Sick and tired of the constant outages every 2 weeks

This company was ‘down’ 7x last summer for 24-72 hours each time. You get no updates, they can’t be bothered to update you on their website, if lucky you get a phone message 2 hours after it goes out and 2 hours after it’s on. No information when it will be on or if anyone is even out fixing it AND EACH TIME they never are til the next day. Now we are going through the same crap again. What have they done to find out who’s cutting their line and fix this issue from last year - nothing! Why don’t they have extra on hand so it can be fixed faster, why aren’t they checking where copper is sold, why don’t they have cameras - cause it costs them nothing accept the repair. We pay regardless of the fact we get no service or the fact that time after time we have to phone and waste our time while techs say, there is no outage for 15 min and then after driving us crazy finally go ‘oh ya, your service IS out”. NO shit Sherlock. Sick to death of it - service was out for 24 hours just TWO weeks ago and now it’s out again and even though it went out at 5 and it’s sunny out til 9:30 they won’t be doing any thing til tomorrow- so fed up! Why isn’t Bell’s service constantly out??? You have no business being in business.

Terrible Equipment Performance

Fast 5G speeds, however, their router is garbage.

The range is significantly worse than the v2 StarLink router, Rogers Nokia 5G router, and my 10 year old low end D-Link router. It is unable to reach cameras that all of the above routers had no issues connecting to.

Customer service treated me like a moron and suggested I rent an extender and pay exorbitant shipping for it when it is not required by any of their competitor's routers.

If you're sitting next to the router the speeds are great, I'll give them that.

Technician moved the satellite to the position that it should’ve been placed on my property in the first place.Works better now and looks better on the property. And he connected it properly to the proper cell tower. Appreciate his professionalism and expertise.

Shame on you Explore X. Grady reach company.

I have been Explorenet since the beginning. And now is Explore X. My home was flattened. I contacted Explor X to lower my price because I'm not using it. I just need it for my security cameras, as I live in a rural area and my neighbour is a convicted sex offender. Over the last four years, I have used no more than 1 GB per month.
I asked several times to lower my payments with no positive result. There is no one to talk to. I'm upset about it. Explore X doesn't appreciate loyal customers.
Xplore Inc. (formerly Xplornet) is a Canadian rural internet service provider. While it's difficult to pinpoint the exact revenue for 2023, Xplore's own reporting from February 2025 indicates it achieved $8.7 billion in revenue and a $3 billion profit in 2023. This was a substantial increase from previous years, with projections for even greater growth in 2024.

Xplore Kings of rural internet

Xplore
1. The support number is not hard to find.
2. When you call you don't waite long.
3. The person is experienced and can figure what is needed every time i have called.
4. My Tech has always been Chad. HE is a local guy who is a true techy, and knows the product, and gets it done. Chad also keeps me informed on what Xplore is working on so I did not make the mistake of signing up with big satellite guys who don't have local guys.

Avoid this wifi
It randomly disconnects and cannot be trusted to stay online. If you have any important work that needs reliable wifi, avoid this company at all costs. Additionally, their Wi-Fi towers are located in Ontario, so if you don't live in Ontario, you will experience significant delays. It is borderline a scam. I am begging everyone to avoid this horrible company. Please ignore all the positive reviews. They are either bots or people who don't understand modern technology well enough to give an accurate review.

Xplore has great service!

I have used the services of Xplore recently and previously at a different address when it was considered Explornet. In both instances I have not been discouraged with the service. Were there problems that came up? Sure but the way that Xplore deals with the issue has been second to none.i have had prompt service from knowledgeable technicians and the issues are not being long for resolution Connectivity/lagging is not usually an issue so I enjoy fast Wifi using multiple devices.

Donating monthly to this company is no fun. They are supposed to give you internet access when you pay, but Xplore just cannot guarantee that. An internet connection that cuts out every 2-5 minutes as well as during any kind of upload (like simply sending a photo). I could only dream of getting the 50 mbps download speed we pay for. Countless calls with worthless troubleshooting, replacing the router and modem; these things don't change anything when your ISP is not able to provide what they advertise. After all this, you make us pay for a worker to come on sight to do what? Fiddle with the direction of our antenna and act like it's changing anything? It didn't.

Don't consider this internet service "provider", if you have the choice.
