West Motors 

I purchased a car from West Motors and was sold a 3-year warranty under the impression there would be no excess, and that I was getting 2 years of cover with 1 year free, plus 2 years of MOT. None of these promises were honoured.

When I later received the paperwork, it showed a 10% excess per claim—which was never mentioned during the sale. The agent who sold me the warranty has since left, and getting any help or response from the dealership has been incredibly difficult. They rarely answer calls or emails, and no one seems to take responsibility.

I’ve had to escalate the matter to Trading Standards and seek legal advice. I’ve already paid £600 towards a mis-sold warranty and have been left with no proper support or accountability. This has caused me so much unnecessary stress and financial worry.

Avoid this dealership unless you want to deal with broken promises, silence, and a total lack of after-sales support.They rarely answer calls or emails, and no one seems to take responsibility.

Edit: it's now august and they replied to this review but never got back to my emails. How can I get it sorted if your team does not even bother to respond?

Great car, great price and a great service all round from Jazz and the team!

I purchased a car from West Motors in April 2025 and was mis-sold multiple optional products (Warranty First, ShineProtect, and GardX) without clear pricing or choice. These were bundled into my finance without proper explanation.
When I tried to cancel under my legal 14-day cooling-off rights, I was told I’d have to cancel and reapply for the entire loan – completely obstructing my consumer rights.
GardX was apparently applied before I agreed to it, and they never notified the DVLA of my purchase as promised.
I’ve filed complaints with the Financial Ombudsman and reported them to the FCA (Firm Ref. No. 772556).
Avoid this dealer — zero transparency, poor support, and no respect for your rights.

Jaz met us at West Motors and was delightful. He listened well and never pressed us with sales talk. We were then handed over to Muanis- yet another ‘gentle’ salesperson with lots of knowledge who didn’t make us feel stupid or try to con us. Muanis, like Jaz and everyone else, showed nothing but smiles, active listening and a genuine desire to help us both buy and sell at the same time. We only came to look! I hate being sold to and West Motors did it just right. At last, an honourable company who created a great deal for us! We would go back again and tell others to give them a try. Thank you Muanis and Jaz!

Jazz was extremelely helpful. The professional was quick easy and seemless and would recommend them again to anyone.

Nothing was too much trouble for this company from the minute we arrived without an appointment to when we collected the car a few days later.

Muanis kept us informed of the progress with the car servicing and odd minor work needed before we could take it away. He even helped with the online tax.

And his colleague brought some water for our dogs!

Sahand was absolutely brilliant! Very polite, professional and friendly. Everything was smooth and easy and he checked in with us before viewings which was a lovely personal touch of customer service. Very happy and would definitely consider buying again.

Buying the car was the only smooth part of the experience. Once the sale was done, the showroom completely stopped caring. I’ve been trying to get in touch with the after-sales team for weeks regarding a serious issue, and no one responds to calls or messages. They make promises but never follow through. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating. If you value proper support and service after your purchase, stay away from this showroom.
Last 16th I brought Range rover Sports PK16JXS and from day one engine light's on and several issues and went to Uxbridge sales office/Garage then they were trying to cheat me. It wax NOx sensor issues. And then they were reset and ask to drive and said no issues. after that I had decided to return the vehicle less than a week and went to the show room and ask for replacement.
Then i found another Range rover Velar VE68UYU, then I seen engine check light on after test drive. There was another sensor issues. attached pictures as reference. those picture hardly I took from Garage in-charge person.
Both vehicles still in their web site.
From more than a two weeks am try to contact for refund my money.it very hard to contact them and ignore every single calls.
I do not recommend this dealer for anyone.

Let me make this crystal clear: your dealership is an absolute joke. I bought a car from you on April 15th, and was told the charger would arrive in 3 days. That was obviously a lie. Since then, I’ve had to babysit your useless team with weekly calls, and every time I get the same pathetic excuses – “it’s ordered,” “it’s lost,” “we’ll call you back,” blah blah blah. None of you seem to have the decency or competence to follow up on a simple task.

You even had the nerve to send me an email pretending it was ordered again – what, do you think your customers are stupid? Either you’re completely disorganized or you're just lying through your teeth. Honestly, it feels like both.

Your customer service is a complete disaster. Not a single ounce of empathy, responsibility, or professionalism. You’ve wasted my time, tested my patience, and caused me serious mental strain over something that should’ve taken less than a week.

I’m done playing nice. I’m reporting this circus of a dealership to the proper regulators. You don’t deserve to be in business if this is how you treat paying customers. Pathetic.

From start to finish, my experience at this dealership was exceptional. The team was incredibly helpful and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I only wish I'd read reviews here before I bought my car.

I also wish I'd asked my local mechanic to inspect the car first too. After four months I've had to replace two tyres and disk breaks. Both things that should have been listed as advisable on the sham MOT they carried out.

I gather dodgy car showrooms often 'buy' a clean bill of health on MOTs to avoid the cost of sorting cars out pre sale.

Never had so many issues with a second hand car. Very frustrating as by far the newest car I've owned.

I'd recommend people run a mile from West Motors. I complained to them via email several times and they completely ignored me. Zero customer service and shady as hell.

Not a trustworthy dealership. Do not go to this dealer, they lied about the extended warranty. When I was purchasing the car the Salesmen Salim and Roshan told me the extended warranty cover all the cost if there is any fault. However, not only this was inaccurate but there was a 10% customer contribution to that cost. And there is claim limit per claim of £1000, which as you know these German cars is nothing if things goes wrong with the car.
Since, the extended warranty they sold me was in cooling off period, I called them and asked to cancel it, at first they were pooling me around, and told me that someone will call me back. However, nothing happened, then I sent a strong worded email to cancel the extended warranty. They cancelled the warranty but I am still waiting for the refund. Seems like these guys are doggy. Don’t believe their words in store. I was actually getting a cheaper extended warranty from AA without any claim limit per claim, but I decided to go with them initially based on what they were telling me that we will fully manage your claim etc. However, as soon as I received the extended warranty document it was something else. And I checked the reviews and they are doing similar things to other people.

Sold a faulty car, had to go back a dozen of times to fix it and the issue still persisted, returned the car under warranty and they are holding the money that they promised to refund. Horrible customer service, no response by phone or email. have to come in person to get anything done but even then only lies and false promises. Horrible, don’t even get involved with them
