Wickes - Watford Avaliações 

I visited Wickes Watford this morning. I am 75yrs old and have difficulty lifting heavy items. I requested at the counter for help. To my luck a young boy working at Wickes was passing by and the lady asked him if he could help me to pick my order. He was great. Immediately, he said Yes to helping me with a nice broad smile. I accompanied him and he made sure all the correct items were picked and in one case 'cos it was only available in 50l and I had asked for 75l he quickly calculated and told me I will need 6 bags instead of 4. I knew that but his attention n action said a lot about him. He placed all the items in the car very nicely, carefully and when I tipped him he refused to take the cash. I insisted and yet he refused. I had to push him to accept it and then he said I will give it to charity. I think he must be only 20-22 yrs old. Just goes to show his thinking. I did tell him it was for him and not charity. It was my pleasure to meet "Shaz". I would give him at least a 5* rating and he surely wud be an asset to any company he works for.
I just thought how proud he his parents must feel with his approach and attitude.

Made a click and collect and was served swiftly by a lovely lady called Kirti. All items were ready in a trolley and she went out of her way to track down a part and sought out and consulted a colleague when she was unable to find it (they don’t carry it) So I was in and out in minutes! Very impressed!!!!

Leo was very helpful and polite, asking if we needed help with the tiles, and suggesting he could call someone if he couldn’t assist us.
Really lovely young man, so nice to have someone who offered to help .

I would put zero stars if I could. Planning seemed all good and was assured they had it all covered. Had two builders contact me for fitting - one was super rude and refused him and the second dropped out after I accepted him. Third one was brilliant but he is essentially independent from Wickes. They messed up the orders and order updates. Then once installation started they couldn't rectify the mistake in a timely manner. Took much phone calling and badgering to sort. They couldn't even get a toilet to me on time so had to scour shops and try and source one elsewhere and it was hard to get one I wanted but the installer needed to finish. Then I had the wrong items at my house after installation that they didn't use. Took more calling and badgering to remove from my house just before Xmas. Then I asked for all the bill to be sorted so the right things were refunded before I started paying - this didn't happen. Payments started coming out that couldn't be stopped. I have asked about 5 times for a full up to date correct list of items I am paying for and still not arrived 3 months after installation. I complained and was referred to Customer Service. This was beyond terrible. Waited ages for responses - got asked for a load of detail and information they should have had - spend ages relaying this all back. Never got clear answers to my questions. Then was finally offered £250 compensation on an £11,000 bathroom - less than 2% of total. I said this was insulting and they finally replied saying go to Ombudsman and the case is closed and I am STILL trying to chase up a bill of everything I am supposed to be paying for. So I shall go to the Ombudsman but the effort and grey hair and stress this has caused and the time it has taken. Please avoid at all costs. It is the worst customer service I have ever received from any company ever. Don't be fooled at all into thinking this is a big company so it should be OK. It won't be. I feel very duped and let down and while awful for them - I was reassured to see other people had similar awful experiences. But Wickes shouldn't be allowed to keep getting away with it. Totally regret ever choosing them.

Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. I actually live closer to a different Wickes store but come to the Watford store as the staff are always helpful. Seeing Sara on the tills most mornings, she’s become a friend not just a colleague who works at Wickes. Kirti is also very helpful.

Kirti & Hannah helped to order bathroom tiles that were not all in stock. They called up local nearby stores to check the availability and reserved the remaining tiles required.

Additionally Ben P placed the order for bathroom fixtures (4x Toilets) which saved us another journey back to the store.

Overall we were able to order the items we required all on one day with lots of help from Kirti, Hannah and Ben.

Watford is the most tidy Wickes store in the area. It makes my shopping so much easy and enjoyable.
The staff are very attentive and helpful. I was served by Sara today and she always goes the extra mile to help.

Would love to say how helpful and cheerful Sara and Marie are in wicked Watford very pleasant and knowledgable definitely a great asset to wickes

Have been a Wickes customer for years... Always good service, and the staff are extremely helpful. Maria and Sara at the Watford branch are exceptionally friendly, very knowledgeable about any aspect of building/tools etc and a pleasure to deal with.

Hannah in the Watford store as are all the staff was so helpful and patient

I needed a new kitchen, I went to Wickes. Well, Jamie, the store manager was welcoming, friendly, asked what we need, the he allocated us to Tom Collins.
Tom came and did the measurements, then I went to see Tom in the shop. Wow!! So helpful, gave loads of options, was patient with me to choose colours, design and then he did everything amazing! He explained everything, have me option. So impressed, it made my day fun rather than stressful. Definitely recommend!! Thank you so much!

I would like to thank Kirti at the Watford store for her generosity. We requested some paint for our Day service for adults with learning disabilities. Kirti agreed straight away and a pot of paint was waiting for us at the front desk. The difference it has made to our lounge is incredible.

From Druvia Patel visiting and designing the Bathroom wetroom was fitted seemlessly.
