As the Wickes TV add depicts, we certainly were suffering from extreme ‘house-barrassment’ with regards to our kitchen. Installed over 30 years ago and looking extremely tired to put it mildly. Having steeled ourselves to get it sorted out, enter Marchela Chamberlain at the Crawley Wickes store. She’s an absolute gem, highly knowledgeable and lovely to deal with. Marchela carried out a home visit initially, and on our next meeting at the store showed us the computer generated end product. There was no comparison with the abomination we were scrapping to the proposed end product. After installation, we were delighted to see that the kitchen matched the original projected product almost exactly. The team carrying out the installation were great too. Highly professional, polite and informative. We had very few issues during the installation process and the disruption in the house was minimal.
We can certainly recommend anyone considering a new kitchen to go to the Crawley Wickes store and ask to speak to Marchela. You will receive excellent service and professional advice, not to mention a first class end product.

Right from the start, John Gillam at the Crawley store, went out of his way to meet our needs. Throughout the design and with all of our changes and questions he was incredibly patient and accommodating making valid suggestions as to what would work best. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products. The installer appointed by John was first class. All in all we were are very happy with our new kitchen.

I made multiple online orders in one day and all were fulfilled promptly and accurately.
I’ve never had cause to complain and I’ll keep using them.
I want to shout out to Kelly who was very understanding and helpful and served with a big smile, made my day.

The signage to enter to wickes crawley is awful. It’s our local shop and we have trade account with them, so we use them regularly. After the roundabout to enter the car park you need to take right and exit at the end . It happened so many times that people exit at the entrance. There is no signage to show people the way out. There needs to be a clear sign where to exit the car park before accidents happen . Spoke to staff on few occasions and they couldn’t care less

I’ve just had a kitchen fitted and I’m delighted with the results. John Gillam, from the Crawley branch of Wickes, got the perfect balance of listening to the key details that I wanted, whilst also making suggestions which I hadn’t considered. His suggestions, such as curved units and placing some of the quartz worktop on the window sill, are now my favourite parts of the kitchen! He was incredibly knowledgeable, honest and managed expectations well - there was nothing that came as a surprise down the line, and this was important to me. And he answered my (many) questions with patience. Although my kitchen is small, he reconfigured the appliances to maximize space and it feels much bigger. The final design is everything I wanted and more, and it’s hard to believe it is the same space it was a few weeks ago. I would highly recommend John for his creativity, professionalism and stunning designs.

In a brief rundown we went with Wickes to have a kitchen designed and installed by one of the approved fitters. our designer was brilliant and we loved our design but when it came to the fitter that's when it went wrong. from the start the fitter slow only working 1.5 hours on day one and regularly finishing early throughout the whole job. we also had to ask him to correct several different parts of the kitchen that had not been done correctly including installing worktops badly and putting the sink in the wrong place. he also argued loudly with his assistant so loud my neighbours heard it plus he never gave us a proper work plan for the job. his tiler also didn't turn up as he was offered a better job this added another week to the job as well as meaning we had to take more time off work. The fitter also broke a tile in our bathroom and at the time of writing this I've been chasing for 8.5 weeks to get this fixed and he still hasn't sorted it he also got very aggressive when we asked about the issues threatening to leave the job unfinished. We have raised a formal Complaint with Wickes and have not been treated well they have just told us to keep chasing the fitter and have given us a very poor good will offer. i am very disappointed with how we have been treated by a large professional company and would not recommend using Wickes for your kitchen. The only reason i haven't given a one star review is our designer has been good.

Richard was great from start to finish. We met Richard a year ago when we popped to Crawley Wickes to choose a worktop for our kitchen (being done by the Burgess Hill team), he was so helpful that we wanted him to do our two bathrooms. He helped with designing as we had no idea what we wanted. He communicated and checked in throughout our bathrooms being fitted. He fixed any small issues we had. I would highly recommend Richard.

Marcin was very efficient with his work considering he is a one man band. He was very considerate to me and my mum and he became part of the family.

We are both very happy with our bathrooms and have recommended Wickes to everyone we know.

The Wickes centre were very helpful too, especially Victoria who checked in throughout our projects. We truely felt looked after.

