Do not use this company. They are a fraud. Item was paid for and never arrived and they pretend they delivered it. Someone had waited all day to receive it and we never got it

It was a pleasure doing business with William Powell. I mistakenly selected the wrong glove colour when placing my order, but the team made the correction process incredibly straightforward. In addition, the delivery was impressively fast. I will certainly be using their services again.

Great service by William Powell. I contacted customer service to enquire about sizing and they replied very promptly. Ordered late afternoon for next day delivery and delivery was made next day before 8am… absolutely superb. Top quality items from an exceptional company. Thanks. One very satisfied customer.

The service that my partner and I have received from William Powell has been nothing short of disgusting. My partner purchased me a schoffel shirt for Christmas, which upon opening has got two black stains on it, which has obviously happend before the shirt was packaged. William Powell have refused to take the shirt back as this apparently does not fit with there warranty policy. We will be contacting trading standards to discuss this matter with them. I recommend you steer clear of this company.

Rubbish customer support, returns don't come through and you need to contact them yourself. You then need to contact royal mail on their behalf because they cannot be bothered.

I recently reached out to William Powell regarding an exchange for a Christmas gift, only to be informed that my request was denied due to their 28-day return policy. I checked the returns policy at the time of purchase because I knew the gift might need to be exchanged if it was the wrong size, and I was pleased to see that there was an extended festive returns period.

However, I now realize that because the item is on sale, it is technically excluded from this policy. This has been quite disappointing, especially since the item is unused and still in its original packaging. The lack of flexibility feels unfair, particularly during the holiday season when a small gesture of goodwill could make a significant difference.

This experience has significantly undermined my confidence in William Powell's customer service. I expected better, especially given the holiday spirit.

Christmas Eve and they have mucked up my ‘guaranteed ‘delivery for my husbands ONLY Christmas present. I have emails asking me to collect a parcel that isn’t even ready to collect!

Really bad customer service my parcel was delivered to a pick up shop, and giblven to someone else. The company did not care and just. Said it had been picked up. Never again

Company good on delivery but once you have a problem they are terrible have used in past but never again don't reply say they will get back to you but don't customer services is terrible £144 for a ladies jumper and badly let down by customer services had to claim through PayPal to get money back. Then they say hold up my review to them until they have spoken to me ?

Order has been missing for 5 weeks and customer service have now ignored me for almost 3 weeks.
Would avoid unless you want your money stolen.

Super Shopping Experience. I cannot fault my recent experience. I was very nervous after reading so many poor reviews. First time shopping with this company. I have to say the experience was superb. I received my jacket about 48hrs after placing order - ordered Tuesday and here Thursday morning. I received prompt updates on status (order received, shipment etc). Order was delivered by DPD - a super reliable and preferred courier. The price was fantastic - a good sale price almost £150 off RRP. Jacket arrived without garment bag - no big deal but I dropped them a line to ask about it as the description on the web said a bag came with it. Got an almost immediate reply and apology and garment bag is on the way. I cannot fault this service. Thank you!

Found the ladies short Barbour showerproof trench here, that I couldn't find anywhere in the shops. Excellent value for such a well made coat. Delivered quickly.

Bought a pair of boots. Returned them. Got an email saying the refund would not be processed and the boots would be returned to me because they suspected I had ordered them from somewhere else......even though they could see I had ordered those very boots from them a week before. I was basically accused of fraud by the 'customer services manager'. I asked to speak to someone more senior - refused. Made a complaint in writing and awaiting response. Will try and make a claim through credit card company to get my money back or go to small claims court. Will never shop here again. Outrageous behaviour.

Visited today with the sole purpose of buying a pair of Dubarry Boots. We had the budget, we had the inclination and we had the knowledge. I knew exactly what I wanted but wanted to try them on first obviously. At Circa £430, they needed to be right.
What I wasn’t prepared for, was the fact that my impeccably behaved dog would not be allowed in this ‘country pursuits’ shop. Nor it seems, are muddy boots welcome either (the sign on the door asks to leave muddy boots and dogs behind). What? Put simply, I have never experienced this in my life, it baffles me.
Don’t get me wrong, the man who served me was the epitome of good customer service and was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I honestly cannot fault him. However, we refused to part with our hard-earned money here
We took a brochure away with us and it is FULL of images of dogs, enjoying their lives with William Powell - clobber-clad owners. William Powell, also sell a wide array of dog coats, jackets and other canine paraphernalia. The salesman told me that the store had had a few accidents with visiting dogs and they had made the decision to ban them completely. He also told me that as long as the dog is kept downstairs, dog coats can be bought down to them to try. What?
Really? Did things get so very bad with visiting dogs, that you chose to close the wallets of their owners? How many times did you have to clean up after visiting dogs versus the sales you made with owners and their companions previously?
Dogs are now allowed in many high end stores, including John Lewis and I’m afraid they trump William Powell, 10 fold in the sale of expensive items.
Suffice it to say that we travelled to Milton Keynes and spent the same amount on a pair of the exact same boots, from another ‘family owned’ store, but the difference….my dog and my partner could join me on my boot-buying journey.
Really? Family owned or not, this is an ‘outdoor’ store, for ‘outdoor’ pursuits. You need to suck up the odd poo (not literally) if you intend to flourish in this cut-throat retail world.
I wonder just how many people have turned the car around after reading all of your prohibitive and unwelcoming signs on the door? What a shame.

First class service. I contacted William Powell to check size on an item, they measured the item for me and confirmed back to me the same day. I ordered the item and it came free delivery the next day at 2pm. Cannot rate highly enough,
will definitely by using William Powell again!
