Richard was the perfect salesman. Ours was only a small purchase to match an existing kitchen, but that didn’t affect his professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble. We never felt rushed or unimportant, He greeted us with a welcome smile even when he saw us coming in for yet another tweak to the order!

We bought a new kitchen, had it designed and installed by Wickes. The design appointment was great, but after we paid the money, the experience went downhill. The installer took weeks to finish the last bits off and wasn't great at communication. Customer services were no help at all with this. The tiler employed was a bit scary to be honest, fitted awful trims which we had to ask to be changed and pay extra for ourselves. And to top it off, we have had the kitchen for one year and already the edging tape is chipping. When we reported this to customer service, they were dismissive, implying it was our fault and there was nothing they could do. We are just a family of 4 who use our kitchen to make meals 2-3 times a day - we are not doing anything inappropriate and would expect a new kitchen to look good for years! The trim really must be poor quality for this to happen. We were encouraged to have the kitchen installed by Wickes so that everything was under warranty. I am now scared to use the kitchen as I don't want to make it worse. It's all been really disappointing when having a new kitchen should really be a happy experience.

To say I’m happy with it would be a massive understatement. I’m absolutely delighted with the finished bathroom. It has exceeded all my hopes and expectations. I think it looks amazing!
The credit for this lies firmly with Terry and his guys. They made the process relatively stress-free and from day one I had total confidence in their skill and professionalism. Terry, in particular, is a super nice guy and easy to deal with and incredibly helpful. Of course there were a few hiccups along the way, but he handled them all calmly and cooly. It was a pleasure to have him and the others in my home. So, they have my sincerest thanks.
Equally, I’d like to thank you for your part. You also made it easy for me to translate what was in my head to a finished bathroom. You made some excellent suggestions, ( eg moving the sink ), which all helped improve my original concept. I’m also grateful for the quick responses to my emails and solutions to any open questions/issues I had. It’s always a pleasure dealing with somebody who actually knows what he’s talking about.
To be sure, if I’m ever in the market for another kitchen or bathroom, I’ll be heading straight back to you!

Maria was brilliant and so patient with me. I trusted her advice and she really knows her stuff. She showed me items for my new bathroom, never rushed my decision and I didn’t feel any pressure to buy. She made time for me and gave me options and advice which I really appreciated. Can’t wait to get the bathroom installed

We went to Wickes in Crawley and had the pleasure of being served by Maria Moore. What a lovely lady. She made us feel completely at home. She was very friendly but also very knowledgeable on all the products on offer. There was no hard sell and nothing was too much trouble for her. Maria is a real asset to the store and we look forward to continuing to deal with her as we progress our kitchen purchase.

We had an excellent experience with our Kitchen re-fit from Wickes at Crawley. Our design consultant Marchela Chamberlain was great, we walked in with a plan to remodel the kitchen and a vague idea of what we wanted in units/style. Marchela suggested things we hadn’t thought about, was very knowledgeable and came up with a beautiful design. As our kitchen required some building and plumbing work Marchela put us with Chris Smith of Charlwood Construction as our fitters. Joshua from customer experience team updated me on delivery dates, space needed to store everything and what to expect. The Wickes delivery team arrived with half a lorry load of kitchen and our new appliances, they worked hard to unload, were courteous and polite. Our brilliant fitters got our kitchen to bare walls, floors up, ceilings down, two ring mains in for cooker and hob, plumbing and drainage done for where we wanted a sink and dishwasher. They were hard working, tidy and had a great eye and attention to detail. Cabinets in, walls painted, ceiling up with spot lights, new floor laid. The kitchen looks fantastic. We had a couple of damaged facias which were reported to the customer service team, Jamie Benton quickly arranged replacements and kept me informed of delivery dates. I would recommend Wickes of Crawley and would definitely use them again for any future projects.

We were very happy with the finished job and would definitely use them again.

We booked an appointment at 9:30 in our local branch for a kitchen design.
We arrived on time and R.S. received us making a joke about the computer not being on. Fine, we have time to have a look around the kitchen section to see some more ideas.
We sit down with R.S. and first question was what is your budget. We’re a young gay couple buying their first ever home (57m2 apartment with a small kitchen), our ideas are clear. We were looking for something simple, durable, practical, modern. Prioritizing durability over pure beauty.
We have never ever renewed a kitchen before, target? No idea, so we said a random number and the negative started. All was impossible, the list of “no” was endless, R.S. was clearly not willing to help. We left in 17 min.
I will assume that his attitude was not due to my strong foreign accent, the fact we’re a young gay couple or anything similar. That out of the equation seems that, due to his long experience in the field, he is just interested in big spenny projects not in smaller first time buyers mini kitchens.
Disappointed and confused for the experience we went to Wren kitchens without much hope, thinking we will be treated in the same way… nothing close to Wickes; in Wren they treat us with care, kindness and respect, helped us to design our kitchen and the whole experience didn’t take much more than an hour as we know what we were looking for. Wren gave us the quote and we accepted it straight away.

Are you looking for a great customer experience? You wanna be listened or understood? You wanna be helped? Don’t go to Wickes Crawley… our experience was far from acceptable.

Great store, well stocked and really helpful staff, beware parking you get only one hour, we were just over trying to sort products for bathroom, two weeks later fined, I feel one hour is just not enough if you are unsure what you need and require guidance and information from the Wickes Team.

John Gillam, the Kitchen Designer, was excellent in his attention to detail in the design and planning of my new kitchen. He was so helpful in his advice and keeping cost within my budget. What I liked about John is that he knew how to utilise the space of my kitchen effectively. I would definitely recommend him.

The consultant was extremely helpful and knowledgeable guiding us through the process of designing a new kitchen. He was excellent.

Richard Sheriden at the Crawley branch was very patient and helpful, ensuring the project went to plan and our installers, MM Perfect Ltd, were highly skilled, professional and friendly with great attention to detail.

A very professional, approachable and very experienced designer in her field. She has made the start of my journey for a new kitchen stress free and she listens to what you want intently. She suggests things you may not of considered but in no way pushy. She has been a delight to work with and a brilliant ambassador for your company. Always a smile, sense of humour and very polite. I look forward to the kitchen completion with confidence.

Always helpful and tidy when I come to this branch. Click and collected an order which was ready fast and a staff member helped me load it into my car. Five stars all round!

We recently had an excellent experience with our bathroom re-fit via the Crawley store. Our design consultant Richard Sheriden was great to work with - always very responsive and knowledgeable about the products. We walked into our first appointment not really knowing what we wanted and he gave us some good ideas and appealing price points - he made it all seem simple! We came up with a beautiful design in the first meeting and then everything else happened very quickly and seamlessly, with minimal effort on our part. Our brilliant fitters did a fantastic job and completely transformed our very tired and old-fashioned bathroom in less than two weeks. Every aspect of the project was taken care of and we are so happy with the finished product - we would highly recommend.

We had to load 20 bags of cement and Aiden done it with pleasure and did not mind at all so this just shows how good Wickes is treating their staff because they carry that out to their customers.
