Absolutely shocking service. Ordered a taxi. 3 mins away. 20 minutes later the guys still sat on the same street as when he accepted the job. Office didn't care, just gave me attitude. Asked to speak to a manager and typically none available. Got promised a callback that never happened. Honestly just use Uber, atleast they have customer service.

I ordered a taxi to come to my home and take me to M/cr Airport terminal 2 on the 4th Sept at 2.30am.
The taxi arrived at 2.20, and before we set off I explained that I have a fear of motorways and asked if he would drive at a slower pace than the 70 mile an hour speed limit.
It was raining very hard, and the ordinary roads were bad, so I was more anxious than I would be normally. We had been on the motorway (M60) and had gone through Stockport and the driver had been constantly looking at his phone. He was overtaking cars, driving faster and still looking at his phone .. at one point the rain was so bad the windscreen was completely covered and we had to shout from the back seat for him to turn in his wipers on! We asked again for him to slow down but he took no notice.
We got to the Airport and I was so distressed, nearly in tears. I told him I was fuming!!! and that I would report him. He said he hadn't broken any rules. I told him that I'd asked him to drive a bit slower than normal and he'd taken no notice. We paid him and he just drove off.
Taxi drivers name was Imran. He drove a black minibus. He probably works Ashton/Oldham areas.
This is the second Zoom driver we have had taking us to the Airport in the early hours, NOT driving at a reasonable speed after explaining that their customer has a fear of motorways. Please take note drivers as it's really not acceptable! Next time I will get your reg and badge number and report you to the council.

Left us stranded -
Booked a taxi over 24hrs in advance. No callback, no heads up! Gave them a call to let them know we were on our way to the pick up spot to get a message to say cancelled and won’t be sending a replacement!
We were stranded and had to pay nearly £100 in cash to arrange alternative transport! Attitude of the switch board also disgusting just didn’t care!

Taxi for my partners first neurologist appointment didn’t arrive, she had to cancel the hospital appointment which caused unnecessary stress and upset for her. Had more than 20 drivers reject the journey, had 6 that were on their way, but seemingly changed their minds. Taxi was booked more than 48 hours in advance, operators were completely useless and unhelpful, with one giving the wet excuse that because it was prepaid and rush hour that drivers would reject it. Didn’t say that when they took my money though did they?
Absolute disgrace of a company, they just don’t care or realise the inconvenience, stress and anger this has caused.

Left in the lurch!
Used the xoom app for only the 2nd time. My first experience was a bit hit and miss but what happened last night left me speechless. The app told me the driver was 2 minutes away. 10 minutes later, (no big deal) the white Toyota Prius pulled up on the opposite side of a very , very busy Rochdale Road in Blackley. My phone rang confirming my ride had arrived and I left the venue, waved to the driver to acknowledge his presence and indicated I would move a little up the road, to allow him to complete a u-turn, as my destination was was in the opposite direction to the way he was facing. The driver, quite correctly in my view, waited for a suitable gap in the traffic, indicated right, then pulled out and headed off towards the centre of Manchester, leaving me, still on the opposite side of the road, now without a ride!!! I checked my phone to discover "ride cancelled" and a "rebook" button. Confused, frustrated and very disappointed, I called my usual taxi company who arrived another ten minutes later, on the right side of the road and transported me to my intended destination. I made it in time for the festive meal celebration, no thanks to Xoom! I have uninstalled their app! Zero out of ten!

AVOID!!! They are careless thieves.

Xoom is brilliant second time ordering from the company picked up on time for hospital app to cheadle and picked up for return home and price was great the service is outstanding both drivers pleasant to talk too. 😁

Stop your drivers lying and send me a local driver who knows the area, which is never going to happen.

My 90 year old dad, who has all his faculties, uses a taxi today and left his wallet open on the backseat.
When he called the taxi company the driver said he had not seen it.
This is outrageous. Every taxi driver is know will give the back a quick scan to ensure nothing is left.
