Brilliant company to deal with. Antony Walton was so helpful and guided us through the whole process. It is really simple to do online but there was one question I wasn’t sure about but Antony explained it very clearly and was more than happy to run through all the questions to make sure we were happy with it all. Highly recommend and much cheaper than a solicitor.

People should be aware that this company simply sits between the customer and the government website. The actual government website itself is very helpful, and most of the work can be done directly there.

The one part that is usually the main friction point with doing a Power of Attorney — finding someone to act as the certificate provider to confirm the donor has capacity — is not included as part of their service. They effectively fill in the forms and send them to you, but you still have to go out and find the certificate provider yourself.

If you use a GP or another professional for this, there may also be an additional charge.

I personally found the advertising a bit misleading, because people should understand that they are effectively paying £99 for something they could largely do themselves through the government website, with this company acting as the middleman.
