Having complained last week about the poor customer service I was contacted by Alex who was very helpful and worked very hard to resolve my situation. I collected a camer today and spoke to a very helpful manager again who listened to my complaint. My situation was resolved to a very pleasing srandard

The delivery was delayed that why I’m giving it a 4 rating. The tripod is actually good for the price.

I used to shop at the Chester store when they were Camera Solutions, and always found the staff very pleasant. The shop could have probably done with a bit of maintenance but luckily I wasn’t there to admire the store setting.

I recently popped into the store (which I almost walked on past thinking it had moved) after seeing they were taken over by Wilkinson cameras prior to my visit I checked the website info to make sure it was still in the same place, which I was glad it was as it’s in a great location.

However when I arrived where I thought the original shop was I almost walked past as I didn’t recognise the shop front from the photo on the website. Luckily I turned back around and found the lovely looking new shop front and pleasantly surprised to see a couple of the staff who worked at the previous company.

The inside looked amazing, I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the preowned in the window anymore however they have a small selection inside.

Unfortunately I didn’t get chance to have a chat with any of them as they were busy with other customers and a couple of others waiting to be seen to.

I will definitely be popping by again as I’ve been out of the photography game for a while since Covid and looking to upgrade my gear.
The reason i’m leaving 4 stars is I think updating info on the website would make your Chester store look a bit more professional before someone comes as all the other stores info look very up to date and modern compared to the Chester store but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to a more modern look.

Very easy to order and the camera arrived less than 48 hours later.

Excellent service, very responsive and lens was in excellent condition as described.

I bought a second hand Fuji x-t1 with 18-55mm lense from here. The condition was rated as B, however I have not noticed any cosmetic / functional wear whatsoever. Put side by side with a new one and I would struggle to spot the difference, which is impressive for a camera that is close to a decade old. The prices are also reasonable.

I purchased a second hand, grade E, GX7 just before heading off on 6 month travels. Unfortunately one of the dials was broken on receiving the camera, I made do with changing the settings around in the mean time. Once back in the UK, Graham at Wilkinson Cameras helped get the camera repaired under it's warranty. It took around a month to fix, but this was explained to me that it was due to a shortage in the part. Overall very happy with my experience of Wilkinson Cameras. Would definitely use them again.

A sought after, end of line camera was in stock, at a good price and was delivered next day. Lots of protective packaging. No problems.

The shop is well stocked and the staff are extremely polite and help. Helpful without being bies.

The advice I received from Liz and Graham plus the communication from them was outstanding.

I didn't receive it. I paid extra for next day delivery. I needed the product for a job the next day. I want refund on the extra postage paid. I'll order from Amazon next time.

It was nice to visit a high street store (Burnley) and find knowledgeable friendly camera people.. I took 4 camera bodies in for sensor clean . They did a better than expected job as two of them where as bad as I have ever seen

Went into Wilkinson’s Preston shop to look at a new LUMIX FZ2000 but saw a secondhand camera for sale. The camera was in excellent condition at a very fair price. When I got home I purchased the camera on line. Delivery was very fast so I was very pleased.
