?!?! Imagine my amazement, so I asked if they could check the payment, which they could not, and told me to check with Paypal. I made an account on Paypal (as this is required just to contact them) and they told me they couldn't see the payment either and to contact my bank. My bank said the payment was successful, so I should contact the merchant to fix the issue.

Long story short, money is in limbo, nobody knows, nobody sees, but its gone from my account.

I will update this review if I ever hear anything about this.

UPDATE: they did refund my money, still quite disappointing, I would not recommend buying anything through their store.

This sight is a fraud! They keep your money and never ship your order!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I've been waiting 9 months for a jacket I ordered from them. They will tell you they sold the company and they are behind on filling orders. That's a scam so they can keep your money. CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD YOU USED TO PLACE THE ORDER. THEY WILL PERIODICALLY CHARGE YOUR CARD!!!

Commandé un disque dur, défaillant après 2 utilisations donc renvoyés mais ils font tout le temps galère ne veulent pas me rembourser donc me renvoi un autre disque dur défaillant… et cela en boucle. Rarement vu des escrocs et incapable de la sorte.

Pire entreprise

A fuir! Cela fait 1 an et demi que j'ai commandé un disque dur externe, qui est arrivé fonctionnel mais est devenu défaillant au bout d'une ou deux utilisations seulement. Le disque n'était plus reconnu par n'importe quel ordinateur. Je le renvoie (aucun remboursement ou avoir possible). On m'envoie un remplacement mais qui a prit des mois à me parvenir! Soit disant ils ne trouvaient pas l'adresse alors qu'elle est très simple. Apres 3 envois de leur part qui n'ont pas abouti (vive l'écologie) Il m'a fallu donner l'adresse d'un proche pour que je sois livrée ! UPS qui n'est pas au point également, une galère !
Ce nouveau disque dur fonctionne... Puis n'est de nouveau plus reconnu ! Donc je perds mes fichiers une nouvelle fois et le disque est bon pour un deuxième retour!
Je le signale à WD qui me proposent cette fois ci une autre gamme de disque dur, malgré que j'insiste pour avoir un SSD qui ne se détériorererait pas dans le transport. J'accepte (pas le choix) je renvoie mon disque dur dans un point UPS et je suis l'avancé du suivi. UPS indique que le colis a bien été livré depuis 1 semaine mais WD ne l'a soit disant pas reçu et me demande des preuves que je l'ai bien envoyé. Ils ne veulent pas me renvoyer un remplacement. Voilà où on en est
Vraiment ma pire expérience en achat en ligne, entreprise médiocre avec des produits non fonctionnels, une communication déplorable et un service exécrable. Passez votre chemin si vous ne voulez pas perdre votre argent

SUCH A HORRIBLE SUPPORT

NON-EXISTENT SUPPORT FROM WHICH I COULD NEITHER TROUBLESHOOT THE PORTABLE HARD DISK, NOR FIND A SERVICE CENTER. THEY ASK A MILLION QUESTIONS ON PHONE FOR A PUNY ITEM LIKE A HARD DISK AS IF IT IS A NATIONAL MATTER OF GREAT IMPORTANCE.

I placed an order in Early December. I never received the product, they emailed saying that they had a backlog from the holidays, but 6 months later still no product. This company is a scam and are taking customers money. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!!

Worst customer Service experience ever

Worst customer Service experience ever. Every single person in that call center knows nothing about their systems, can’t give you any reliable data on the product. And it’s worst if you have a warranty claim with them. What was supposed to be a 7 day shipment of the new drive has been held for over a month and all they say is two days you’ll have a tracking number or an update and weeks later and nothing!! Supervisors are just as useless as the reps. They don’t respond to your emails!!

Useless customer service

I've been trying to get a replacement for my $400 Sandisk Extreme Pro drive that failed after only 5 months of use. It's been weeks and they've been useless. I keep telling the agents on chat how urgent it it is for my business and instead of sending me a replacement they keep pushing canned answers like "don't worry we will take care of you" and other BS. I am NEVER buying another Western Digital product, Sandisk or any other brand of theirs. They claim to cater to professionals but they're barely setup to handle amateurs.

Early failure and Horrible Support

My WD backup drive failed after about 5 months. They were fairly quick about deciding it was under warranty, and asked me to send the drive and power supply to them. Several weeks later, I received my new drive without a power supply. Their initial response was "we didn't ask you to send us the power supply" (which they did). Then they sent me a power supply that wasn't plug compatible with the drive. Then(!) they said there were no power supplies available for my drive, and again upbraided me for sending them the original power supply. Toward the end of March I finally got an email saying they'd found one, but it would take 3-4 days to ship it. A month later, I still don't have it. I called, and they said "we'll escallate this, but our system is down , so we can't really get a handle on the situation." I'm still waiting. These people are horrible. I might as well have bought a new backup drive (preferably a Seagate).

had sent a defective drive a month ago and still lame excuses that they have service outage.
I read in the outage page that they resolved outages in few days then whats the reason for delaying my shipment.They always respond with a bot named "phil" and say that they are having service outage.

defective product, and still no refund

Western Digital shipped a broken product. I contacted them and was informed I could return it for a refund, and that they would provide a UPS label for the return.

I requested a paper shipment label, as I do not have a printer at the moment and there's no UPS store in my town. But WD sent an electronic code — I had to drive the next town over to get to a UPS outlet.

I was informed by WD the refund would take 7-10 business days to process. That was a month ago, in which time I received neither the refund nor any further communication from WD.

When I recontacted their Customer Support today, I was sent an email stating, "We are unable to process any request at this time."

Not a trustworthy outfit.

Ingen adgang til My Home Cloud siden 02-04-2023

Det eneste formål med en cloud, er at man har adgang til sine data, uanset hvor man befinder sig. Dette har jeg så ikke haft i en uges tid.
Beskeden er, at der er en "service interruption", og at man kan få adgang via LAN. Den mulighed har jeg imidlertid ikke. Jeg vil have mine data, og når det forhåbentlig lykkes, så skifter jeg til en anden udbyder.