Not very happy with maria i went there for a bathroom design in crawley, she 1st asked me my budget i said a low one just so they dont start selling me things ii didn’t need, immediately she said our bathrooms are 10k and its not worth designing because its wasting her time. She didn’t even take measurements of my bathroom to see what size it was then trying to imply i couldn’t afford it which if i wanted to i could have, in away she done me a favour i went to b and q and they designed me a really nice bathroom which i am going a head with, good sales person would of designed me the bathroom then done there best to sell it to me

10 out of 10 service from start to finish, Richard from the Crawley branch helped us design our perfect bathroom, by 1st coming to ours and measuring up and then completing the design in store. When it came to the installation, we had John and Tom Caiger who were brilliant, very skilled professionals who went above and beyond for the week and a half they were here. There were a few issues along the way, none of which was anything Wickes could help (incorrect / damaged items sent by 3rd party suppliers), but Kenny from customer services was on hand to rectify straight away.
The bathroom is now fully installed, we honestly couldn't be happier and would recommend Wickes to anyone and everyone. Great service all round.

I wanted to take a moment to leave some truly outstanding feedback for Jon, who works in the warehouse at your Crawley store.

Today I visited the store feeling extremely stressed and very limited on time, and honestly Jon completely turned my whole experience around. From the moment he offered to help, nothing was too much trouble for him. He went absolutely above and beyond with his customer service and support.

I needed advice regarding products for putting up cat spikes and Jon took the time to properly explain everything to me — from the best products to use, to the best way to install them. He was knowledgeable, patient, approachable and genuinely cared about helping me find the right solution rather than just rushing me through.

What stood out most was how friendly and willing to help he was. In today’s world, it is rare to come across customer service like that anymore. He made me feel listened to, valued and supported during what had been quite a stressful day for me.

Jon is an absolute credit to your Crawley store and to Wickes as a company. Employees like him are the reason customers return and recommend stores to others. Please make sure this feedback reaches both Jon and his management team because he truly deserves recognition for the exceptional service he provided today.

From start to finish, my experience with Wickes Bathrooms was nothing short of outstanding. I would confidently give them a full 5 stars.

The design process with Richard Sheriden was the perfect blend of professional guidance and personal choice. He really listened to what I wanted, offering thoughtful suggestions without ever being pushy. He helped me make the most of the space, introducing ideas I hadn’t even considered while still keeping everything within my budget. The 3D plans were especially helpful in visualising the final result, and any tweaks I requested were handled quickly and without fuss.

When it came to installation Maciej Sozanski’s team was just as impressive. Everything was well organised and clearly communicated, so I always knew what to expect and when. The installation team were punctual, respectful, and extremely tidy — they treated my home with care and made sure disruption was kept to a minimum.

The workmanship itself was excellent. Every detail, from tiling to fittings, was completed to a very high standard. You can really tell they take pride in their work. Any small questions or adjustments along the way were dealt with promptly and professionally, which gave me great peace of mind.

The end result exceeded my expectations. My new bathroom looks fantastic and feels like a completely transformed space — stylish, practical, and finished to perfection.

Overall, Wickes Bathrooms delivered a seamless experience from design to installation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality bathroom renovation.

We recently purchased our kitchen and had the pleasure of working with John Gillam in the Crawley branch. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience. He came out to measure our kitchen and really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and within our budget. Richard, the designer from Crawley store so helpful and professional from beginning to end. Everything flows much better and has made the small kitchen feel larger. Any hiccups were soon sorted, a product exchanged or refunded hassle free. Always responded promptly.
Our installer Deno did a sterling job, talked us through step by step so we knew what was happening day by day. He dealt with the electrician Adam who put in new cables for the integrated appliances, ceiling spotlights and under cupboard strip lights. The plumber, sealed off the old cooker gas supply and re routed pipe work moved the mains water supply cut off to a more accessible place. All in all we are extremely pleased with our new kitchen.
Wickes were very good with e mails re deliveries and a phone call on the day from the driver re time of arrival.

Aftercare post kitchen installation is shocking! Kitchen installed in October & problems I didn’t expect from Wickes quality.
Sink discoloured. Tap doesn’t stop dripping. Cupboards dropped. Dishwasher door sounds awful every time I open / close it. Cupboards mark easily & can’t get marks off the matt finish (no handles so they are meant to be touched).
Wickes response - terrible! Been weeks & no one has visited to inspect. No help given. Still waiting for Wickes to do something. Very help to sell a kitchen not so happy to fix issues.
